Can you compare the benefits the person enjoys than that of the manager?

I'm not impressed by the supposed benefits. A dignify job that makes me live fairly comfortable is enough. I can never feel fulfilled working as a shiit packer abroad with all the benefits

Is there any category of people who are destined for those jobs? It may not be your choice understandable but what’s denigrating about it?

Denigrating jobs should be things that are illegal. Any honest work shouldn’t be considered denigrating.
Do public bathrooms in Nigeria not have cleaners? Do you guys just let your public bathrooms deteriorate?

It is an honest way of making a living, no doubt. But let's talk about what you have to put up with concerning such jobs. It is not for a fainted heart.

What the issue with Nigerians abroad doing such work?
There is no any issue with them, they just have to do it because that's the choice they have. If they have options to chose from, packing shiit wouldn't be their choice

Debt is the way the world works, have you not seen it?
All developed countries are in Debt, but Nigeria is in debt yet we are not remotely developed.
Its such a bad idea for one to pay upfront for their car when they can invest tha money in something that will bring money. However if buying a 90K car is ur cup of tea so be it, like that guy said if you like drive a lambo or a roly no one cares here.

Honestly speaking, this is one of the aspects where I rate Nigeria system very low. Things like car loans, mortgage, student loans, etc would have made many Nigerians grow economically and financially more than what we have at the moment.
Using 20 million naira to build a house when mortgage with little interest would do the job and invest such money to make more money

Well one of my CNAs at work used to be a bank manager in nigeria too. She didn’t have a choice as a new immigrant without support to do what you’d consider low wage job as a CNA. Now she’s done with nursing school and passed her Nclex. I’ll be orienting her if she’s lucky to get into the unit where she formerly worked as CNA. This woman is more than 10 years my senior. And she worked with “kids” who probably 20 years her junior as colleagues. You’ll never hear anything negative from her or about her behavior. I know a typical Nigerian madam can’t do that. Or a Nigerian oga.

There’s nothing wrong with a little humility because you’ll go a long way. She already has her eyes on advanced practice education as soon as she gains experience.
Meanwhile her former bank has been bought over in the time she was here and few other managers who worked with her have to be laid off.

I’m not saying everyone has to emigrate but she must have had her reason and I bet she’s glad she did. One thing that must pass is time. If you don’t like where you are, go for the next thing. Even if it requires a few months or years of discomfort to achieve the end goal. She didn’t let the fear of temporarily doing a low wage job stop her.

That doesn't mean shiit for those who don't plan to serve the system forever but already have their sight on how they want to be their own boss. My brother was laid off some years back during Soludo I guess, today he's far better serving himself.
Sometimes, our choices make or mar us. Imagine a professor migrating from India to Canada, only to be reduced to cab driver because there their education system wouldn't absorb him. Choices!

Your babe turned wife that was sexually active during your dating period now develop hatred for sex. It could only mean one thing but I hope you don't get to finds out. At this point she's bigger than you and also probably taken care of your responsibilities which is in itself a dangerous part. I pray you get a better job better than hers cause of not there's going to be a world war in that house. When a woman thinks she's bigger than you , she will look up to someone bigger than her. A woman is a woman. Your ex shouldn't really be an option though.

Why not when we nobody has asked him why she became his ex? The question is, what does he stand to gain from going back to the ex? If it worth it, he only need to sort out his present shit

Thank you, your story really helped me, I am also contemplating divorce right now, and my story is similar to yours, I invested heavily in my wife's business yet she looked into my eyes and said "YOUR MONEY IS NOT IN MY SHOP" I dated her for 5 years married her and had a kid, yet this happened, my friend in London I just spoke to is having similar problem, your advice won't work, and yes people change even in science it is believed that every 7 years you are no longer the same person you used to be seven years earlier.

My own advice is that MEN BE SELFISH(put yourself first and sometimes yourself alone, ignore wife ignore children they all will be fine even without you) I know it is hard for good men to take this advice, even me I am struggling to take my own advice

True gospel, preach it. Right now, I'm saving up like never before despite the Tinubu's harshy economic policy. Everyone around me just has to bear it for a while

I never imagined I’d be contemplating divorce, but here I am. I want to marry my ex. I want a fresh start, a chance to feel loved again. I don’t know if I can continue in a marriage where I feel more like a burden than a partner. Maybe it’s time to face the harsh truth: some people change, and some people never really were who they claimed to be. Maybe it’s time for me to choose my own happiness, to take a leap and start over.

Don't make the same mistake I made. Study your partner thoroughly before to married, don't rush!

I hope you have the courage to do the needful before it becomes too difficult to get out. Don't let what the family and friends will say about you stop you from doing what's necessary. And don't let them pressure you, people like me are solidly built to wade off pressure from family and friends

What a caregiver earn here in UK monthly, is Nigeria bank manager 3 months salary.

In otherwords, what a caregiver earn weekly, is what a bank manager in Nigeria earn monthly.

A bank manger in Nigeria doesn't pass through what a caregiver abroad passes through everyday.
One is a boss and the other one is a subordinate at the lowest level of hierarchy, that's first.
A caregiver endures all sorts of treatments from the employer and mostly from the patient as we have seen so many times. They put up with a lots of rubbish.
And lastly, as long as you are living comfortably within your income and other benefits as a bank manager, it shouldn't bother you at all if a caregiver abroad is earning far more than you. Dangote is the richest man in Nigeria, yet he still doesn't stop chasing after money which means no matter how much you're making daily, it will never be enough

When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Let's talk about the jobs itself. I can't clean toilets for living. It's a degrading job that exposes you to a lots of worse things. Washing and packing different poos with different odours and colours and forms every single day for a living in exchange for all the benefits that you listed? No waaaayyyyy! You will even eventually lose your sense of smell in the long run! Is that part of the benefits you are talking about? Even as I'm not a bank manager in Nigeria, I can't still envy you for packing shits abroad for living

I understand. But they'll still have a cost they are selling.

Infact, even using diesel, one calculate cost of kwh.

If that's what you meant, it will pay off in the long run. It's like one buying and installing those small solar lights in the home. The initial cost might drain your pocket but it will turn out to be a wise spending over the years. The only problem is that many people can't afford the cost eventhough it will off years later

How about cost of materials in 10years time

It doesn't matter, trust me.
What was the cost of materials eight years ago too? If you run your business successfully and expand it significantly for the next ten years, the gain you will have will be more than enough to build you your spec of a house and still have plenty of money from the expansion of your business over the ten years period left.

If I had wasted my 600k business fund on a piece of land (one plot) eight years ago as I almost did, would I have been able to achieve the things I achieved over the period of eight years after? The answer is no. I forgone buying 600k land eight years but bought a land for 1.7 million naira last year from the gain I made from that same 600k. Spent like 15 million naira on the project, from that same 600k and still have money or assets to continue doing my business. Didn't the waiting worth it in your own opinion?

You can see here that University of Benin is not isolated from the ongoing issue with power companies. They even have one of the highest budget for power bills. However, I agree with you that more alternative energy initiatives is needed across our schools.

Haba! Who said that? All of them are facing this issue but I'm saying that Uniben has taken their destiny in their own hands.
This initiative was just announced like one or two days ago now! And that was because FG has realised the challenge that those institutions are facing concerning this recent exploitative billing method.

REDshouse:
This is a very bad move by NNPC ..why will NNPC buys from Dangote and not allow dangote a willing seller to sell fuel to willing buyer,

My deduction from this is that subsidy will still remain cos dangote will sell at 1000naira per litre to NNPC while NNPC sells to Nigeria at 568 naira per liter.. in the long run it wont be sustainable and thereby resulting in NNPC owing Dangote and creating another set of crisis ....

That's a wrong assumption because marketers themselves said that Dangote refinery has potential to crash the price to around 600 naira per litre.
