Educate us pls. The muslims always open their hypocritical mouths to criticise Christian denominations, wen islam is worst.
Answer the ops.
Brother it's not a form of denomination it's like 2 categories which is like Catholic & Protestant from what I understand and it's not like it's complicated denominations that can be started by anybody and start calling themselves pastor, just like we have thousands of churches in Nigeria, even in advance countries & where Christianity started its just 2 forms Catholic and Protestant but in Nigeria and Africa is now where they splited the Protestant into thousands upto the extent that anybody can come and create its own and remember unlike in Christianity any Muslim can pray in any Mosque be it Sunni, Sufi, Shii but it's hard for a Member of Church A to go to Church B and pray, the only differences among the Islamic 1 isn't expressed in the public gatherings like Mosque and co because they pray in the same mosque, do all the necessary things together but the differences is just in a private way of life of the followers, the way they pray, the books they use and co and that is the reason why even as a Muslim you might not be aware of it unless you want to have a deep knowledge of any differences, it's possible to be a Muslim for a lifetime without spotting any differences if you are not observant enough or seek deep knowledge.

those are books from islamic scholars to help u understand islam better
So what is the Final verdict now? Cos you said they use books from Islamic scholar which makes us understand religion better(To compliment What is in Quran & Hadith Wh isn't a bad thing), Why then are u condemning them and saying Sunni is best? Moreover for a normal Muslim that goes to Mosque & follow the rule, Do it means they are automatically practicing Sunni?

Good afternoon, I'm a Muslim & I'm aware of different denominations like Sunni, Sufi, Shii but I don't really know the differences among the different sect because it's like Sunni is the 1 practiced here in Nigeria but it's like others don't really have too much presence. Plz I'd like to know the differences between them in pragmatic ways like mode of prayer, the differences in believes and doctrine, I've surfed the Internet but the explanation is not really something I can comprehend in a pragmatic way. Thanks & Jumah Mubarak

I am a graduate that finished NYSC earlier this year, I graduated with a 2.2 from a reputable university but I've not been able to secure a reasonable job and I want to ask my fellow Nairalanders here how I can get a good Volunteer Job in a good organization where I will be able to build my career while working there instead of been idle

Note: I'm not financially strong and I don't come from a background that can raise reasonable amount of money for me to start business so I think business is out of it for now(though I intend to do it in the nearest future), I said this because of those that will come & be telling tales of how I can be on my own and start a business without money (I don't believe in the school of thought that you can start business without capital). Thanks & all ideas are welcome & appreciated

Yeah I got ur point. I am just asking about Agbere Town in Bayelsa. My late Mum came from there and I am planing visiting. Tot you cud provide me with some info privately. Thanks
yeah agbere is under Sagbama LGA and if u are coming from Lagos you can board a bus from Lagos(East West road through Warri, Ughelli) down to Bayelsa, it's on upland not riverine & you will get to Sagbama b4 the bus final destination, as soon as you climb Patani bridge(it links delta & bayelsa) tell the driver you are dropping at Sagbama they will drop you there, I've not been there b4 but I've been to Sagbama Uplands Wh is the area the community is located but if you ask the people in Sagbama they will direct you on how to get to the exact community from there.

Hello please do you know where they call AGBERE TOWN in Bayelsa?... I need info about the place pls.
Offcourse you are on point because Dickson really underperformed and created a lot of controversies and it doesn't take it away from the fact dat GEJ has no political base in Bayelsa, the only reason Bayelsans voted him was because he was an Ijaw man not because he performed or they benefitted anything from his govt Wh u & I know, except for enriching the corrupt few militant and politicians, he doesn't command any reasonable following in Bayelsa when compared to Alameiseigha sef talkless of people like Sylva and co but they had no option than to support him because he was there brother & he doesn't really have loyalist in BY, Why is APC gaining ground more & more less than 6 months that he left office? Enugu shoprite now automatically world class city, Do you know that the same Ibadan shoprite is the largest in West Africa? Moreover don't make fool of yourself bro you can't compare S/West with East in no way, because the level of development and cosmopolitan nature is too wide, infact I'm not sure S/East can compare with South South coast no place in S/East is half developed when compared to places like Port Harcourt, Calabar, Akwa Ibom and Benin, Warri and co, talkless of the almighty South West

Must you associate everything with Biafra, hatred & Bigotry, this image you are seeing hear is what we have in almost every part of Nigeria due to 1 reason or the other infact its worst in some part of Lagos and go to riverine areas in the Niger Delta region like Bayelsa, Rivers & Delta you will see something worst but they blame govt not that they show hatred & so on but they won't play the victim card the way you people do, for reasons best known to your people , Igbo's play Victim Card a lot whereas this are general Nigerian challenges not sectional or govt are selective in all this things, I love Igbo's but they so much hate other tribes like Yoruba & Hausa Fulani due to Civil War & co and it's still there till today. I'm thinking of marrying my igbo g.f but I'm sure her family won't be in support due to Yoruba Phobia among your people, na to get extra tyre before she comes up with a flimsy reason to separate which might have tribalistic undertone.

if it dares rain in southwest like this houses will not be immersed in water but dissolved in water, because mud can not withstand water for long. It will practically destroy those huts
you must be a big f.o.o.l u know why? Mud is even more compact than loose sand in construction making construction cheap & easy in the North & S/West as against some part of South East & South South where construction is not only expensive but hard and time consuming due to loose sand in there terrain, the problem with you is that u are a non repenting bigot full of hatred for yoruba's and North, get a life & reason with your head not abusing a region due to hatred slowpoke moreover what you are seeing in the pics above is due to environmental pollution by the people of the community cos they have drain ages but are dumping refuse into it and the effect is what you are seeing here.

Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo is set to receive over seventy leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State led by the former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Timi Alaibe to the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

Osinbanjo, according to the leadership of the APC, will receive the PDP defectors at a mega rally slated for Saturday 15th of August, 2015.

Among the PDP bigwigs set to dump the party include the immediate past Senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorila district, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; ex-former Acting Governors Nestor Binabo and Werinipre Seibarugu, former Deputy Governor of Bayelsa, Peremobowei Ebebi, Senator John Brambaifa, Senator Clever Ikisipo and Ambassador Emmanuel Otiotio.

Also listed are the former House of Representatives member, Dr. Stella Dorgu, former NDDC board chairman, Prof. Tarila Tebepah, Rear Admiral FBI Porbeni (rtd.), the former Reps members – Christopher Enai, Warman Ogoriba, Bonus Indiamaowei, Nelson Belief, Nadu Karibo, former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Gideon Ekeowe and former Deputy Speaker, Fini Angaye.
Most of the latest defectors, it was learnt, decided to dump the PDP due to the influence and assurance from the former NDDC boss,Timi Alaibe.
Alaibe, according to informed sources, was instrumental to the defection of some former commissioners in the state.

Confirming the decision of the former PDP leaders to defect to APC, Chief Alex Ekiotenne, former Honorary Adviser to Governor Seriake Dickson, said the defectors also comprised Chief Hings Dumbo, Selebina Saboh, Prince Abeki, Mrs. Tonye Apreala, Miebi Biribina (philanthropist), and many former special advisers and Governor representatives, among others.

He said the defectors would formally declare for the APC at a mega rally on Saturday, August 15, 2015, in the state.

The defectors would be received by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, National Chairman, APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, five governors, former Governor Timipre Sylva and top stalwarts of the party including its Chairman, Chief Tiwei Orunimighe,” he said.

The PDP family in the state it would be recalled had been enmeshed in crisis since it conducted its last primary elections for the state and National Assembly polls.

The development had led to divisions, infighting, suspensions, expulsions and defections of of its members.

Also, efforts by former President Goodluck Jonathan, the party’s Board of Trustees and critical stakeholders to resolve the crisis in the PDP had yet to achieve the desired results.

Tiwei(APC Chairman Bayelsa State) my man, really loved by the people of Southern Ijaw LGA and Bayelsa in general, the guy is so charismatic and has the qualities of a good leader, I really enjoyed every moment we worked together in the last general election and the way he plays his politics in the face of stiff opposition from GEJ and co when they were in power, just the way he frustrated & intimidated founding members of Bayelsa APC. I'm really missing Niger Delta region but I pray APC win the governorship election cod Bayelsan are tired of Dickson but APC was more of a poison I'in the ear of an Ijaw man then but they are now embracing change, so. Sad GEJ has no political foothold in BY just like he didn't have at national level

All those stories we heard back then about him changing his colour because of low self esteem or because he wasn't proud are not true.

It's disheartening when you see your past black beautiful female friends, Ex g.f's suddenly become light complexioned through bleaching, Do you think light complexion is beauty? Ask Koreans, Chinese, Britons like Garrth Bale among others that are very ugly despite been white. It's disgusting seeing a young beautiful lady turning Blackish light complexioned(Thick Black Spot on a bleached face & body), Reddish light(Red Segments on a bleached face & body) & Greenish Muscles due to over bleaching, some even smell like cream, but the moderate bleachers have black spots on their ankles, toes and body joints and virtually 80%(Literates & Illiterates) of our ladies now take to bleaching which they think will make them look more beautiful but hell no it doesn't it only makes you worst & it's is very bad & disgusting.

It's even worst when you see some useless irresponsible guys doing the same thing all in the name of looking good & even though ladies are guilty of bleaching no responsible lady will take them serious
Note: Light complexion doesn't make you beautiful but makes you worst, the likes of Okonjo Iweala, Beyounce, Alakija, Rihanna are never white yet they make in their chosen path likewise OBJ, D'Banj, Davido all made it without changing colour of their skin.

Remember what happened to your oga in bleaching, bleaching sucks bleachers
