If u have ready all doccument then u can submit doccument is ther chance to overturn

I mad same mistake as listing my solicitors when I get my refusal that time I have all doccument ready but my solicitors didn allow to submit now am waitin for my hearind this month my 9 month waste of this year is so hard . Some solicitors are so greedy for money

yams79: Hi
Am new to this site and have a question to ask..

I came back from UK 22nd November 2012, put in an application for a spouse visa on 23rd November 2012 which was refused February 2013..

Points for refusal were:

1. That I did not provide evidence of contact with my fiance since I returned to gambia. Mind you this is less than 24hours.

2. That he/she is not satisfied that our relationship is subsisting since 2010. The first part the Eco got wrong in this paragraph is the year because on the initial application we put there 2009 not 2010. So he is not satisfy that the relationship is genuine.

3. That we state we were gonna get married but provide no evidence of venue so he/she
is not satisfy that am seeking entry to enable my marriage to take place. Note that we cannot make any bookings because I wasn't sure if the visa will be granted.

I put in an appeal in March 2013 with all the documents raise in the refusal letter and the deadline for it was 21st of August 2013. Reaching that deadline we had nothing from the embassy. We got a hearing date for January 8th 2014 which my partner will attend in UK.. Our solicitor told us that the tribunal requested him to send them a bundle which he said he is not going to..

My question is..

Does appeals take this long almost 8
Months without even reviewed by the embassy and on top of that they didn't even send a bundle to the tribunal.

2. What chance do I stand for getting my visa..

At this stage in the process I would have thought that your case has either or is due to be shortly reviewed by the ECM. Have you emailed the Sheffield office to find out if they have an update on your case?

I think you got it right, they are currently reviewing your case and will contact you once a decision has been made. I'm not sure about calling you with the outcome of the review, I thought that either way you would receive notification of the decision via email or its posted to the representative of the appeal. I could be wrong though, maybe someone else on here has received a phone call instead and can advise you. All in all, you should get some answers soon which is a blessing. I pray it all works out well for you.

Hello my deadline has bn passed over 5 week I call them twice in week n they give different ans all the time

girlfio:

Generally court dates are scheduled 5 months after you receive the letter which will give you the reasons why the decision was made to maintain the refusal. It is likely that the date they will give you at this stage will be in early 2014.

Yes you can make a new application whilst your appeal is still running. Its worth noting though that once you've been refused they will heavily scrutinise any new application so make sure you meet all the points of the refusal and provide all necessary documentations.

I pray this all works out for you in the end.

I mean I can do settealment application n keep my appeal on running both I can do same time
Sorry I keep ask u same questions but I wanna make sure proper

What is means ( IA10 NOTICE )
Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by leeon2011(m): 6:38pm On Sep 02, 2013
girlfio:

On the notice of appeal letter that you received which gave you this deadline of 8th August it should have also noted that a copy has been issued to your representative, here it will give your lawyers name and then underneath that it should then say copy has been sent to visa office and next to that should be the name of the visa office where your appeal will be reviewed by the ECM. This is where you should be directing your emails to. Might also be worth you asking your lawyer for a copy of the emails they've been sending. Your lawyer should be able to advise you who you need to be contacting to get an update on your case.

@ girlfio I received a email from tribunal
Read my post after long time they reply

Hey guys finally I received a email from tribunal and they say this

We are currently experiencing a high volume of appeals. It is currently taking six weeks (from the deadline on the IA10 notice) for a hearing to be allocated.

We recommend that you contact us in 2 weeks if you have not heard from us

I received from visaSheffield

As your application and appeal was not processed in Sheffield, I am unable to give you any information regarding the outcome of your appeal.  You should however be notified of the result of the appeal shortly after the deadline date you received when it was originally submitted

But my deadline finnish on 8th of August still not hear anyfink form them

Ok. You have to keep emailing d tribunals until you get a reply. They normally do reply.
Secondly, you should email the British high Commission in India asking for an update on your case.

One more thing, have you received any letter from the tribunals stating the time frame for your appeal and when next you should expect to hear from them?

Yeah I received when I submit my appel

Is say's by 8th of August but still nuffiing came

No, the Sheffield office do not deal with visa appeals for India. I believe they are processed at the Loughborough office. Not too sure how they can be contacted but it might be worth contacting the office where you submitted your appeal.

My lwayer submitted my appeal from london ( u.k )
