Jeansmart86:The first thing is getting to the country don't you think? Forklift jobs abound in every country but let me tell you now it doesn't pay fantastic money(in the UK at least). Just a little over normal manual labour jobs which most immigrants start from no matter how educated you are. Or are you saying you want to apply for a forklift job from Nigeria? That's impossible. They have plenty of people that can do the job here so why will they recruit from another country? Plus you will have to get a licence from any country you want to work in. |

Romance / Re: IS THIS A GREEDY OR A WICKED GIRLFRIEND? by Londonboyrep(m): 11:08am On Oct 17, 2019 |
I don't understand why everyone is bashing this young man as to why he would buy an iPhone x for his woman or give her 50K monthly. Do you know his income? Money is relative to your income. 500 naira to you might be 5 million naira to someone else. The real problem, I think, is that the girl is either really wicked or not very smart. There are ways she would have gotten the monies back even without the guy relating or realizing that he actually paid for whatever little money he borrowed from her. So like I said its either she doesn't really care about him or she's foolish. We don't know the full details and she may very well think that this guy even spends way less on her than she deserves. I once had a girl who was like this and would never spend even a dime on me and I always paid for everything till I pointed this out and she said she thought African men don't like their women doing things for them (she's Asian). After then she spoilt me so much I felt very guilty for even raising the point because I know she was doing more than she could afford. @ OP Listen to your gut feeling and if you feel she's using you then she is. The story could be fake as well so my comment is based on the assumption that this is true. |

A self confessed cheat complaining that his girlfriend thinks he’s cheating. Not sure what advice you are after here young man. Do you want us to say she’s wrong for suspecting you of doing what you are actually doing? Whether she’s caught you red handed or not is irrelevant. Fact of the matter is anyone who’s being cheated on always has that gut feeling. Some act on the gut feeling without evidence and some wait for evidence before acting. No women who loves you will condone cheating so choose one. Would you prefer a woman who won’t notice your indiscretion because she’s busy covering her own tracks too or a woman who just wants you to be faithful? 3 Likes |

Until the government stops treating cultism, confraternity or whatever name they choose to call it things will never change. Cultists, when they are caught even red-handed, are only given a slap on the wrist whereas normal killers and armed robbers are punished severely for what in effect is the same violent crime. The Government needs to implement the same sort of legislation that brought down the Mafia in the US(RICO). This law simply means you are equally responsible for the crimes of your criminal organization even if you do not personally partake in the actual commission of the crime. This will especially dissuade passive members who think they can join but will be left alone once they keep a low profile and don't commit any violent acts themselves. The people we are even copying practice their own fraternities like this and its usually about academics and fun for them. Shame on our government and also the so-called celebrities who openly align themselves with one cult group or the other. |

ShyWhale:I don't care what an intelligence officer earns because it's not my field. I am telling you in my field only someone on entry-level (no experience/apprenticeship) and possibly without a degree will earn as low as you currently earn. There's no need to be rude and sarcastic. In this country I am in there are plenty of IT personals, people working in Healthcare that make a very good living. I don't know about Germany but I'm only quoting what you said i.e you earn less than the average wage there. Take your frustration elsewhere or go back home if you can't hustle like everyone else. 1 Like |

ShyWhale:Fam you just quoted yourself that the average wage in Germany is €2300 but you earn €1800 yet you are saying it's not low? Anything below average is low and anything above average is high as I understand it. Anyway thats, not my point, my point is my guys I'm referring to do not earn average salaries and they are doing well. Click on the link I posted earlier as an IT contractor you can easily earn up to £600 in a single day. Of course it takes time and experience to achieve this. |

I know what I mean by doing well. I have visited them and see how they live and you are absolutely wrong by saying they do blue collar jobs cos they don't. They mostly work in IT just like myself. Of course €1800 is a very low wage, very low. If you google the average wage of an IT contractor you'd know what I mean. And sorry to say but you sound more intelligent than someone who should be on such a low wage. In fact, I put it to you that you are definitely on a blue-collar job with such a role but just because you are doesn't mean others are. Gone are the days when as an African all you can aspire to be is a Postal delivery men and factory workers. https://www.jobserve.com/gb/en/JobListing.aspx?shid=AEDE0963B02F37BC1F ShyWhale: 1 Like |
Education / Re: Why Do Nigerians Not Speak British English? by Londonboyrep(m): 2:06pm On Sep 27, 2019 |
LordofNaija:In the same vein Scots, Welsh, North Irish are all British from one country which is the United Kingdom yet they speak differently. The most universally acceptable accent is the London accent the same as the clearest form of English in Nigeria, in my opinion, is the Lagos accent. So again Buhari is not from Lagos and I've clearly used the Lagos English accent as my yardstick. I speak with a Nigerian Lagos accent and my colleagues can understand me clearly but they struggle to understand people from other parts of the UK even though they are all from the same country. 3 Likes |

It is no brainer not to go to a country where you can’t speak the language. Having said that even when you do speak the language life will be tough initially. I have friends in France who are doing well now and just like you they did not initially speak the language. The problem for you, I think, is trying to do too many things at once i.e. studying, learning the language and working all at the same time. I’m sure things will get better if you don’t give up. If anything, it's always a major plus if you can speak 2 major languages. Good luck. 7 Likes |

TissuePaper:You don't know you you are saying mate. Nigerian spoken english is far clearer than what is spoken by the Scots,Welsh or Irish. A white man from London, for example, would understand a Nigerian from Lagos' english better than a Scotsman's. 8 Likes |

If its merely just liking the guy's presence then ask her nicely. Is your guy the type thats got plenty girls i.e player? Phones / Re: FG To Investigate Truecaller For Breaching Privacy Rights Of Nigerians by Londonboyrep(m): 4:37pm On Sep 23, 2019 |
Yes please long overdue. This is app is ridiculous and truly a breach of privacy. The app actually saves your name as what majority of others have saved your name as. I once checked my number on the app and saw my name saved a derogatory sexually explicit name that some of my friends call me as a joke. Funny right? Until I lost a business deal just because someone I was trying to do business with was convinced I lied about my name just because truecaller says I'm called something else! I can understand if it pulls the data from the owner of the number but it doesn't and this, in my view, is the main flaw with this app. Why should someone choose to make my name and number available to everyone especially without my permission? Disgrace of an app! 101 Likes 9 Shares |

Bro, she might really fancy your friend but she may not act on it. If you accuse her then you'd only succeed in making her want him more. Have a playful chat about it with her not accusatory but just say something jokingly along the lines of I'm really happy you get along with my friend etc. Chances her she will straight up tell you what she likes. Once had a GF who liked having my friend around turns out she only liked him cause he was really funny (not in a cute way, agbero funny if you understand what I mean). My point is she might really find your friend entertaining but not attractive. You haven't explained the sort of play though. Hope its not the kind of play of jumping on each other's backs? If its that kind of play then you, my friend, are almost a cuck if not one already. 1 Like |
Romance / Re: Lady Shares Chat With Her Boyfriend Who Is Angry Because She Used His Toothbrush by Londonboyrep(m): 11:30am On Sep 20, 2019 |
Overreaction and childishness from both parties in my opinion. Not that much of a big deal occasionally sharing your toothbrush or towel with a serious GF. Done this sometimes with my serious GF in Uni. If you are not into the girl(or guy) then of course what would pose an issue but again be polite about it and just get rid of the items. If the guy was really against it all he should have done is mention it casually and make sure he has spare towels and toothbrushes for her to use next time she visits. He shouldn't have brought up the age thing, she shouldn't have insulted him and even brought this online. 1 Like |

I don't know a lot of South Africans but I do know a lot of their next-door neighbors, Zimbabweans, and this is very true. Zimbabwean ladies love Nigeria guys and despise their men for this same reason. Any Zim girl who has dated a Nigerian considers dating their men regression going forward. And I'm yet to come across a single instance of the other way round, where a Nigerian lady is dating a Zimbabwean man. The men really despise us, although they won't say to our face and they keep calling us boss, boss but behind our backs their derogatory term for us is GIMBA. They will tell their women what are they doing with those gimbas lol. And Zim girls are fine AF. Curvy in all the nice places. Bride price go kill you though. 2 Likes |

Imagine the hatred we blacks have for each other and then we accuse whites of racism. We are all one and should love each other. No nation is an Island and even the supposedly richest country in the world, the USA, will not do well without the input of others. That said Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa with South Africa and Egypt close second and third. But what does that matter really? 4 Likes |

It takes two people to have bad sex. Just as the sex wasn’t great for you is the same it wasn’t for him. Unlike girls who will stick around because of the African mentality of ‘he has seen my unclothedness already’ guys have no such inclination. Just accept you are not sexually compatible and move on otherwise you are setting up yourself for a bootycall situation i.e that girl you dont really like smashing but you call whenever you want sex and theres Noone else available. My two cents. 9 Likes 1 Share |
Crime / Re: Yahoo Boys Rounded Up By Their Oyinbo Maga In Ghana (Throwback Video) by Londonboyrep(m): 6:18pm On Aug 27, 2019 |
Honestly this country is so backward. So you carry oyinbo complainant come arrest your own citizens whilst using unreasonable force. Slapping suspects that are not resisting whatsoever. They will go home, laugh about this and call us barbarians because this will never ever happen in their own country. Even suspected murderers and rapist are not slapped by police. Every human being deserves some level of dignity and whatever happened to innocent till proven guilty? You just took the oyinbo ppls words for gospel, arrested people and started slapping them. I’m not for minute condoning what these guys have done (or not) but in my experience most ppl who fall for online scams are also greedy in one form or the other. Expecting a windfall that they don’t deserve or even exploiting someone who would otherwise not look at them for a relationship. 16 Likes 2 Shares |
