Like I always say, I won't vote Jonathan. Firstly, because I don't like him and his fisherman hat. And secondly, because he doesn't have a credible running mate. If Jonathan puts Fashola (for instance) or Akpabio as running mate. I'll vote him. Buhari for now, seems a lesser evil than Jonathan. But he's not a saint and he's not the answer to Nigeria's problem. We will vote him because we feel he will do less harm than Jonathan. And not because he will do good. Whoever is expecting Buhari to do good is just lying to himself. We have to at least be able to tell ourselves the truth.

One other reason is he is the only person that can b a competition for pdp. I wonder what candidates of other parties will b tnkin.... grin. Mayb sm pple go still dey whine dem sha

Intelligent comment. You were just bordering the line of insult. But ThankGod you didn't cross it. Anywaez, Buhari might not be corrupt but he sure holds no value to human lives. You can take it or leave it. Too many incidents during his prior regime. But in fairness to him, it was the same with most military regime.

Lol. Insulting pple online is nt so intelligent. I agree with u. Same with obasanjo n co. They were trained that way. However, shld we allow corruption to swallow us as a country? Just take a look at countries with less resources than Nigeria. A few pple here have so much money they don't knw ow much they v(m sure u knw that) while the majority of people wallow in poverty. Imagine ow much havoc the families of Tinubu , Atiku, iweala, obasanjo, saraki, bode George , otedola egret, Bmw woman and Jonathans tolerance for corruption have cosd our country in al aspects. Health, education, security and all. U know ow many pple die Frm all des?

If u were nt alive when Buhari ruled Nigeria, it's not too much for you to read online or from books that are basically history n unbiased as to form your conclusion. U can't listen to a biased opposition and start forming impression or knowing from that. Nigerian politics is so dirty any1 can say anything. Do urself some good by educating urself. U wnt lose a tin.
Buhari might not be an ideal president for me for reasons such as age and the fact that I dislike politicians like Tinubu and Atiku a lot, however when it comes to bn ready to fight corruption either bn too crude or diplomatic, u can't compare him to dis clown of a president we have. The moment this politicians understand that the people are no longer going to be hood winked as usual they will come out more sincere;infact am happy GEJ is facing such a great opposition like neveras this will help him sit up and the country will be better for it

Apologies. Imo there is no other party or person that can challenge this pdp. That's ow I see it. Trust pdp to suppress any opposition. D only way out for me is apc. Afta 16yrs wt pdps failures lets try Anoda team. Thanks

i assume you know how old i am to call me aburo but then let me state here clearly for the very fact that buhari is rolling with known thieves says a lot of his disposition; he should have doggedly stuck to his CPC and then i know he isnt desperate

did you think that his sponsors wont to get their campaign money back if he should assume leadership; do you think they wont impose their cronies to conduit funds to them? he has already given the VP slot to Tinubu to fill, is this not indeed a sign of what is yet to come?

Corruption is in APC just as it is in PDP; GEJ is doing his best despite the huge insurgency distractions which are possibly sponsored by those who feel Aso rock is their right right because they are more numerous in population

you guys dont know how malicious this politicians are, you just swallow all their speeches that is why they keep on looking down on you all.

All these Buharists have a deep seated fear of walking that long road to freedom, they are looking for quick fixes and Messiah. The Young people you listed looted true, just as the old who should no better are looting.............yet not all of the young looted, Governor Duke was cleared by EFCC for instance but Duke was not just a 'clean' man who did not touch his people money but he brought creative thinking to his state.......thats what am talking about.......

GEJ could be misappropriating but he is far better than the APC men whose ultimate aim is to get into power by all means and you cant see the deceit because you refused to think out of the box....so if Buhari dies today does it mean Nigeria is doomed?? can we stop building our future on personalities rather than on institutions and ideologies?

For you to say gej is doing his best ...I bliv u v always bn a fan of gej. Educate me on sm of his best pls. In terms of corruption which is a major problem in naija. With the Tinubu u called a thief I agree, bt what has ur gej done about it. No1 has bn convicted of corruption in his 4yrs does dt mean Nigerians r suddenly saints ? Bros please b realistic. This is the first rejoinder to my comments on my posts.............perhaps the point of him being an old man go to you but then i have nothing against the elderlym where my dad still alive he would be in his seventies and i wont chide him for that

i dont dispute that buhari has his credentials but the process he has gone about it lately leaves much to be desired; we carry on as if buhari is the only hope of nigeria and that once he comes to power nigeria would become first world under 8 years.

He has done his bit for Nigeria on a personal and direct level i believe he should step aside and let someone fresh to carry on, his continued insistence on himself as the only credible option for Nigeria is quire unbecoming

APC is only using him to ger into power and maybe just as buhari is inwardly planning to yse APC to satiaye his hynger to get to power as though his lives depended on it

he recommended the likes of Dora who did extraordinarily well, could he not find someone else............personally i believe a BUHARI riding on the horse of APC has lost his virilty, purity and conscience

He might not even spend 8years. But if u r tru with urself , who else do u think can be a competition for dis bloXdy party called pdp. Nigerian politics is not that transparent my friend. There are a lot of young minds out there but can they get the chance? This is Nigeria and as long as it is u need power and cash to run election. So na me n u go sponsor the young mind abi?

Remarkable:
Why do you talk about being real and objective when you in the same post talk about rumors and conjectures, more like fallacies... so insinuate a BMW that was bought as an official vehicle was stolen by the minister of aviation... you want someone to be real but you are not being real yourself... is that fair? or does that make sense?

Insinuations u say! But she had to face senate on that issue? R u joking? So the issue of nms cars were insinuations! I rest my case

FOOLS! Now read this excerpts from the main post...

The National Agency for Control of Aids has said the Federal Government has commenced free HIV counselling, testing and medical outreach in the Federal Capital Territory as well as Niger, Enugu, Bayelsa, Anambra and Delta states.

Adu noted that some 1,000 persons had so far been tested for HIV and provided medical care for other health conditions such as malaria, hypertension and diabetes. One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Biboere Gabriel, commended the Federal Government for the free medical scheme.
She urged the organizations to sustain the exercise to reach out to other parts of Bayelsa.

Also, Mr. Bright Kaghor, who benefitted from the medical service, said he received treated mosquito net as well as medications after seeing a medical doctor. Paramount ruler of Igbogene, Chief Adike Green, hailed NACA and SURE-P for bringing free medical care to the community, noting that going beyond HIV was a strategy to combating the stigma associated with the scourge.

Where did you see that the Federal Government spent Billions of Naira to procure all that and is SELLING them or ASKING PEOPLE TO PAY FOR THE TEST?

Common Sense is not COMMON

If you mean free testing in government hospitals, then you need to know the testing kit is bought from somewhere with some money for some people, It doesn't magically appear from nowhere. And guess what? Govt buys it. So if you don't understand economics, if they stop the purchase it stops being free.
