Nwokem shut up. You think this is an Igbo thing. You are obviously an urchin paid to cast LP as an Igbo party

Where in my post did I state LP was best an Igbo party? Una dey read to comprehend at all? If you even read my post at all,I categorically stated that using the growing LP foundation as a party to consolidate our base in the SE should be prioritized first so we can clean up our own house before anything thing. Of course we know LP is growing to be a national party and we want more of it, I'm only hinging my points on two bullet points: First that we establish a solid political structure/identity and base in the SE by making sure that any aspirant contesting for political office in the SE must align with the ideology of ideals, templates and concepts of preserving the interests of Ndigbo. Secondly, that we the youths make sure we galvanize the popularity of LP nationwide by voting only credible, verified and sound aspirants who seek to run on the party ballot
Politics / Re: Labour Party From Top To Bottom. by mancoconut: 5:36am On Mar 04, 2023
Only reason why I want LP to be voted from top to bottom across almost all tiers of government in the SE is because for once we will have a regional bloc and identity under which the SE can finally unite, that way accountability for all candidates will be organized and taken into serious considerations...if you fail to deliver, Labor party will vote you out cause we now have the mandate. Over the past years we've had to deal with a haphazard situation where shady individuals with absolutely no interest of Ndigbo at heart have ran under various parties and have invariably destroyed the concept of self-preservation- the likes of Uzodinma, Umahi, Ugwuanyi, Soludo come to mind...that ends now. No more APC, PDP, APGA and all that confused rubbish in the political firmament of the SE, if you're aspiring for political office in the SE, you have to run under LP and you have to be thoroughly screened so that we can know about your contributions to the development of Igboland both in public and private sectors, what are your plans for your state, constituents, local government wards etc? if you check all our list then you are good to go.

We desperately need a new class of refined political leaders in Alaigbo who will put the interest of Ndigbo FIRST, I'm just glad the gubernatorial elections are about to begin, best time to vote in all LP candidate and clean out PDP and APC from the SE for good, this election has taught us a very vital lesson about self-preservation.

Lastly after we consolidate LP as the major party bloc in the SE, we will then branch out nationwide and capture more states with the unwavering Peter Obi frenzy, the more states we get from gubernatorial, senate, HOA,and HOR levels...the more structure we get, APC needs a serious opposition party to serve them hot, since PDP is becoming flavorless.

Politics / Obi Is Now A Godfather In Modern Nigerian Politics by mancoconut: 11:27pm On Mar 03, 2023
Any aspirant(s) that wish to run for political office under Labour Party must first seek Obi's mandate and blessing first. But I doubt Obi is interested in Godfatherism brand of politics.

Politics / INEC Are Now Deleting Their Tweets by mancoconut: 6:43pm On Mar 02, 2023
Just hours after Peter Obi's press conference, what's really going on in this country? if the suspicions that INEC has been compromised is true, then what system can the average person trust in this country anymore? nobody is talking now because it's your party in "control", you see obvious evidence of injustice but you won't talk because your bigotry and partisanship has to come first, like play like play we're seeing a country's democratic process being truncated unchallenged, why are INEC deleting their tweets? what are they hiding? Omo e be like say to find way japa from this country is the way to to, the fraud is just unbearably disgusting.

Politics / Herdsmen Plan To Eject, Take Over Farmlands—ondo Farmers by mancoconut: 11:52am On Mar 02, 2023
Herdsmen plan to eject, take over farmlands—Ondo farmers

FARMERS in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State, yesterday, urged Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to curb the incessant attacks by suspected herdsmen, who plan to eject them and take over their farmlands.

The farmers in Ajegunle/Powerline community, in the council, alleged that there have been repeated attacks on the farmers of the community, calling for urgent intervention of the state government before the issue gets out of control.

In a chat with newsmen, the spokesperson of the farmers, Abraham Olowo, said: “The attacks have started for the past two weeks but the climax of it all is the attack they did a few days ago, which almost resulted to a death of one of the farmers in the community, who is currently at the emergency unit of a private hospital in the state.

“We are calling on the government to intervene because we cannot run away from the Fulani herdsmen. They intend to drive the people out of the community and take over the community.

“We are begging the government and the security agencies to please come to our aid before it goes out of hands.

That's why we are going to court, to lay all facts on the table. So if you have all your evidentiary facts against LP, then by all bring them to court and plead your case- that's the whole point of a judicial process.

Correct!

i think we should start as citizen to start comparing the original results with doctored one to help the LP legal team

What do you say?

We are definitely on it, there's a tech media team specifically assigned for gathering all the electronic and manual copies of the original results that have been circulated thus far. Big thanks to this digital age of technology, it's very easy to tell a original document from a doctored one. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind BAT winning (and I don't even care that his supporters have learned how to recycle the same insults if you're anti-APC), but it has to be established beyond all reasonable doubt that he won FAIR AND SQUARE, and if it turns out from court findings that Obi rigged as well, then I'll personally campaign against Obi's integrity.

Na too much ojoro and injustice dey kill this country, when you talk they will call you "Ipob" or tell you to go kill yourself, just typical animal behavior.

Politics / Re: What Are The Advantages Of Having The President From Your Region? by mancoconut: 8:22pm On Mar 01, 2023
Simple answer: crude tribalism (the bane of politics that has held Africa back for decades), as long as ethnic bragging rights is the order of the day who cares about the bigger picture? One dirty poverty-stricken man will be bragging "my brother is the president" while mocking his neighbor from another tribe, meanwhile that his neighbor is evidently doing better in life and is a fulfilled man...the price of bread in the market won't favor the man whose brother is president over the man brother isn't when everything is all fuccked up.

Like I say, Nigeria won't get better anytime soon until we just go back to regional government, make everybody just answer him papa name cause right now the politics of Nigeria will ALWAYS favor a section of people because they have the "numbers", even though they are the worst beneficiaries of multi-dimensional poverty in all its indices, yet they've produced more presidents and Heads of states in Nigeria...when you talk they will call you "bitter" "Ipob" or tell you to go agitate for Biafra...OK fine let me go agitate for my Biafra in peace and let you be, they will still be the same people that will encourage the military to come down hard on you for exercising your fundamental rights to self-determination.. the best and only option left is to either fight back knowing you will die fighting anyways or just japa to more sane clime if you have the means.

The true brothers of the SE are the Edo people of the South South, our Northern Christian brothers and the various good people of Cross river and Delta that stood with Obi, we shall never forget you guys

We now have a structure and the new leadership of the SE will surely build on it, so Ijaw man, with all due respect you can go f**k yourself. I blame the naive Igbos who stood by that bowler hat wearing dunce GEJ, but we've learned our lessons the bitter way, it's time to play our politics the big boy way and start aligning with the North at the center but you see those your oil wells in Izonland, we will continue to usurp it and desecrate your lands with pollutions.

The game has just begun.

Politics / Imagine Tinubu Addressing A Gathering Of World Leaders by mancoconut: 5:14am On Mar 01, 2023
Hands trembling as he struggles to hold the teleprompter while making incoherent statements...this time there will be no "back up" official that will be telling him what to say or not say as a president of a nation (much more the largest black nation on earth) is expected to be spritly/agile, physically commanding and mentally sharp. Imagine the embarrassing gaffes that will go viral when Tinubu does what he does best in front of the international community. Naija na you do this one ooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Congrats to Tinubu

I'm booking my flight back to Yankee this week, can't kill myself on wasted passions for Nigeria...Obi I've done my part, unfortunately Nigeria might happen to you.

I think it's best Igbos start to embrace the irreversible reality that Nigerian politics isn't just for us, let's just play regional politics and make sure only LP and APGA control all levels of government in the SE- from local government to HOA level. Tinubu did it with his merger with Buhari and he just might reap his rewards however massively rigged and dodgy this election has been. I'm officially done with Nairaland, back to reddit I go.
