Any reasonable man with common sense knows that if he cooks before she gets home she gets to clean up the house earlier and they can go to bed earlier. Its really nit rock science its a matter of getting things done when they need to be done. Whats the point of leaving her to everything simply because one believes he is a man and its not his duty, who will eat late at the end of it?
