Let apply simple logical reason to this allegation; let assume that this allegation is true and Tinubu was offered a VP slot and a northern the President slot. Please can these individuals alleging all these answer the following questions: 1. What will Jonathan gain from this arrangement after relinquishing power to the north? 2. The constitution has no provision for interim govt and so, how will it come about? 3. Is Jonathan going to head the interim government and Tinubu the Vice? That's dead on arrival. 4. A greedy man like Tinubu will surely jump at this juicy offers. VP, corner all senatorial seats in southwest with N200billion. I beg check na? This is a cheap lie from the bottom of hell to blackmail PDP and get more votes from the gullible ones. APC is a shameless party. An association of professional criminals, 3 Likes 2 Shares |

I think it's a face saving measure by the Americans. The rag-tag army who are ill equipped, unmotivated and poorly trained that can't defeat Boko haram is today dealing a very heavy blow on the same terrorist. That's how the Americans described our army. My people believe that America reason for not deploying troops is because nigeria has a government. Anyone that believe such bullshit can believe anything and suffering from serious ignoramus. My people don't believe anything until you verify from various independent sources and u feel right about it and read history. History will unlock a lot of u truthfulness in today's world. The Americans not knowing what to say just had to say something for the occasion. if they were so effective why is Isis still expanding their territories? Please fight for your nation. Our Journalist will certain destroy this nation with their half-truth and speculation. The work of a journalist is a very tasking one that must not be handled with levity. The need to report the truth at all times is sacrosanct; the trust of the public must be jealously guarded. Misleading the public with untrue publication, propaganda and speculation must be done away with. The journalist must confirm his stories before publishing them. Gen. Agwai is a well respected military officer who rose to the pinnacle of profession and also he has distinguished himself in various positions he has held. Until we hear from him or the Presidency on the reason for his disengagement, any other statements are mere speculation and journalist should refrain from publishing such. Are there elements of truth in the documentary the answer is yes and rather than the people screaming to high heaven of the rape, injustice and crime committed by Tinubu we go around supporting him. Hate truly blinds. Apc supporters have allowed politics to block their reasoning and they say foolish things. If Buhari brings Nepa bill as certificate we will vote for him; now it's Tinubu despite the damaging revelation these supporters don't have the decency to call a spade a spade. The dialogue committee set up to negotiate with book haram. 3. The soldiers deserting their post and running away from boko haram due to poor equipment and sabotage. 4. The refusal of the western world led by the United states of American to sell arms to the Nigerians military and block sales from other Nations when possible. 5. The various moles in the military sabotaging the operations of the military. Deserting a well arm and fortified barracks to allow boko haram cart away the Nigerian army arsenals. 6. The military tribunal needed to restore discipline back to the military that indicted over a 100 soldiers. 7. The procurement and arrival of arms from Russia, china and other nations that resulted in the success being recorded. let support our president and Nation. Some evil forces are behind what is going on and they are almost succeeding with our help. I think, chad is only acting out a script. we have done more for this country that the current blackmail that they are trying to do. There comments including that of their President fall short of what is expected of any civilized society. I understand that they are closer to the people in the North and may be more sympathetic to them than the people in the south part of Nigeria. All these are just propaganda which will destroy the good relationship between both countries. We understand that Nigeria is the envy of its neighbours and it's so unfortunate that while over the years Nigeria has provided critical support to these countries in terms of financial, human resources but now that we need them to extend an helping hand of support to Nigeria, they are desperately trying to ridicule our country before the international community. It's truly sad that fellow Nigerians are happy with what is going on and cannot see the need to come together and condemn these acts against their nation. It's an international conspiracy to ridicule the Jonathan's administration to label him incompetent and also an accompli in the boko haram saga but it's not only Jonathan that's being ridicule but the entire nation. it's truly sad. Nigerians wake up and fight for the dignity of your nation. The big question, I keep asking myself is what is President Jonathan's offence and who did he offence? Nigerians stand as one and defense the dignity of your nation. Let stop exposing or ridiculing our Nation to the rest of the world no matter the issue. Jonathan's regime cannot be said to be worse than the Military regimes such as, IBB, Abacha, and the likes. We may fail to appreciate some of the good works the government has done but we must stop painting our Nation bad in the eyes of the international community. Chad is no match to Nigeria any day, anytime. Wake up guys!!!!! |
Science/Technology / Re: Egbema Power Plant In Pics by light004: 1:42pm On Mar 03, 2015 |
The is mere propaganda, to rubbish the hard work the government has done in the power sector. It's really sad that people harbor such mischief in their hearts. The power plant has neither been commissioned or mentioned anywhere as generating power to the national grid. Obviously, the government cannot build all the power plants at the same time but from the pictures shown, serious work has been carried out and further investigation reveals that the plant has also be slated for privatization and a preferred bidder has been selected with an agreed price of $415,075,000. If no serious work is on ground I don't think any firm will bid for the plant. There is so much misinformation and everyone needs to do a second check to confirm any information out there because politicians are so desperate to get votes by whatever mean. we really need to be careful. I really don't know the intention of the poster seriously. |

APC is full of lies and deceit. Shame on this useless party that ride on the ignorance of the majority of Nigerians to misinformation them and ultimately mislead them to vote for a group of thieves. They are too cheap; Nigerians don't deserve people like this. Do anyone need to explain that Saraki by his post just want to mislead the people with wrong information. The car is different from the fuel that helps to power it. There would have been an issue if the power plant of over 600mw wasn't actually built that there is currently non-availability of gas to power the plant doesn't mean that the plant is not working as Saraki alleged or if my car lack fuel with it be correct then to say that my car is not working. let exercise our thinking faculty and not allow these cheap blackmailers to continue to deceive us. |

Lose your sense of rationality and logic. 5. Insult the president and anyone that supports him 6. Lie that GEJ stole $49 billion. 7. Disagree with any event or post that portrays GEJ in a goodlight and agree with any event or post that portrays GEJ in a badlight. 8. Disagree with any event or post that portrays GMB in a badlight and agree with any post showing him in a goodlight. 6. I'm really shocked by some of the comments posted here. What's wrong is wrong and the truth will remain what it's despite the personality or circumstance. We must learn to focus on the issues and not personalities. Whether, it's buhari or jonathan we must be ready to stand up for the truth and be bold enough to confront falsehood wherever its comes. If a false report is out there whether on Jonathan or Buhari, we must come together and condemn such. Truly what goes around, comes around and we need to be very careful. Nothing can turn a lie into a truth and Sahara reporters has failed to stand up for what they vehemently condemn in others. The publication stinks to high heaven in term of deliberate falsehood and malicious reportage to tarnish the reputable of many individuals. The impact of their reportage on the country is worse, the destruction to our hard earn reputation as a nation cannot be estimated. They have lost all sense of professionalism and reduced journalism to speculation, hearsay and sensationalism. They have thrown ethics to the rubbish bins that no individual with high moral standing can allow itself to be associated with such low life junk publication outfit. This issue is beyond the govt of today, the opposition or coming election. Kindly, take an objective review of their online publications and find out the main motive for such publications. Is it for the upliftment of the society or destruction? or Is it to promote harmony among the people or set them against one another? I implore you to take a critical review of their publications. The main purpose of Journalism is the dissemination of information in an unbaised and professional manner for the well-being and development of the society. But, sahara's main purpose is simply to incite the people through misinformation, lies, speculations and propaganda. They come across as a group filled with hate and animosity. Please let be guided by justice, equity and fair play. Sahara cannot stand the test of time; it was build on lies and falsehood and will aso crumble with its originators and sponsors. 3 Likes |

We hold very serious responsibility for our actions and it place on us the inalienable duty to think deeply before accepting or rejecting what we hear. It's evidence that majority are not capable of this and they often move about like a lost voyage. It's incredible how gullible we are and how politicians play us like rooks On a chess board. Today government is suffering from a gross conspiracy by the western world and the elite class represented by former rulers, the Hausa Fulani and their stooges. No govt can succeed without the active support of its people especially the elite class because they represent the finest of everything in that society. Lies and propaganda supported by the west was used as a tool to destroy any credibility of this govt despite the giant strides made in this administration. I have heard people tell me it's not true Jonathan has done this or that and the facts are available everywhere including online for all to confirm. How come no one noticed the changes around them, simple the power of the media using lies and propaganda to feed the mind of the people. Propelled by the envy and the hate of the elite class to destroy a government that didn't acknowledge them and dared to change the status quo. Nigeria is truly at a cross road, whether to move forward or remain in shackles of the elite. The choice is open. The VP aspirant asked a valid question but he forgot that the trauma over the years has left the average Nigerian incapable of deep reasoning and so incapable of making rational judgement; thanks to the failed educational system. They can't make sense of anything any longer unless of course what directly benefit them, aka, stomach infrastructure. Too bad, my people are deceived by the day by the very people who professed to love and care for them in their lust for power. It's a known fact that an health corn seed that you put in the ground will first go rotten and decay before a new life comes out of it. Nigerians don't go back to the old embrace the new that offers freedom from oppression, prosperity for all and peaceful co-existence. Break away from the old that is filled with lies, oppression, deceit, disease and poverty. These are the choices before you and don't be blinded. It's a personal decision that you must make. Refuse to be deceived by the old, they had their opportunities but they decided to enrich themselves and cronies. Take your time to examine nigeria history up till this moment and you will be amazed what you will discover. I wish all Nigerians well. Vote wisely. |

Those that join the opposition to spread lies and propaganda are most often blinded by hate and they will never take their time to investigate or confirm the veracity of the news. Sanusi told us that $49billion is missing, I don't need an economist to tell me that it's a lie from the pit of hell. That the news was only meant to tag the government as corrupt. A little investigation will reveal the tissues of lies in sanusi's claims. What is our total earnings from oil export, the figures are available online. It's a shame that those who should know actually played along knowing fully well that sanusi's figures were highly exaggerated due to their hidden agenda. Soludo shameless came out also with N30trillion missing. How low can these people go just to bring down the president and I'm so curious to find out his true wrongs. |

Etcetera made a valid point and he shouldn't be insulted for expressing his views. Change for the sake of it doesn't make any sense, we can as well put a dog as president. There is a fundamental issue here that has to do with the law of the land and no man should be above the law. Perjury has been committed by lying under oath.
