I have a degree in political science and psychology (social science) but I’m currently working in the banking industry. So do I choose social science as my primary occupation in my ds 260 or I should choose other and write and banking and finance because there is no banking and finance in the list |

princemeadow: Congratulations to them please what is their visa category and do you have any idea of the questions they asked them? |
![]() |
Chloraseptic: Ok thank you. But please what Visa category are you? I’m FB1 I heard the DS 260 form differs from every Visa category |
![]() |
Please has anyone filled the DS 260 form recently? Does it still have a section for previous work and school details? Mine does not I saw two questions in a sample on NVC website but I didn’t see it in my form 1. Were you previously employed? 2. Have you attended attended any educational institution at a secondary or above? Or it has been modified now Or should I call NVC? Please advice |

nowhere: If this is true Pls what does mean? I am now about to start with my ds260 and civil documents.. will I be affected? That means I won’t get DQ afterwards or will they pause the 2nd chart date in the visa bulletin to stop new processing? |

Hi everyone please I’m about to submit my birth certificate on CEAC. My dad who is the petitioner has a change of name and has a affidavit from USCIS to support that. Currently the I bear the surname on the change of name documents Should I attach my dad change of name to my birth certificate and upload on CEAC( as in 2 pages . Page 1 will be birth certificate and page 2 will be charge of name) or I should upload the change of name as other documents. |

Hello everyone here Please my dad filed a petition for my siblings and I. As unmarried son and daughter above 21. My elderly sister who is married decided not to inform NVC of her marriage because of her own reasons. She still uses my dads surname but has a marriage certificate. Is there anyway the embassy will investigate to find out if she’s is legally married. She is not using her husband’s name. Does the embassy really do this investigation at the court? She’s is actually 40 years with 5 children. Will her age and number of children raise any concern to investigate about her marital status? |

Are our embassies really doing their best to clear the backlogs so that we can reunite with our family members. This processing is really taking long. |

1. My dad lives alone he actually filed for me and my siblings. We actually 3 and all of us have children the children in total are 7 plus us so we are all 10 in number. My dads income is 36,000 but we all have one joint sponsor my brother and his wife. My brother has two properties pls can it cater for the 10 of us ? My brother had 5 children in his house 2. Since we all have different I-130 and we all got different interview dates will it be judged according to the principal applicants and its derivatives? I mean my little sis who has only one child will she be granted the visa since my dad income can cater for her and her child or all us will be judged together? please answer both questions above |
