I have never read anywhere in the scriptures (Holy Bible) where the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was celebrated. But this is what he said we should do in He's remembrance;  


"And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME."

“And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you:THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.


After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: THIS DO YE, AS OFT AS YE DRINK IT, IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME."

Hello brethren, what so ever we do that is not biblical is anti-christ and also, anyone who does anything contrary to the scriptures is a witch. 


Non of us in this present day or even in the early church  can be more zealous than apostle Peter and Paul. They both never and ever celebrated this so called festival you call Christmas as the birth of a man who has no father or mother, no beginning of days or end of life and who is also known as God. Why!!! Why are we dwelling in deception.

Most of the things processing Christians do are rudiments of this world and doctrines/tradition of men.

Also remember, “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 


Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 


Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 


Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.”

Do you know the Roman 14:5 you quoted has answered completely all the questions.



People that are persuaded about Saturday. Leave them and let them be. People following Sunday, leave them and let them be. People that esteem any day as a special day to them about any special event and celebrate it( e.g the birth of Jesus, easter, new year)leave them and let them be. In as much as everything is done in the way of the Lord. But people that do it not to please the Lord will receive their judgement. Why should I condemn Sunday worship just because some people decide to spend their Sunday in beer parlor or brothel and not in church . No where in the Bible it was commanded that Sunday should be worship day. I said that again. Show us if there is any. Or what sin has someone committed to have a good time with his wife and children after worship in church commemorating that Jesus was born. That’s Roman 14: 5 for your. Anything not done in faith even if it’s naturally not sin, it’s a sin. If you understand what that means.

Romans 14:5 is not talking about festivity day like christmas, etc. Use your brain now! Its talking about normal days(normal day of worshipping God)...christmas is not a day of worship But a day of festivity/merryment which is done yearly!!! Stop twisting scriptures out of context.

Give us where in the Bible and we will shed more light on that not out of context like you guys love doing . Don’t tell us where Paul was passing on a journey and told the people to get something ready for him on his journey first day of the week. That’s not coming together to worship God. He is only giving them time to do for him a particular task.

One can dedicate any day to God for coming together. If Jesus did not observe first day of the week, why should I think first day of the week is is more important than other days of the week.

I consecrate to God first day of the week myself. But I have been in another country where our first day of the week is Friday. We went to church on Friday not Sunday. Seventh day Adventist do Saturday. Do you see why God is more concerned about salvation and not your first day of the week that Jesus didn’t observe.

Read your bible!!! First day of the week is littered every where in the new testament. Besides, Paul the apostle through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit made it clear that Sabbath day no longer apply for new testament believers:-

"Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days." Colossians 2:16

"One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." Romans 14:5

Nobody said Jesus was born on the 25th of December, it's just a day Christians chose to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ same as the death of Jesus Christ. Yes, the day may have been from a pagan origin but how about Sundays, do people not still sacrifice to their god's?
My definition of Christmas is a reminder of a Sacrifice Jesus made for men to have redemption and grace in the sight of God, it's worth celebrating .Santa Claus is what has been put in place for Children to relate to Christmas, is a way of telling children to be good cos there is a reward for being good at the end of the year.
It's not stated in the Bible to celebrate Jesus birth but we find good in it just the same way you find good in celebrating marriage anniversaries, birthdays etc

Jesus did not observe any day other than sabbath in the same New Testament.. Sabbath is an express God’s commandment that Jesus kept. Guy, Catholic started the same easter and new year you celebrate. Abi Jesus asked us to celebrate them? Early Christians didn’t celebrate new year and easter. In fact the Bible says all days are full of evil. So I don’t understand why we celebrate 365 days of evil as described by the Bible. Why can’t you address that.

Good one, but the church shouldn't set rules on that. Give the counsel and allow people to show there love for God by heeding the counsel.



Give counsel against drunkenness, and point out the harm associated with drunkenness, but setting rules that no one should take alcohol because of the harm it caused for those who abuse it, is going beyond your authority I think. That an item could be abused doesn't make the item bad in itself. Again, i don't think we have the right to ban what God allows. Jesus took alcohol. The effort might be good intentioned, but we have to be careful not to exceed our limit of authority.

As a man who lived his youthful years going to church without being fulfilled because of the shallow massages been preached, decided to create time from his lecturing work to dig deeper into the word of God with 15 people who desired to know more.

Their aim wasn't to form a church as there were no Sunday service as at then, (everyone goes to their church on Sunday) only Bible study on Mondays. However this change when they eventually turned it to a church and later a ministry.

The main reason for its formation has not changed from "Your Spiritual Welfare is Our Concern". Their aim is to go deeper in the things of God, hence the name deeper life. So whatever is necessary to maintain the focus is welcome, hence the church doctrine.

The church has 22 doctrines which they emphasis every meeting days, however there are other unwritten doctrines which also help in upholding the holiness nature of the church.

Yeah HOLINESS! People say the members of this church are claiming to be holier than others, sorry it's not their fault. They are told to do everything everyday to be holy, because it's the only passport to making Heaven at the end of their life on earth. The Bible says follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man will see the Lord.

Now, to make sure holiness is pursued to the end, certain things which are not evil on its own but has a tendency of evil are to be avoided. The Bible says abstains from every appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22.

Some of these things are as follows :

1:- Television. Then television was the major source of phonography, contradicting adverts etc. So, to avoid certain things, don't watch. However, with the advancement of technology, Internet and phones, television became a child’s play. You know better now.... Live broadcasting of the gospel.

2:- Opposite sex visitation. The church doesn't encourage opposite sex visiting each other, WHY? To avoid Fornication. This gave room to one of the strict doctrine of the church on marriage. It got to a point that if you tell the marriage committee that you've visited the one you want to marry, that the church won't wed you people again..... This is what the pastor intend to change (before he leaves earth) ie. Your wedding can't just be stopped because of things that can be overlooked (didn't lead to Sin).

3:- Dressing Pattern. Yeah Dressing! For holiness sake, everyone must cover their unclothedness. No sensitive part of the body is allowed to be seen raw skin, see through or by shape. Dressing for holiness and for smartness at work is what drives dressing pattern. Anything aside these are not allowed.

4:- Drinking of Alcohol. Nothing is wrong with drinking moderately as encourage in the Bible but to avoid being drunk it's not encourage in the church. Alcohol has done more harm than good. Many can't control what they take in hence gets drunk often. Like you know, people see drunks as irresponsible people.... And who wants to teach their children to be drunk? Not deeper life people. I like Gen 9:21 and Prov 31:4,6

5:- Money. Money answereth all things. Yeah MONEY. You need money to run an organization/ministry. However money isn't the church priority. They preach less about it and don't emphasis it much. Tithes and offerings and vows are the only mean of raising money in the church, and all this means are thought to be done willingly and cheerfully. No register is kept for any giver.

In conclusion, the church isn't the world. Things mustn't be done to please the world lovers. The mission of the church is to bring people to God.

Tell your pastor to tell you more of God's kingdom and how to get there after life here on earth.

Sincerely I'm embarrassed discussing this issue about watches with you. Does it really matter before God the material I wear whether rubber, leather or even chain as if it's even a symbol of worship or brings me an inch closer to God. Me personally I even prefer leather watches and I believe moderation should be our key as Christians in our lifestyle but stop playing assistant Holyghost in condemning fellow believers that put on chain watches. What that verse 16 means is that any contention/debate about the practice of head coverings as a result set the corinthians church against the practice of all the apostles and other churches. Just as they should not ignore parts of the tradition passed on to them, they should not cavalierly and arrogantly stand in opposition to the rest of the church....Paul confronted anyone who wished to argue the point with the reality that the issue was not up for debate.

As we see through the scriptures, making use of gold, silver, copper, etc to build vehicle parts, make building and household materials and accessories, vessels and instruments in church, currency, etc is acceptable...But the only wrong way to use them is by wearing them as body adornments, jewels or ornaments of the body. Wrist watches in form of bracelets, chain wrist watches and chain belts are jewelry in disguise and such should be avoided.
The main reason why putting on of jewels is wrong is that, God never made gold, silver, brass, copper, etc to be worn as ornaments or adornments. If it was necessary, God would have attached them on Adam's body; He would have put a wedding ring on Adam and Eve's hand when He joined them together. Probably, He would had made a hole on each of Eve's ear to accommodate earrings when He created her, and all female would have had holes on their ears from birth.

#By wearing these things, such person is indirectly saying the work of God is not perfect and that He lacks perfect creativity.
