Evil Brain: When a child receives a gift, he might not necessarily take care of it properly unless with the help of an elderly person But if an adult is given a gift, it is his responsibility to care for and retain that gift It's the same scenario here, when God heals a man, demons are cast out. But it is his responsibility of that man to keep that healing though he might need to be taught how But if he doesn't do anything about it, the bible says 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: When the devil finds out you are doing nothing about your healing, he will reinforce and come back with more violent demons which in some cases, might lead to death |

Enigma: That was an utterance Paul made, an utterance of the grace of God to abound on somebody I can tell a Christian " God's presence be with you' but that does not mean the presence of the Lord will come upon him because of my utterance. For a Christian, with or without my utterance, God's presence rests with that person |

Enigma Enigma Try and understand now When a man accepts Jesus Christ, automatically, Christ comes to dwell in him 1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. Now if Christ dwells in him, he carries Christ on the inside So if you carry Christ on the inside, you don't need to invite Him to be with you He is always with you He goes everywhere you go so you can't pray for Him to be with you |

Live A Meaningful Life – Wednesday October 26, 2011 – Pastor Chris Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 CEV). Life is about giving and receiving. However, some people only take, and never give in return. All their lives, they’ve been receiving, but have never been challenged to give. A man could be physically alive in this world, but “dead” because he’s non-functional in his environment. That’s because nobody benefits from his life; he merely exists to balance the ecosystem. Life can be much more meaningful and exciting than that. A meaningful life is one that has significance in the lives of others. It’s impacting your world positively with the talents, gifts and endowments God has blessed you with. So beginning from where you are, and with what you have, you become relevant to others. You help them meet their needs and solve their problems. This should be your guiding principle in life. Imagine a nurse who has to treat many sick people in one day; that’s a great opportunity for him or her to live a meaningful life and give other people’s lives a meaning. How? By showing those patients extra love and care; an endeavour that’ll certainly bring them hope and comfort. Another nurse could look down on the job and even despise having to be around so many sick people because she hasn’t learnt what it means to live a meaningful life. Don’t live as a “grabber” or a taker; give other men’s lives a meaning. That’s what counts. The Bible says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done…” (2 Corinthians 5:10). The Lord will surely reward you for the good you did for others. He’ll always make happen for you what you make happen for others. Confession My life has been given a meaning; therefore I’m impacting the lives of those around me positively. I’m living a meaningful life, pleasing to God and beneficial to humankind. I’m more than a speck in the dust; I’m a seed of Abraham, therefore I’m blessed and the world is blessed because of me! Further Study Psalm 112:1-10 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. Firstly, I observed that a lot of refrences were made to the poor in their villages. My question is this, why I'd it the pastor that should better their lives, what happened to the goverment officials there? Even if the pastor helps them, how many famileis will he satisfy and for how long? Let's be real here. Secondly, I'm fully aware of the help pastors render to people and I can give instances: building of water bore holes in villages, picking children from the streets, feedingn housing and training them in good schools and some even assist their state goverment. Thirdly, have you mr poster ever thought about other upcoming pastors? I used to have one close to my former house. He had being there for years and still remained the same but I've encountered these bigger churches and pastors help the upcoming ones. When Jesus died on the cross, poverty was nailed with him. we should come to the realization that poverty died on the cross and if you have christ, you have wealth and riches. It we walk with this consciousness, we wouldn't have time to discuss pastors wealth because they are also walking in that consciousness. |

Speak Words Of Life – Monday October 24, 2011 – Pastor Anita For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23). When Jesus calmed the turbulent waves, the Bible tells us that His disciples “…feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and sea obey him?” (Mark 4:41). How could the sea hear Jesus and obey His words? The obvious answer, of course, must be that the wind and water have the intelligence to respond to God’s Word. In Mark 11:14, Jesus addressed a fig tree. Also in the twenty-third verse, He showed us that we could speak to a mountain, letting us know that everything in life – animate or inanimate – has intelligence. When you talk to them, they’ll hear you. On the mount of transfiguration, the Bible tells us that a voice spoke from heaven concerning Jesus, saying “…This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5). Now, the words “…hear ye him” wasn’t just referring to humans alone but to all of nature. No wonder Jesus spoke to deaf ears, blind eyes, maimed limbs, corpses, the wind, the waves, fishes, a tree – and they all heard Him. Then in Mark 11:23, He said you shall have what you say. This means you also have the ability to speak to anything. He has vested in you the authority to speak words of life – to anything – for they are all intelligent enough to hear and respond to your words. Instead of complaining about life, your finances or a health condition, speak God’s Word of blessing. Speak words of life. Those words will go into the realm of the spirit and produce the change you want to see. You can speak life to your body, your job, your family, your finances, and even your future! Your words carry power. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says “Where the word of a king is there is power…” You’re a king (Revelation 1:6); therefore whatever you want changed, talk to it, and it’ll respond. Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the ability to speak words of life – words that carry the power to alter my condition and destiny for good. I speak life to everything that concerns me today, and I declare that I’m moving from glory to glory, in the Name of Jesus. Amen. Further Study Matthew 12:36-37 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Intercession: Your Divine Responsibility – Saturday October 22, 2011 – Pastor Chris And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none… (Ezekiel 22:30-31). In Luke 13:1-5, some people came to Jesus to ask Him about the death of some Galileans whom Pilate had killed while they were at worship, mixing their blood with the blood of the sacrifices on the altar. In His response, the Master referred to another event – the tower of Siloam which fell and killed eighteen people. Jesus ascribed their misfortune to sin, and cautioned those He was addressing that except they repented, they would all likewise perish. Now, such acts of judgment could sometimes be visited upon a nation or a people, especially if the Christians in that nation are not fulfilling their priestly ministry of intercession. It’s our responsibility as Christians in the regions and nations where we live to put a halt to evil works masterminded by satan and quell the terror he unleashes upon nations. When we pray for our countries, there are increased activities of righteousness; the presence of God mantles men’s hearts and God’s Word prevails in their lives. Many countries today are groaning with the pangs of violence, war and disasters such as earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis etc. The analogy of the Master in Luke 13:1-5 shows that these catastrophes don’t happen in a nation because the people domiciled therein are the worst sinners. By interceding for our nations we can haul back the forces of darkness in our lands. It’s our responsibility to do this. We all need to realize that as Christians we’re the custodians of our environment; we’re called of God to preserve the earth and its inhabitants through prayers. In Matthew 5:13, Jesus said, “ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? Jeremiah 29:7 says “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” You’re responsible to God and to the country where you live to seek its peace and pray to the Lord for it. So it doesn’t matter where you are, or what you do, this is a call to you as an individual to intercede for the progress, peace, prosperity and preservation of your nation. Prayer Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the power you’ve vested in your Church. I stand in that authority right now, against demonic forces that instigate destruction, violence, disasters and wars, forbidding them from actualizing such in my country, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Further Study 1 Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Walk In Love – Friday October 21, 2011 – Pastor Anita By Diane Maartens in Rhapsody Of Realities Daily Devotional · Edit Doc.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God (1 John 4:7). Every day, our love-nature is tested by difficult people or circumstances that try to make us act contrary to who we really are. There’re times when out of fear, you may be tempted to lie against a friend as a means to escape trouble or punishment. That’s when you ought to be bold to walk in love, for that’s how to gain the victory. The Bible says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear” (1 John 4:18). When you walk in love, you’ll see only the best in others because love is the purity of God. We all ought to only see the good in others, not because we’re naïve, but because love-power can change the bad. Walking in love is a high place in God, and you must be determined to walk in love always. If you’re born again, the love of God is already in you (Romans 5:5). That means you have the ability to love like God, but you have to make a choice to walk in love, for love is a choice – you choose to love! God doesn’t make you love someone; He’s already put His love in your spirit and now it’s up to you to let it out. Learn to relate with people from God’s perspective. See them the way God sees them, and that’s the right way to live. If you walk in love, you won’t steal, slander or malign anyone. Choose to love. Many haven’t realized it, but the solution to the many broken marriages, friendships and relationships is love. Even when others rebuff you as you try to reach out to them in love, don’t be discouraged. Love is the greatest power in the universe, and if applied correctly, will eventually melt the hardest heart. Prayer Prayer Dear Father, thank you for loving me, and depositing your love in my heart by your Holy Spirit. I make a deliberate choice to let that love radiate through me to others today. I refuse to walk in bitterness, hatred or malice, but choose to walk in love because I’m the love-child of a love-God! I manifest the love of the Father in all things and in every situation, in the Name of Jesus’ Name. Amen. Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
