Going by the kinda stories i read online from wailing men(the are more sob stories from men than we have from women)Its good to assume there are no good women out there anymore.

I know its a ridiculous dedcution but how do you explain getting wedded to what u know, only to start seeing you're married to what u dont know?

Don't let "what if" ever hold you back!

Because I get sense, that's why I would say the same thing. Everything shouldn't analysed using politics. I voted for Tinubu if you care to know
Career / Re: When We Say A Toilet Cleaner Abroad Is Better Than Bank Manager In Nigeria by maasoap(m): 10:08am On Sep 03
Shawarmagirl:
What a caregiver earn here in UK monthly, is Nigeria bank manager 3 months salary.

In otherwords, what a caregiver earn weekly, is what a bank manager in Nigeria earn monthly.

A bank manger in Nigeria doesn't pass through what a caregiver abroad passes through everyday.
One is a boss and the other one is a subordinate at the lowest level of hierarchy, that's first.
A caregiver endures all sorts of treatments from the employer and mostly from the patient as we have seen so many times. They put up with a lots of rubbish.
And lastly, as long as you are living comfortably within your income and other benefits as a bank manager, it shouldn't bother you at all if a caregiver abroad is earning far more than you. Dangote is the richest man in Nigeria, yet he still doesn't stop chasing after money which means no matter how much you're making daily, it will never be enough

There was a thread about one former bank manager who became high rise buildings cleaner abroad. He had to take up that job when the reality of no job at all stared at him

When we say a toilet cleaner in USA, Canada, UK, Australia is better than the manger of zenith bank, what we mean is that the toilet cleaner will never suffer what you are currently suffering in Nigeria.

Let's talk about the jobs itself. I can't clean toilets for living. It's a degrading job that exposes you to a lots of worse things. Washing and packing different poos with different odours and colours and forms every single day for a living in exchange for all the benefits that you listed? No waaaayyyyy! You will even eventually lose your sense of smell in the long run! Is that part of the benefits you are talking about? Even as I'm not a bank manager in Nigeria, I can't still envy you for packing shits abroad for living

Fair price I was expecting him to ask them to be selling it at 2500 per litre 😂 by the time Tinubu finish with Nigeria those who remain alive will think twice before voting again

Politics / Re: Minister Directs NNPCL To Sell PMS Above ₦‎1,000 To Curb Smuggling - ICIR by maasoap(m): 7:41am On Sep 03
Lol. In other words, they need to inflict more hardship on the helpless Nigerians just to curb smuggling? What happened to security agents doing their job at the borders? This is the same excuse that they gave for removing subsidy which many mumu Nigerians actually supported

I understand. But they'll still have a cost they are selling.

Infact, even using diesel, one calculate cost of kwh.

If that's what you meant, it will pay off in the long run. It's like one buying and installing those small solar lights in the home. The initial cost might drain your pocket but it will turn out to be a wise spending over the years. The only problem is that many people can't afford the cost eventhough it will off years later

Trustme2:

How about cost of materials in 10years time

It doesn't matter, trust me.
What was the cost of materials eight years ago too? If you run your business successfully and expand it significantly for the next ten years, the gain you will have will be more than enough to build you your spec of a house and still have plenty of money from the expansion of your business over the ten years period left.

If I had wasted my 600k business fund on a piece of land (one plot) eight years ago as I almost did, would I have been able to achieve the things I achieved over the period of eight years after? The answer is no. I forgone buying 600k land eight years but bought a land for 1.7 million naira last year from the gain I made from that same 600k. Spent like 15 million naira on the project, from that same 600k and still have money or assets to continue doing my business. Didn't the waiting worth it in your own opinion?

@maasoap

You can see here that University of Benin is not isolated from the ongoing issue with power companies. They even have one of the highest budget for power bills. However, I agree with you that more alternative energy initiatives is needed across our schools.

Haba! Who said that? All of them are facing this issue but I'm saying that Uniben has taken their destiny in their own hands.
This initiative was just announced like one or two days ago now! And that was because FG has realised the challenge that those institutions are facing concerning this recent exploitative billing method.

Hmmm…

Local production - Dangote himself
Distribution of products - NNPC (let’s just pretend Tinubu’s Oando has nothing at stake here)

Y’all getting screwed from all angles. Another timely reminder to let you know the elites put aside their tribal differences to exploit the masses.

Only consolation is, less demand pressure on the dollar to import fuel (assuming no problem with supply of crude oil to Dangote refinery in naira)

Epic

Dulard! The report said that the vessel belonged to him and that didn't mean that the cargo in it belonged to him as well. Una get common sense at all?
Politics / Re: NNPC To Become Sole Buyer As Dangote Refinery Begins Production by maasoap(m): 7:13am On Sep 03
REDshouse:
This is a very bad move by NNPC ..why will NNPC buys from Dangote and not allow dangote a willing seller to sell fuel to willing buyer,

My deduction from this is that subsidy will still remain cos dangote will sell at 1000naira per litre to NNPC while NNPC sells to Nigeria at 568 naira per liter.. in the long run it wont be sustainable and thereby resulting in NNPC owing Dangote and creating another set of crisis ....

That's a wrong assumption because marketers themselves said that Dangote refinery has potential to crash the price to around 600 naira per litre.

These kinds of comments was why Okonjo Iweala said he has diarrhoea of the mouth few years ago. He always comes off as being insensitive

I agree with you. Everyone was just breathing down my neck when I had not built my house last year. When I finally did, it slowed down my business greatly and I'm still recovering till now. Left for me alone without people disturbing me, I wouldn't build anything in the next ten years. I know what 15-20 million naira can do for me businesswise

But as long as the one you prefer first won't wreck your business or wreck you financially, you're good to go. Just that it is very common for house projects to be stopped midway due to dry source of money if not planned properly

Good advice. Many Nigerians including youths are wrecking themselves financially just because they want to own their own houses. They would even empty their business funds into the building projects

Are you kidding me?! Which children did Israel supposedly kill? Why aren't you lot condemning Hamas for using them as human shields in the first place?!

And another thing, those soldiers who committed the Haditha massacre were out of order, they deserve to face the music! If the victims' families want revenge, good on 'em, the cycle of violence will just keep going! And let me ask you this, should we start rounding up Muslims and hunting them for the terrorist attacks carried out by Islamist extremists?

Ara gá agba the judge.

It is different when it is about sex or nude, a totally different ballgame
Family / Re: Taiwan Man Jailed For Filming Wife Cheating With Another Man by maasoap(m): 9:33pm On Aug 31
Calitoscassius:
Actually, it is a crime to secretly film yourself having sex with another female or male or your wife and another man, without their CONSENT. But in some cases of false rape accussations or in this case of infidelity you can use the secret sex recording as your witness, you would still get a caution for recording the sex.

Many people here don't know that recording someone secretly for whatever reason having sex is invasion of privacy, even yourself with someone is a crime if the other person is unaware.

1.
What kind of privacy does someone deserve from his or her spouse in their matrimonial home? So, no absolute loyalty in marriage? That means the woman can sometimes order the man to get out of the bedroom for her to have the privacy to do certain things. Madness!

2.
What is the woman's punishment for her infidelity? Was she set free?

3.
I know that the man's right ends where another person's right begins. But the man needed evidence against the wife. Please, what other evidence could he have provided to prove the wife's infidelity? Or, could the court have believed that she was cheating on her husband, if the husband had not presented the footage?

4.
I hope the judgement will be the same if a woman does exactly what the man did.

Well, truly, he invaded her privacy with hidden camera, no doubt. But I'm sure that the divorce being sought after by the husband is now a sure deal anytime he finished serving his time.
He could hang around and catch them redhanded since the lover was coming into his house and bedroom.

I'll try to make this as simple enough for you to understand: whether he was elected or not is irrelevant. The fact remains that he was never sincere with his intentions. He chose to destroy the very resources that were meant to benefit the people all because he's a sore loser. Read that again very carefully. His actions scream "self-serving" louder than a playground tantrum, so spare us the semantics. The issue at hand is not about his title or position, but about his actions.

So what? Their newly elected representative or government or you can now step in and we all will have our peace. Are we done or we still crying after individual of us have exercised their right within the law?
