This is an old post, sorry saw it late. If you are already in Oman u will realize that anything less than 600 Omani rial [540,000 Naira] is not good enough talkless of 260 Omani rial. If u are still in Nigeria or moved elsewhere, good you didn't take the offer. The gulf countries are only suitable for professionals and most of them work as University lecturers, Hospitals and the Oil sector.
please Cruxifixo, since you are already working in Oman, can you help me with your e-mail address to okwuemeka@yahoo.com, let me forward this to you, you can as well help me to cross check it. Thanks

cruxifixo:
Lots of Nigerians in Oman, infact u will find Nigerians in virtually all the Universities, hospitals and the Oil sector. Muscat is d place to be cos u have few Nigerians and expatriate outside Muscat. That said, minimum 700 - 800 Omani rial could be ok for a single and for a family depending on the size, minimum of 1000 Omani rial (1 naira - 960 Omani rial)excluding benefits.
Thanks for your input.

@Esosa4real, Thanks my bro for your advice and contributions. Am taking time to verify everything before leaving. What you said is really what is happening over there. Even some airline said so. Thanks.

It is a 2 years work permit visa. It is through an agent. Though, what I discussed with him was UAE work permit but surprisingly, he did Oman Work permit visa which is better of UAE I discussed with him. I forwarded my CV in UAE CV format, a copy of international passport and passport photography of myself.

Please kindly help me out. An agent I discussed with about UAE visa suprisely to me sent a 2 years Oman employment visa as he claimed to me to confirm and pay him 300k . The visa he sent to me is a half page visa. I took it to the airline, they look at it and told me to ask the agent to send the full page, because they need to scan it and send it to Oman for ok to board but the agent refused to release the full page saying that, the sponsor i.e the company said I have to pay before they can send it. I try and Google about Oman visa website, but could not check it because it requires web application number and the agent could not provide me that. I cannot access the visa with only the visa number and passport number. I called the visa service unit number on the Royal Oman police website, but no one is picking the call. No e- mail address on the web. to write to them for enquiries. The sponsor name on the employment letter also sent to me by the agent is Titan Security solutions LLC. The attached is the half page visa he sent. Please if you know how I can confirm if the visa is genuine or not in Oman, kindly share with me.
