Then. Sarah came to meet Rhonda. She wanted to slap Rhonda but Troy stopped her by holding her hand.

She dragged his arm and they walked out on Brian and Sophia .sophia ran towards them. And dragged Troys hand but he flinched her hand away instantly. They bang the door on them leaving Brian and Sophia with their mouth wide open.

flee. "If you would not leave my room, I will leave for you," I said firmly. I got out of my room a bit confused about what to do.
I wandered around through our street for some minutes. I could not get the image of Faith's naked body off my mind. The devil kept flashing her picture through my mind at intervals. The temptation was too much. I decided at last to go to the house of one of my colleagues to while away the time. I was tempted to tell him about my present predicament but I dismissed the thought. He would not be of help because he is the type that womanizes, he would only encourage me to see it as an 'opportunity.' I stayed at his place till very late in the evening. I wanted to make sure that I did not return to my room till very late in the night, so that Faith would have retired to her own room. I got home around 11pm, only to discover that she was still in there
. "What kind of trouble is this?" I thought.
I waited outside a bit to plan my next line of action. Calling neighbours won't be of help, they all knew we were good friends, some even had the impression that we were dating each other. I made up my mind to push her out of my room, naked or not. I entered the room, Faith was still lying naked on the bed. I rushed to the bed to drag her out, but I found out she was fast asleep. As I was about to drop my bag on the table, she pounced on my back, I lost my balance and we both crashed on the bed. It was then that I realised that she wasn't asleep, she only pretended. I tried to wriggle free from her hold but she already laid on me... I lost my guard and surrendered to her. Though I was a virgin, I was overwhelmed by the temptation.
We started the pre-intimacy. She was the one that was in charge, I was inexperienced. Just when the inter course was about to take place, your picture came through my mind like a flash. I stood up suddenly as if I had seen a ghost. I felt a strong sense of guilt in the whole of my being. She appeared like a pile of rubbish to me that very minute. Faith was disappointed. Her mission failed. "Come and finish what you started," she whispered angrily.
I opened my door, told her to get out that minute and never say hello to me again. I was panting heavily. "What? You are joking ," she replied.
"Get out or else you will regret it!" I shouted this time around with a mean look on my face, "We cease to be friends henceforth," I concluded.
She rose up angrily from the bed and murmured something I didn't hear clearly. I didn't care to know what it was she said, all I wanted was for her to get out.
She picked up her clothes, wore them, hissed and walked out.
I collapsed on the bed after I have bolted the door and wept like a baby. I was angry with myself. I regretted ever allowing her into my life in the first place.
. I knew God was annoyed with me already. The guilt I felt was indescribable. I had no boldness to ask God for mercy. Even though I didn't eventually have sex with her, I got my sexual passion ignited which was harmful to my spiritual life. The more I thought about you, the more my guilt increased. I knew you have kept yourself for God all these while and the best I could do was to do same too.
That was why I was furious when you didn't bleed during our first inter course. I felt betrayed.
I woke up the following morning and went to work as usual. I made sure I changed the padlock to my room. I never knew Faith had another plan entirely. She actually wanted to destroy me...

Episode 8
Dayo moved quietly to the bed side where Foluke knelt. He sat on the edge of the bed, folded his arms across his chest and sighed deeply. Deep inside him, he felt a bit of relief to know that at least, no third party has heard about the present storm in their marriage yet. He sighed again, then cleared his throat noisily.
"I know you must have something to say, Foluke spoke suddenly, her voice startled her husband. "I know you do", she reiterated, "you sure must have an explanation for this mess, so speak up, I am all ears." Dayo's heartbeat rose again
. He became so nervous. He opened his mouth and closed it again. He wasn't sure of how best to start off. He just did not want to annoy his bride. He so much valued their relationship and would never let go of her. At last, he found the courage to speak, "Foluke, I need you to help me, I am in a mess", he surrendered. "Yes, I know, we both are in there", Foluke concurred.
"No! Dayo countered, I dragged you into this mess, you are innocent of everything, please forgive me. "Dayo, this is not the time to ask for forgiveness, I need to know how and when that lady came into your life to the extent of wanting to destroy our marriage, our relationship, what we both toiled for all these years, how?" Foluke interrogated in a trembling voice, she was really scared. She wished Dayo would tell her the plain truth.
"Foluke, please listen to me
. I will tell you nothing but the truth."
"Okay, go on, I am listening," Foluke replied hastily.
Dayo continued, "I met Faith during my Youth Service. She was also a Corp member then. Though we had different Places of Primary Assignments (PPA), but we lived in the same house. My own room was next to hers on the same wing in a 'Face to Face apartment'. We became friends quickly because we were the only corp members living in the house. I became so fond of Faith because she seemed to be the kindest person I have ever met.
She did help me out with stuffs like writing my lesson notes (we were both teachers), purchasing foodstuffs for me in the market, fetching water for my bath and so on. Most times, I would not cook because each time, Faith cooked, she prepared the meal for both of us. I thought she was just being kind all along, but she had her intentions...
I grew so fond of her that my day wouldn't be complete if I hadn't set my eyes on her. Though we were just friends but the friendship was getting deeper by the day. One afternoon, after cooking a delicious jollof rice, she brought my portion into my room. I was excited as usual, more so I was famished. She brought hers along too (that had been her usual custom), we both ate together, either in her room or mine.
I was eating the delicious meal when my cell phone rang. You were the one that called. We talked that day and at the end of our conversation, I said 'I love you and I miss you', which of course was my normal practice. After you ended the call, I noticed Faith's facial expression changed totally, her smile vanished, she wore this forlorn look on her face. I questioned her change of mood, but she simply said nothing was wrong. Since then, I started avoiding Faith.
. I knew instantly that her mood changed because my Fiancee called. It dawned on me then that I was playing with fire. I tried to create a gap between us but it wasn't that easy.
The mistake I made was that I was too careless to have allowed such an intimate relationship to grow between us. Though I did not really talk about you whenever we were together, but she knew I had a fiancée. The aspect that made avoiding her so difficult for me was that she had a spare key to my room. She collected it from me on one particular day like that her reasons being that I sometimes come back late from work, so she would have to put my food in a warmer and drop it in my room in case she would be going out later in the evening.
I decided to change the key to my room. I was so desperate about putting an end to our intimacy. The very day I brought another padlock and key to replace the one I was using. I got home that afternoon and met my room unlocked. I knew someone was in there already, 'of course that must be Faith', I thought. I opened the door slowly and entered my room, where I beheld the greatest shock in my entire life...

Episode 7
Dayo got to the door of their hotel room but just as he was about to knock on the door, he heard the voice of his wife from within. He sensed she was speaking with someone on phone. He delayed his knocking and waited at the door to eavesdrop a bit, just in case he might get to know the state of her mind at the moment through whatever she was discussing with the person at the other end. "That must be her mum", he sighed, "Foluke doesn't keep friends." His thoughts were interrupted by Foluke's voice...
"But you assured me that he is a good guy, I believed in your words, you never gave me the impression that things would ever get out of hand like this
. I am so heart broken right now. Please I need your advice and words of comfort. It's true that no man can ever be trusted. You are the only friend I have now, please come quickly".
"Friend? "Dayo was surprised. "Foluke doesn't really have a close friend that I know of ." He strained his ears more to listen to the conversation further. She was weeping as she talked making her words a bit inaudible. He couldn't hear the voice of the person at the other end of the line because the phone was not placed on loud speaker.
A waitress entered the corridor where Dayo was standing.
. He quickly brought out his phone and pretended to be checking through it
. The waitress murmured her greetings, while he responded quietly, not wanting to make his bride conscious of his presence at the door. Immediately the waitress got outof sight, he moved closer to the door once more to hear what his wife was saying. Two things held him down. One, the fear of having to face his wife after all that happened and two, the consequences that would follow after. Will she really leave me for good? 'But wait, she stood to defend me before Faith, she fought for her marriage, but did she really mean that? Oh no! Not after that slut slapped her ... he thought...
Foluke's voice came up again, the person on the other end must have been talking since, Dayo thought, because Foluke stopped speaking some minutes back.
"You told me he has a good heart and that I will be safe with him, you said he is not a cheater, how come I am experiencing all this so early? She demanded.
"Aaaaaaarrrggghh! Who could that be, could it be my Dad? Foluke had probably called my Dad" Dayo thought. "Or maybe James (James was Dayo's closest friend back at school). "She must have called James." He listened further.
"You promised to help me, please come quickly, I will be expecting you." Foluke concluded.
At that, Dayo knocked on the door believing the conversation must have been over, he didn't want to risk allowing Foluke to discover he had been at the door eavesdropping.
"Who is it?" Foluke asked from within, her voice was expressionless, not of joy, neither of sadness nor anger.
Dayo's heart missed a bit. It thumped so loudly that one might be hearing the sound. "It's me honey", he replied in a trembling voice and opened the door. What he saw astonished him. His bride was actually on her knees praying, with the Holy Bible held firmly to her chest. Her eyes were as red as blood, she had cried a whole lot.
Dayo's assumptions were wrong all along. Foluke was actually talking to God!

After few minutes
Emily was tired of crying so she wiped her tears.
Then Sophia and Nancy entered the girls restroom And saw Emily cleaning her eyes
Sophia - Emily.
Emily quickly wiped her tears away
Emily - what (she yelled)
Nancy - take it easy girl, we are just showing concern
Emily - go away, u girls don't like anyone except ur self

Nancy - I saw Henry carrying Sarah to the school clinic earlier.
Sophia -me too. I don't like that girl a bit.
Nancy - no one does. First she tries to steal Roy from Betty, now Henry maybe tomorrow Troy
Sophia got angry
Sophia - Nancy watch ur mouth
Nancy - sorry am sorry I didn't mean it.
Emily started smiling .
Emily -who would have thought that u girls do u issues with each other

Emily looked surprised

Nancy and Sophia laughed at her

Emily thought about it for a short while then shook her head
Emily - I don't want to be cruel like u guys just to get Henry. U girls are mean
She said and walked out on them
Sophia gasped
Nancy - did she just say am mean. I mean we are mean.
Sophia - see who we are trying to help.
Nancy - leave her she will run to us one day for help. I guarantee you.

The bell rang.
Everyone was now in class except Sarah and Henry.
Roy looked at Sarah's seat and she wasn't there and then at Henry's seat and he wasn't there . Just. Then a teacher came in.

Roy's thought
Where is she, is she badly hurt. I know that Sarah won't miss class for just anything. Maybe the injury I'd worst than I imagined. Maybe Henry is with her. Am sure he will take good care of her.
Teacher - everyone start writing. Ur comprehension of the day I will never forget. Give me 450 words.
Roy - the day I will never forget are many, today when Henry threw my uniform away and carried Sarah, the way she was laughing. The day she helped me tie my fist. I think I like this girl because whenever I see her with Henry I can't control the anger I feel inside.

Emily couldn't write very well, she tries her best to write at least anything to get her score. She just keep thinking of how Henry threw Roy's uniform away and used his own uniform for her wounds. How he carried her and totally ignored her when she spoke to him as if she wasn't there.

Brian was spying on Rhonda and looking back all the time. Anytime she looks at him she always see Brian staring at her and she sometimes mouth stop looking ND write. Then he will smile but still continue to look at him but once in a while .
She wanted to sit close to Brian but Emily was sitting there. She wonder if Emily would exchange seat with her.
Rhonda's seat is behind Henry two seat behind Henry's seat actually. While Emily's seat is at the second role in the front.

break time..
Roy has been going around the skul using style to look for Sarah because she didn't attend any classes since and now it's break time but she wasn't anywhere to be seen.
He helped Sarah to copy some of her notes because her bag was in the class.
He was already tired of searching but he decided to check one more place before his search ends.
He went to the skul clinic and was looking through every room window until he saw Sarah and Roy. His heart skipped.
Sarah was lying down while Henry was holding her hand.
Henry - are u OK now?
Sarah nodded
Henry - u are a lazy girl. U were just screaming when the nurse was applying spirit to ur wound
Sarah started laughing.
Sarah - it's was painful.
Henry - yeah I know it was painful. That's why I stayed here with u through out
Sarah - I don't like it when u miss class because of me
Henry - that's nothing compared to what I can do for u.
Sarah gasped.
Sarah - what do u mean by that.
Roy was still watching them through the window unknown to them. ...
Henry - u mean u don't know. It simply means I can jump an ocean for u
Sarah - u aren't serous. That's impossible (smiling )
Henry - what's impossible.
Sarah - coming an ocean of course.

Henry - there is nothing I can't do for u. Jump an ocean, cross a bridge, climb mountains.
Sarah - can. U stop exaggerating

Sarah stood up from the bed and sat down

Sarah looked confused.

Henry looked down

Roy gasped. What the hell.

Henry suddenly became scared to say yes. He doesn't know how Sarah will react, her voice was even shaking To ask me. What if she gets mad and stay away from me, what If their good relationship ends.
Sarah - Henry answer me (her u
Eyes looking scared ) u said u will jump an ocean for me, what does that mean. Henry Henry
Henry looked up at Sarah and smiled
Sarah's heart skipped
Roy - damn it. I can't stay here
I don't think I will be able to live or sleep well if this guy tell her that he likes her. I should get going.
Roy started walking away gently when he heard Henry saying
Henry - of course not.
Sarah breathe in
Roy couldn't believe he was so happy just because he said no.
Roy lifted his hands up and then down
Roy - yes (smiling uncontrollably)
Sarah - then why did u say u could climb mountains for me and all that
Henry - silly am joking (falsing a smile )
Sarah frowning
Sarah - all u said was a joke
Henry - yes I mean no. I can do all that for u.
Sarah smiled.
Sarah -really.
Roy -no no no I hope he doesn't say that word
Henry -of course what are friends for.
Henry stood up from his chair and hugged Sarah and she hugged him too.
Roy couldn't watch anymore. Although he was happy he didn't say he likes her but now he is hugging her. Just then Emily and Rhonda ran in
Emily saw them hugging and frowned
Rhonda - Sarah.
They shocked and release each other immediately.
Sarah - yes (acting shy)
Rhonda -emily said u got injured .and u werent in class so me and Emily came here. Emily -we thought u might be here ( trying hard to hide her anger) They came closer.
Henry -yes I bought her here
Rhonda - and u missed classes just for her .
Henry nodded and Emily looked at him
Rhonda - u must be a really good friend to Sarah to sacrifice such a thing. Everyone including Sarah looked at him Henry smiled .
Emily - Sarah please excuse me I will be right back.
She said and started walking out.
Sarah -ok.
Henry - I will live u guys to talk for a while.
They both nodded.
Henry left.
Henry saw Emily throwing stones at the walls and screaming . She was few km far away from the skul clinic. He ran to meet her.
Henry - Emily he called.
She turned and was shocked to see him.
Henry - what's wrong? U have been acting strange lately. Are u OK? Emily nodded looking away from Henry.
Henry took her head and look at her eyes
Henry - are u crying? What happened?
Emily quickly grabbed Henry and started hugging him as she cry her eyes out. Henry patted her head
Henry - it's OK Emily it's OK.
She continued to cry.

Rhonda blushes
Sarah -see u are even blushing. I saw the way u were smiling at him. And the way u look at him it was like those romantic movies. Rhonda blushed and looked away

Henry - don't u want to tell me
Emily - it's nothing.
Henry - OK then I will be going back to the class.
Emily held his hand.
Emily -no wait.
Henry turned
Henry - then tell me why u are crying.
Emily - I was only crying because I remembered my best friend Bonny. She died when we were 12
Henry - really?
Emily - we were very close. Like sisters, we loved each other a lot but she left me. Today was the day she left me.
Henry - am sorry..
Emily - don't be. Am OK now thanks for caring.
Henry - don't worry u will have new and good best friend.
Emily saw that Sarah and Rhonda was walking up to meet them so she quickly grabbed Henry and hugged him
Henry - do u still feel like crying.
Emily - please stay here with me. Am safe around u ( using a cracky voice)
Sarah and Rhonda looked at each other and then at Emily and Henry who was hugging.
Henry didn't know that Sarah was there looking at him in shock.

The Honeymoon
Episode 6
"Did you just slap my bride?" Dayo thundered.
. "Yes I did and I will do it again" Faith retorted, not bothered about the damage she just caused for the new couple. A lot of things went through Dayo's mind at the same time. He shut his eyes tight in a bid to bottle up the anger that was rushing through the whole of his being
. He threw both hands on his head and stamped his foot at the same time in an aggressive manner. He opened his eyes in a flash and turned sharply to Faith "now you have done your worst, leave this minute and never return to my life again, I regret the day I met you", he roared.
"Sho? Na so e easy?" Faith replied non nonchalantly and sank into the seat next to her. She crossed her legs, flinged a few strands of the braids across her face to the back of her head, not feeling a bit concerned about what Dayo just said.
Foluke stood up, still holding on to her cheek, refusing to believe that what just happened was not a dream. Slowly, she moved away from the scene, and walked towards the elevator. She has no strength to climb the stairs at the moment. Too many things happened to her just at once
. The shock was too much for her to bear, she felt dizzy, her inner strength failed her, she wished she never got married in the first place and wondered who placed a curse on her on her wedding day...
Dayo leapt after her as she moved away, she saw him coming from the corner of her eyes. Dayo approached her and held her hand, "I am sorry Foluke, you can put the blame on me okay, are you alright? He pleaded.
"Get out of my sight" Foluke said in a soft whisper, snatching her hand from him, "I have had enough", she responded trying to suppress the tears welling up again but she couldn't, they flowed freely.
This time, Dayo was the one who felt so sorry. He felt as if a sledge hammer had been used to shatter his heart to pieces. His bride doesn't really deserve this kind of embarrasment . Foluke exited the ground floor through the elevator. Dayo stood for some seconds not decided about what to do first- whether to console his bride or deal with the idiot in the restaurant. He went for the latter option; turning sharply, he approached the restaurant in fury, he needed to get rid of the trash he brought into his life with his own hands.
"Faith!" He shouted at the loath-some figure before him, "what have I done to deserve this great wickedness of yours? Is it a crime to be your friend in the first place? Must you be the one I will marry? You must be from the pit of hell like my wife rightly said and I will never forgive you for this."
"Hold on sweet, calm your nerves, has she gone to pack her loads?" Faith asked expectantly. "You must be mad!" Dayo replied with so much hatred in his voice. "So that was your mission afterall?" To frustrate my wife to leave? You lie! It is obvious that you are sent from the devil himself, I rebuke you."
Faith stood and walked up to Dayo where he was standing, she whispered into his right ear in a seductive manner: "Sweet heart, even if you will not marry me, I won't allow that lady to stay married to you too. It's either me or no one else! What happened between us that night is what I will never forget and I will never let go of you as long as I breathe..."
"Then you should cease to breathe you demon! " Dayo interrupted her angrily.
"Hahahaha!" Faith laughed and added, "your wish won't come through my King, just marry me and you will have peace."
Just then, the security men entered. Dayo quickly beckoned to them to get rid of Faith. She struggled with the men but in a jiffy, she was bundled out of the hotel. "I shall be back Dayo!" She screamed over her shoulders, "I promise."
"May I never set my eyes on you again", he cursed under his breath.
He turned slowly and headed towards the stairs to face the wrath of his wife..

"BEAUTY IS NOT ENOUGH"
David picked up his phone and called Margret (the lady he wants to marry)
"Hello! Margret, am in my family house now. You can come over let me introduce you to my mum."
Margret was happy, she jumped on her bed.
*"Is your mum at home now?"*
She asked with a lot of excitement. Trusting that David's mum will accept such a beautiful girl like her.
"She went to the market in town but she will be back shortly. Please hurry up and come over."
She threw her phone on the bed, picked up her towel and rushed to her bathroom.
*45 MINUTES LATER*
She was seated in a bus. The bus conductor was still calling for more passengers.
A woman in her mid fifties walked in to the bus.
*"please my daughter let me sit close to the door while you shift in because of my load, please" said the woman.*
Margaret replied
*"Madam abeg no disturb me oh, I first you enter this bus oh. If you no fit sit down for inside you better go find another bus."*
The mid fifty woman felt embarrassed, but she didn't utter any more words.
She squeezed herself in and sat down quietly.
*35 MINUTES LATER...*
"Oya make una come down sharp sharp" said the bus conductor.
They've gotten to the final bus stop.
Margret and the woman were standing under the sun waiting for bike.
Suddenly a bike came their way. They both beckoned on the bike man at the same time
"Okada!"
The bike man took a reverse and Margaret rushed towards the bike while the woman came behind her.
*"please, my daughter let me enter the bike because of my load, am expecting a guest soon and I have to go and put something on the fire for my visitor please."* Said the woman.
Margaret looked at her angrily and said
*"Madam, them send you come for me this afternoon? Abeg ooo tell them say you no see me oh!"*
She entered the bike and the bike man drove-off to her destination.
She got to David's family house, David gave her a warm embrace.
"I believe my mum will like you, who will reject such a beautiful girl like you?"
Margaret smiled believing David's mum will love her, after all she's a beautiful girl.
They were both seated waiting for David's mum.
David's mum walked into the sitting room, and to her greatest surprise she saw the same lady that spoilt her day sitting on her chair.
"David, what is this mannerless thing doing in my house?"
"Ah! Mum, she's the girl I talked to you about" he protested looking confused.
Margaret was already soaked in shame.
Her hands and toes were already vibrating.
David's mum explained all that happened to her son.
David was so disappointed at Margaret. And that was the end of their relationship.
Margaret soaked her pillows with tears that night, her bad character has destroyed her.

Principal -sarah will resume skul tomorrow.
The bell rang.
For class to begin.
Principal left and a teacher came in.
Everyone couldn't wait for break to begin so they can discuss about what just happened. .. ####
Sarah was just walking around the house. She doesn't have friend to talk to. She has cleaned everything in the house that there is nothing left to do. And the worst part is that there is no power supply for her to watch movie. ####
Betty couldn't cry she was shocked that Nancy and Sophia betrayed her, denied her after she thought they were best friends. Principal Naya called Betty's mum and told her everything so her mum told the driver to come pick Betty up. The driver drove in.
Betty -gosh why is he just coming.
He opened the door for Betty to go in.
She went and sat down.
Heading home now
Betty -why are u just coming to pick me up.
Driver - e never tae when madam call me to come and pick u up
Betty - and so didn't u know that I was tired of waiting for you to come over and pick me. Driver - madam nor vex.
Na traffic cause am.
Betty -i don't care if it's traffic or not, next time hurry up I don't like waiting for people , either u fly over the other cars or whatever, u must do whatever it's takes to come early. Is that clear
Driver -yes ma'am.
After driving for a while they got home.
Betty went to her room changed her uniform to her other outfit and went to the living room.

Betty sat on her couch and couldn't believe that Naomi have the nerves to talk back at her.

Everyone is just disrespecting me anyhow.
Sophia denied me. It's isn't more shocking than Nancy also denying me. Just because of Sarah I got suspended for the first time ever and it was all Roy's fault. Roy told principal Naya everything. I will make sure he pays.
Just then Betty's mum came in.
Betty ran to meet her

Her mum was frowning
Betty's mum -what is wrong with u Betty why on earth would you destroy ur principals office.
Betty - it's it's because
Betty's mum -thats despicable. I never trained u to be a destroyer.
Why did u do such a thing and got suspended.
Betty -mummy it's because of a girl named Sarah that I told u about
Betty's mum went into the sitting room and sat on the couch and so did Betty
Betty -mum Roy likes her
Betty's mum -how many times do I have to tell u that no matter who Roy likes u both will end up getting married. Don't u hear me when I said it
Betty - but mum she made me do it. I was jealous and I wanted her out of the skul so I destroyed principal Naya office and blamed Sarah

A tall pretty lady in her late twenties walked into the restaurant. She was such a beautiful figure to behold that those who were in the restaurant couldn't help but stare. Dayo who was still on his feet was the first to speak up. "What the hell are you doing here?"
She smiled at him revealing a perfect set of white teeth, then frowned almost immediately. She clapped her hands together thrice and replied "Heheeeheee! Wetin my eyes no go see for inside this world?" Foluke looked up sharply, more surprised about the lady's use of 'Pidgin English' than the curiosity of who she was.
. "The lady looked too beautiful than what she's vomiting", Foluke thought then spoke up.
"Sweetheart, who is she?"
"Stay out of this Foluke", Dayo replied calmly.
"Faith, I said what are you doing here? Dayo demanded.
"Eeenhenh? I heard that you were getting married but 'I talk say na lie'. I doubted it Dayo, so I travelled all the way down to confirm and it is so
. 'So you think say you fit dump me like that? E no go dey easy o my Bobo.' I am not a trash Dayo, that thing you called wedding that was held yesterday, 'na yeye one be that. Na now-now the real wedding go take place!'
"Between who and who?" Dayo interrupted her.
"Me and you of course', Faith answered still fuming with anger.
"So, I am not the culprit here after all", Foluke thought in her mind, "but who is this lady?"
Dayo's voice interrupted her thoughts, "will you get out of here this minute or I shall call the security", Dayo shouted.
"Call security for who?" Faith retorted. "After you have used me, you think you can dump me for this Idiot?
Foluke rose to her feet immediately and addressed Faith. "Listen young woman, I can't stay here and have you insult me and my husband okay? Whatever transpired between you two was in the past, so please leave this minute."
"And who do you think you are to be the Judge in this case?" Faith shouted. "Good question!" Foluke replied confidently, I am his lawfully wedded wife", she showed Faith her wedding ring.
"Will you both stop this madness?" Dayo pleaded
"Oh! Don't be silly, Faith replied ignoring Dayo. "You want to settle down with this cheat, this liar?"
"Yea! Because I married him for better, for worse!" Foluke answered positively.
"I can bet it with you, you can never enjoy your marriage with him, he belongs to me alone", Faith emphasized.
"I reject it in Jesus name! My marriage will be blissful." Foluke declared. "You are the one that will go back to hell where you belong, you daughter of Jezebel!
'Paaaah!' Faith landed a resounding slap on her face. 'You dey craze. You think I am here to joke?'
Foluke cried out in pain, fresh tears running down her cheeks. "What is this Oh God! Barely 24 hours in my marriage?" She whimpered.
The restaurant workers came closer to intervene, one of them quickly dialed the number of the security while the rest awaited the reaction of the groom...
Poor Foluke, what do you advise her to do? If you were in her shoes, what will you do?

THE HONEYMOON
Episode 4
Foluke spoke again. "I am sorry Dayo, it is not as if I had sex like that but there was this thing that happened to me when I was a child, around nine years or so, I was too naive to know that it could have led to me being deflowered."
"Really?" Dayo answered absent mindedly.
"Dayo please believe me," Foluke continued, "I am telling you the truth.
. I was too young to understand then but I sensed everything was not just right as at the time I was going through the experience."
"My family stayed in a 'face to face' apartment at that time. I had to stay alone at home for some weeks because I just finished my Common Entrance Examination and was awaiting admission into Junior Secondary School
. Our neighbour's son, Ade was also in the same shoes with me, so both of us were left at home after our parents would have gone to their various workplaces.
My mother was a cleaner at a Bank a little bit far away from home while my Dad was a Driver at a table water factory. Ade's mother was no longer living with her husband. She left him some years back after a major quarel taking Ade's younger siblings with her
. Ade was a very good and obedient boy, so both of us got along. His own father worked as a security man at a nearby plastic manufacturing company.
It happened that the very week myself and Ade started staying back at home, Ade's Dad was on night duty all through meaning he was always at home with us during the day before my parents would be back from work.
Unfortunately, Ade's Dad took advantage of me.
In the afternoons, after he might have returned from work, he would send Ade on errands and call me into their apartment under the guise of wanting to send me on an errand too. The very first day it happened, he locked the door, ramove my cloth and inserted his fingers in my privates, and told me that the place was dirty and was cleaning me up. As small as I was, I felt it wasn't right, I dressed hurriedly and hastened to leave. He threatened me never to tell anyone. I kept mute over the matter.
The following day and the day after, the same thing happened. I was hurting and determined to tell my mother. When he called on me on the fifth day, I bolted the door of our room and shouted from within that I would tell my mum, but he went to the window and quietly threatened to kill me if I ever told anyone about it, showing me his gun, the one he used at his workplace. I went mute out of fear and cried silently."

Sarah went she opened the door and it was opened. She saw the key in the door and just pushed it open.

Everything was in a mess, the principal office was upside down all her papers, documents and all were scattered all over. The chairs, desk were destroyed. Some of her documents has been pieced.
Sarah - I thought she called me. What happened here.
Gosh should I go out or help her arrange them.
Sarah ran out then stopped.
Sarah -what if she called me here to arrange them. I can't run away it isn't proper.
She went in and started picking her documents first but stopped and saw a hammer. She was shocked to see hammer in her office.

Just then principal Naya came in a rush...
Principal - what the heck. What happened to my office (she yelled)

The Honeymoon
Episode 3
Foluke ended the call before her mum could question her further. She jumped out of bed, changed into a short gown and walked out of the room in search of her husband. Immediately she opened the door, she saw her husband, Oladayo pacing the corridor of the hotel rooms. He had being loitering around the corridor all these while, undecided about where to go. He started walking towards the stairs immediately he sighted his bride
. "My husband!" Foluke called running along. "Please wait", she said in a loud whisper not wanting to disturb the guests in the other rooms. Her husband kept walking down the stairs towards the ground floor, not willing to start a conversation with her.
Foluke's mum kept dialing her number but she wasn't picking up.
Dayo turned to the hotel restaurant, Foluke followed. They both sat at a table.
. Dayo's face was blank, he looked past his wife and glued his eyes on the T.V in the restaurant, ignoring her presence as if she was a lifeless figure.
After some minutes, Foluke held her husband's hands and said silently "I think I can explain." Dayo snatched his hands from her as if he had touched a hot pot.
"So you have an explanation all along? Yet you pretended as if you were surprised about the whole thing. What else will you explain? Enh? Tell me
. "Oh Dayo, I was drugged and someone raped me in the process?" Abi? Dayo ranted on. Look here lady, I will never fall for such a deceit. I won't be bought by that!" He shouted.
Foluke looked at her husband of 24hours, she had never seen him this angry before, tears started streaming down her eyes again. Dayo didn't look like he cared, he felt betrayed, cheated and hurt.
"Oladayo please listen to me", Foluke called out after some minutes of perfect silence. "I never meant to betray you, I have loved you since I met you, what would I have gained from telling lies that will hurt you and destroy our marriage? I have always been a virgin, no man has ever seen my unclothedness in my entire life except you just this morning. I have kept myself all through".
"Oh really? So how else can you explain what happened back there?" Dayo snapped.
"Please Dayo listen. There is this thing that kept flashing through my mind since you left the room and I kept wondering if it could have been the cause. Though I have never told you about it before."
Dayo shot her an angry look, "So you think this is the best time to start unraveling your dirty past? Why not during courtship? You deceived me into marrying you Foluke, I will never forgive you for injuring the trust I have in you."
One or two tear drops escaped from his eyes. Foluke was the only woman he had loved in his entire life, he wondered why she betrayed him. Foluke noticed the tears, she felt so bad, her heart was broken to see her husband cry and the fact that she was the cause made it too heavy for her to bear.

Episode 2
Foluke met Oladayo during her third year in the University. She was the kind of girl that almost every guy that came in contact with will never want to let go. She is of an average height and a beautiful countenance, quiet but firm. Though she was an average student, yet one of the most respected in her department because of her strong moral principles
. She loved and served God all through her University days. She never had a love relationship because she purposed in her heart not to do so until she graduated from the University.
Her decision changed when she met Dayo.
Oladayo was then a 500 level Civil Engineering Student
. They had met at a Seminar held in honour of the graduating students that very year. Dayo was so much interested in Foluke the very moment he set his eyes on her. He had never been in a relationship too but was really attracted to her. They exchanged contact and started their friendship. Though, they had no strings attached at first, but they gradually became so fond of each other that they both became an Item on campus.
Not long after, Dayo graduated and went for his National Youth Service in one of the South-Southern states of Nigeria. Nevertheless, he kept in touch with Foluke all through. The day he finally proposed marriage to her was the happiest day of his life because Foluke immediately accepted to marry him
. Theirs was a holy courtship. He was a virgin and he looked forward to his wedding night with Foluke.
A year after his proposal, Foluke completed her NYSC programme and a year later, they had a beautiful wedding, a dream come true!

Foluke paced through the hotel room for some minutes. She tried calling her husband's number but it wasn't getting through. 'Where on earth could he have gone to?' She thought. What is supposed to be a joyful honeymoon has suddenly turned to an episode of tears for her. She resumed her crying again. Just then, a thought flashed through her mind.
"Could that be?" She asked herself.
"No, it can't", she continued in her thoughts, shaking her head vigorously. She wasn't really sure of her thoughts.
She reached for her phone and dialled her mum's number. "Mommy! Please come over, my marriage is on Fire!" She screamed into the phone.
"Which marriage are you talking about Foluke?" Her mother asked in alarm...

"What a glorious day!" Dayo sighed as he led his newly wedded wife into the elevator that would take them to the room they booked for their honeymoon in one of the finest hotels in town. They just left the hall of their wedding reception which was about 30 minutes drive from the hotel. Foluke smiled back at her husband and yawned, "Oh! I am so tired, I danced so much with those high heels like there is no tomorrow! She said and yawned again.
"Hey! Sweetheart", her husband replied, "do not tell me that you are too tired to fulfil your promise, we had a deal remember? We both agreed to have a vigil tonight in order to commit this marriage into God's hands".
"Yea, I do remember", Foluke answered tiredly, "Let's get to bed on time, we will wake up at exactly 2:00 am for the prayers. "Alright then", her husband agreed.
They got into their hotel room, had a shower and later ate the Jollof rice that Foluke's mum packed for them for dinner.
. Afterwards, they went on their knees and prayed to God, thanking HIM for the success of their wedding, and thereafter went to sleep. They had both agreed not to have sex on their wedding night but instead decided to dedicate that night to a series of fervent prayers committing the journey of their marriage into God's hands.
They actually made good their plan. Foluke's alarm woke them up at exactly 2:00 am as earlier scheduled. Foluke led the songs of Praise while Dayo led the prayers. They prayed till around 4:30am after which they went to the bathroom, this time around together to have a shower. They both felt shy seeing each other's unclothedness for the first time ever since they met. One thing led to the other and they had sex that very morning.
"What is this Foluke?" Dayo queried his bride. "I expected you to bleed being your first time," he continued trying to suppress his anger.
"I...I...I actually thought I should too" Foluke stammered, trying to fight back the tears that clouded her eyes.
"Liar!" her husband barked at her. "Ha-ha, why are human beings like this? If you had told me you were not a virgin, I would still have proposed marriage to you anyways, but why lying? I hate this kind of attitude, I hate it!" He yelled.
"But I didn't lie", Foluke cried. "God is my witness, I just don't understand..."
"Shut up! You shameless prostitute, bloody liar! I loved and trusted you, is this how you repay my innocent love? Do I deserve this betrayal?"
"But Honey, please believe me, I am a virgin, I swear to God".
"Will you keep quiet? Dayo screamed in anger. Your not being a virgin is not the issue I have but the fact that you lied to me and you are still lying right now".
"Noooooo!" Foluke continued crying...
It was 7:00am already. Dayo changed into a casual wear and stormed out of the room in anger.
"Dayo please wait, let's sort this out, Pleeeeaaaase."
Foluke was devastated. "God, how come my honeymoon is turning into a nightmare all of a sudden? But why didn't I bleed? I thought virgins do bleed during their first sex, What has happened to meeeeee?" She continued talking to herself. Oh God! Have mercy, I don't want to lose my husband's trust. God, I just prayed to you this morning that you be the driver of my marriage, Holy Spirit, please soften the heart of my husband and take control.
She cried bitterly on the bed, checking the bed sheet again, hoping to see traces of blood that could restore her hope but the sheet was as white as wool!

Emily picked up Sarah and she started discussing with her unlike yesterday when she was angry . Almost close to the skul gate Emily apologized to Sarah for her behavior yesterday, she told her that she was angry with someone and took it out on her. Which we all know wasn't true Emily was actually jealous of Sarah because of Henry.
They got down from the car And saw Rhonda. So three of them went to the class.
As usual Sarah went to her seat and so did the others. Roy and Henry came to class early today.
Roy was sitting and thinking about Sarah.

How can I amend my way with Sarah, first of all I made Betty slap her, secondly she was humiliated in my front and I didn't do anything to stop Betty, I haven't even apologized yet Betty came to hug me. I still don't get why she did that. I still remember the way Sarah looked at me with disgust. I know she won't forgive me so easily. I looked at her and she was laughing and talking with Henry.
I felt angry immediately. I don't know what's wrong with me, I don't know if I like Sarah or not but I do know that I don't like her getting hurt and I get angry anytime I see her with Henry. I don't know what to do. Should I get close to her and create more trouble for her or I should just leave her in peace. Gosh I am confuse and Betty isn't making things easier for me. I looked at Betty's seat and she wasn't there. I wonder where she is. I pray she doesn't come to skul today so that I can talk to Sarah and apologize.

Gosh that Sarah is laughing anyhow with Henry I should be the one right now with him, laughing or joking around with him not her. She is just a naive village girl. How can Henry fall for her and not me. I have been trying to get his attention for years now but it doesn't seem to work.

Brian entered the library. Looking tensed and angry. He went to the chemistry section to just pick a book to read to get his mind off things. He was walking too fast and wasn't looking forward. He accidentally hit Rhonda and she almost fell but he caught her

Rhonda-i would have if I fell but I didn't so am not angry.

Just then Henry came back and saw that Betty and her friends were gathering Sarah. He walked quickly to meet her and was really shocked to see Sarah defend herself.

Just then Roy came and saw that a commotion was going on. He knew that it must be Betty. He went closer and his mouth git wide open.
Betty-if not? What can a village girl like u do.
Sarah saw Henry smiling at her. She got more courage

Betty looked stunned

Sarah picked up Betty's , Sophia's and Nancy bag which they kept on her desk, she picked them one by one and threw them on the floor with anger.
Betty , Sophia and Nancy opened their mouth and wiped their eyes to know if they were swing clearly.
She stepped on each of them bag and mostly step on Betty's bag and crushed them with her foot and went to meet Henry. Then they both left the hall.
Emily frowned when she saw that Betty and Henry were walking together in front if crowd.
Betty and her friend mouth opened wide.
Everyone in the hall started calping for Sarah. She smiled and continued walking majestically with both happiness and freedom
With Henry. She saw Roy smiling and looking at her. She just gave him a glance and looked other way. Betty mouth was still wide open and so was Sophia's and Nancy. Students started laughing at Betty and her friends.
Betty eyes brought out a tear which she quickly cleaned so no one will notice it.
She saw Roy standing in one corner. She ran to meet him and hugged him.
Roy pushed her away and walked out on her.
Everyone started laughing and pointing at Betty.
Betty knelt down and didn't know when tears started gushing from her eyes. She cried and cried and cried.....

Queen on seeing that giving her life to God was the solution to her problem also repented and surrendered all to God and was delivered of her baby there and then in the Church. All attempts to get Asha to turn away from her prostituting ways proved abortive. Do not be discouraged because people are probably laughing at you or talking behind you because of your job or handwork. In due time, God will cause you to eat of the fruit of your labour and those people who laughed at you will come to you to seek for jobs. Sarah couldn't stop crying her eyes continued to pour out tears
Betty Crocker has already finished eating her food so she came out of the hall. And saw Henry hugging Sarah. She chuckled and decided to pass them.
Then she saw Roy who came out of a class opposite Sarah and he saw them hugging. Immediately he got mad and he frowned his face and Betty knew that he was angry. So she made a plan.
She ran to meet Roy making sure that Sarah and Henry saw her.
Betty-roy baby (she screamed)
Roy looked at Betty and became more annoyed
She ran and hugged him.
Roy didn't know why Betty was hugging him but he knew that she had a plan and obviously is to make Sarah angry.

Sarah-i know but I can't help it. I fell like am obligated to do anything just to keep my scholarship.
Henry-i know everyone wants the opportunity to come to this school where president, governor, vice, senators and other wealthy people children attend. But u are here due to scholarship and this means that u have rights here
Sarah-what right do a poor girl like me have over people like Betty.
Henry-u have same rights as far u are in this school.

Sarah saw Betty's face laughing and laughing she quickly regained herself and ran out of the hall. And as she was running she hits someone mistakely. She looked up and it was Henry.

Sarah was just crying. He cleaned her eyes with his thumb but she hugged him and cried more. Henry was shocked at first but later he hugged her back and patted her back.

Mama Kelvin: “it is a trying time for all of us but then you have calm down and to be strong” she consoled her bewildered daughter in law. Queen: “don’t tell me to calm down”, she said suddenly losing her cool.” How can you be this wicked to another person’s child? How dare you deceive me into marriage with your son?” she asked anger building up in her throat. Mama Kelvin: “because you were already pregnant. I know how you young women of nowadays behave. If I had not begged you to keep the pregnancy, the next thing I would hear is that you have aborted it” she defended herself. Queen: “don’t give me that crap, woman. You were the one who told me to get pregnant for your son. As a matter of fact, you begged me to get pregnant for him. This was never my idea. You said you will get your son to marry me once I take in for him” Mama Kelvin: “haven’t I done that? Have you not done your traditional marriage” she asked trying to control her anger. Queen: “this was not the life I was promised. The man I got pregnant for is very rich not this Kelvin that has disappeared into thin air with all his properties getting confiscated” she said. Mama Kelvin: “all I know is that I have done my part by marrying you as promised. You have to stay in this house and manage till your husband returns. She barely had enough to eat and drink and the strain from the pregnancy was already telling on her. She had gone to live with Asha in their house but the agency that managed the property had kicked them out for failure to pay their fees. Queen couldn’t go back to her parents’ house for shame and Asha, used to her extravagant lifestyle took to prostituting with different men every night. She lived in a cheap hotel in town and walked the streets of Abuja half naked and waiting for men to pick her. Seeing that Queen was nothing but a burden to her, she had abandoned her and told her never to call her for anything again. Queen felt alone and deserted. Even her mother in law could not help much for the woman was struggling to feed herself. Queen was in the house thinking of how she had fallen from grace to grass when she heard someone banging on the main gate. She was surprised, because she had no friends or relations who visited her. The only person that would visit her was her mother in law and the woman never banged on the door that violently. Suddenly, she thought of the bank that had said they will come and confiscate the property if Kelvin didn’t pay up the loan he took from them and her heart flew to her mouth. She got up and went to the door and almost screamed when she saw an unkempt man with beards and tattered clothes standing before her. Queen: “yes, how can I help you” she asked since she could not recognize him. “It is me, Kelvin” he said. As soon as Queen heard his voice, her head began to spin and she had to hold on to the gate for support. Kelvin entered the compound and walked past her into the room without saying a word. Queen: “my God what happened to you, Kelvin? Why are you looking this unkept, are you sick” she asked all at once. Kelvin: “don’t you dare come close to me, you daughter of Eve. How dare you talk to me when you were the one who got me into this mess? I hate you and I will forever hate you” he cursed. Queen: “look at me, Kelvin. I am carrying your child and I have suffered so much ever since you went away” she said but Kelvin got up and grabbed her by the neck and began to choke her. “cursed be you and the cursed thing you have in your womb. I was enjoying my life until you came and ruined everything. I hate you so much” he barked. She tried to ease out of his hold as she was struggling for air but he held on to her tightly. She began to scream when she felt she was running out of air for his tight grip was choking her wind pipe. Just then, his mother who was coming to check on her entered the room. Mama Kelvin: “who is this mad man that wants to kill the mother of my unborn grandchild?” she said and rushed at him. She stopped in her track when Kelvin released Queen and turned around. “my..my son?” she asked, unable to believe her eyes. Kelvin: “yes, it is me mum. Are you happy with the way you have made me now? I was on my own and you came around asking that I get married. I tried to explain to you that marriage is not for me but you wouldn’t listen, now see where it has landed me” he said tears streaming down his eyes. Mama Kelvin: “I don’t understand what you mean by I am the cause of all that has happened to you. What is wrong with a woman advising her son to get married and have children? Is it not someone that gave birth to you?” She was still speaking when Kelvin began to display elements of madness. He tore his shirt and began to tear at his beard. Then he removed his trousers and was about to remove his boxers when his mother held his tight he began to laugh hysterically and soon he was running round the sitting room with mother and wife trying to control him to no avail. HAD_I_KNOW * Episode 23 * Queen tried to get in touch with Kelvin all to no avail. His numbers were switched off and he would not reply his messages on all his social media accounts. Two months had already passed since she met him and since then she had missed her monthly period. She was still engrossed in deep thoughts when Asha who had been in the bathroom came out and began to get dressed. Asha: “what happened? Why are you looking this dull? I don’t understand you these days again o” she rightly observed. Queen: “I am just confused” she said turning to face her friend. Asha: “What for? Anyway, I ran into an old university friend of ours yesterday and we got talking. She told me that she attended Mercy’s wedding and that it was glamorous. I even heard that Mercy and her husband travelled abroad last month courtesy of their state governor who rewarded her for returning 10 million naira that was mistakenly paid into her account” she said cleaning her face with cotton bud and facial cleanser. Queen: “Lucky them” she said indicating lack of interest. Asha: “can you imagine that Mercy and her husband now travel abroad and we are still here with nobody asking for our hand in marriage. What a world” Queen: “Asha, can you just stop talking about Mercy and her husband? Stop tormenting me for God’s sake” she shouted. Asha: “what was the outburst for? Are you okay girlfriend?” Queen: “I think I am pregnant o” she said quietly. Asha: “pregnant? How? Who is responsible?” she said going to sit beside her friend. Queen: “stop asking silly questions. You know that Kenny was the last man I had unprotected sex with” Asha: “wow! Congratulations, dear” she hugged her affectionately. Queen: “what is wrong with this one? Congratulations for what?” Asha: “I thought you have always wanted to take in for Kelvin? This calls for a celebration, let’s go out and pump Champagn” Queen: “you still don’t get it? Is this not the same Kelvin that threw you and I out of the house after he discovered that we made love? Have you forgotten that incidence so soon?” Asha: “that is true o. But I am sure that he would be happy to hear that you are carrying his child. Just inform him about it” Queen: “that is the problem. I have tried to reach him all to no avail. I called him but his numbers has been switched off. I sent him messages on WhatsApp, Skype and even Facebook but he will not reply” she said sadly. Asha: “then go to his house” she suggested. Queen: “you want me to go to his house after the embarrassment that he gave me that day? I have made up my mind to go to that house only as a wife. That is the only way I can hold my head high among his domestic staff who saw how I was disgraced that day” Asha: “well, you have to drop your pride and ego and go there. As least for the sake of your unborn child” she pleaded with her. Queen: “okay, will you go with me? I would your moral support” Asha moved away from her as if she was some plague. “I cannot go back to that house again o. That Kelvin can kill somebody with his slap. It took me more than three weeks to hear with my ear after he slapped me. Abeg count me out” Queen: “I am done for it” Asha: “see, babe. Stop brooding as if pregnancy is the end of the world. You and I have been pregnant several times before and we took care of it. Let us go out and relax, if Kelvin doesn’t come around, we shall take care of the pregnancy before it becomes noticeable” Queen: “where exactly are we going? Asha so you are not tired of going out and sleeping with men for money?” Asha: “When there is no job for us, what do you expect me to do? It is no longer news that I am a confirmed prostitute. There she met and slept with a man who promised to renew her rent which had expired. She called him the next day to remind him but a woman picked up the phone and after giving her the insult of her life, she threatened to kill her if she ever called the number again. ===== 3 months after Queen got in touch with Kelvin’s mother to inform her of the pregnancy, the woman went with her people and paid Queen’s bride price in an elaborate traditional marriage ceremony even though Kelvin was nowhere to be found. The woman had informed Queen’s people that her son was on a course in the USA and that he had mandated her to do the needful on his behalf and take his wife home since she was already carrying their child. Although Queen’s parents had their reservation about the arrangement, they had no option but to approve when their daughter threatened to kill herself if they prevented her traditional wedding. The next day, Queen and Kelvin’s mother returned home to his house. This time around, Queen noticed a fore brooding in the house with everywhere looking unkept and quiet. Queen: “ah-ah, where are all these domestic staff? So because my husband has been outside the country for months, they will not do their jobs again abi? They have me to contend with” she said as soon as she stepped into Kelvin’s mansion with his mother. Mama Kelvin: “you need to calm down and allow me discuss with you” she said ignoring Queen’s rants. Queen sat down immediately when she saw how serious the woman had sounded. Mama Kelvin: “you will notice that there was no security man when we got here, I had to come down from the car and open the gate myself” she started to say until Queen interrupted. Queen: “yes, don’t mind those useless security people. Only God knows where they went to abandoning their duty post. I will deal with them when they return. If they think they can behave anyhow because my husband is outside the country, then they are in for surprises” Mama Kelvin: “will you allow me talk?” Queen: “okay, ma” she said cursing the old woman in her heart. Mama Kelvin: “there is no security man and there are no domestic staff anymore. In fact, the story that my son is outside the country for a course is false. I had to say that so that your people will accept your bride price and give us your hand in marriage” Queen: “What! Excuse me ma but I do not understand you. The last time I was here, this house was overflowing with servants and security personnel. What happened to all of them? And what do you mean by Kelvin is not on a course in America? Where is he?
