SOMEONE SHOULD PLS GUIDE ME THROUGH

Pls scroll up and you will find this reply by @Inxyz

"@Inxyz :

Monica, I was at the admin of my school yesterday to
inquire about BSC admissions.

From their answers, you must understand Norsk before
you can be admitted.

Also, if you don't, then you must go tru a 1yr course in
Norsk and pass before you can be considered for
admission.

The 1yr Norsk program is only possible if you are
already in Norway according by them because they will
not assist you in getting visa for this one year course.
So I understand it's for people that are already here.
For Hostels, yes they will provide you one. In fact
before your arrival because you need to show Norge
Embassy that you have somewhere to stay before your
Visa app can be granted. You have to pay between
3000NOK to 5000NOK depending on place and city.

I hope this helps, wish you all the best of luck in your
application."

pls lynnxx, starflux, Ashimuyi and other well meaning Contributors ur attention is needed.... Question #2 especially Cox some schools demand u upload ur transcript.
thanks

Yeah they do need originals sent directly from the issuing institution alongside the one you upload. Not all ask for it to br sent tho. NTNU and Uni Oslo, as part of their requirements for admission, upload a copy of your transcript and request one directly to be sent from the issuing institution to them. So carefully check the requirements.

Thanks for the quick response.
Here's what I did but correct me if I'm wrong. I filled the first 3pages online and printed out the last one where I need to sign and date, then combine everything together and upload.
Please what's the format for financial docs to be submitted. Thanks

Did you add a colored photograph of yours to the last page?

financial docs will be printed from the bank for you then you scan and upload them. Copy the scanned pics and paste them in ms word. then you can either save it as a word file or pdf. tjen you upload it.

1. You can either fill it online or with pen. If online, you print it and sign it and then scan and upload it.
2. Work experience, I think your cv and recommendation letters are enough.
3. Upload the financial doc anytime you like provided you beat the Jan 15 deadline.

pls @house i need answer to this question now
i am applying to 2schools in Norway.how should i go about sending my transcript to them?,is it that i will have to send one each to each sch,or theres a way one covers for the two schls

I think you should send each school your transcript. If you apply for 10 schools, you send each of them your transcripts.

Yes, 3 years of legitimate countious stay in the country.

Thanks. Exactly what I needed. Are you in Trondheim?

StarFlux:
You can apply for more studies or apply for work. Pretty straight forward, but you need to stay in the country for a set amount of years to obtain permanent residence if that is what you seek.

Have any idea how long? I mean for the permanent residence.

I'd say Norway definitely (easier). The unemployment rate in Germany is 4,9%, while it is 3.4% in Norway. I have never been to Germany so my opinion on the matter probably wouldn't reflect reality, but it's probably tougher as it's a bigger country going through rough times.

After schooling, what are the options available?

Thanks but the site contains little info.
Please, anybody with universities and courses related to Industrial physics can help me thanks.

The info there on that site is just to give an overview of the program. The site to every course selected in a school is always provided so when you get the course, check for the link to the school's website.

@ maxidj I applied for chemical engineering as first choice and chemistry as second choice.

Okay. God willing, we shall meet in NTNU.

stewiepeter:
@ maxidj you don't need to send any of your document only if u want to send your recommendation letters by mail. But mind you after uploading all your documents online in soknads. You need to send your transcript from your Uni. to ntnu this is done by your university only. So I guess that's all you have to send to ntnu. Have you downloaded the Microsoft word document? Don't forget to sign it and attach your passport @ the last page. Ntnu stated in their website that there's no longer prelim application

Thanks a lot. done all that. The next item on my list is the requesting for the transcripts to be sent to NTNU.

btw, which prog did u apply to?
Travel / Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by MaxiDj(m): 2:20pm On Oct 07, 2014
stewiepeter:
@genfront I also applied for chemical engineering @ ntnu. It's stated clearly on their site what u need for the prelim application. Take your time and read carefully the required document needed. You also need to send your document that is certified. And also your transcript from school is also needed hurry and do these as the dead line is January 15th. Note: make sure you read all the instructions carefully as that can lead to refusal of admission.

In my little research on the website, I found these. Follow the link. http://www.ntnu.edu/studies/faq-master#Finalprocess

When do I send hard copies of my documentation?
We do no longer require hard copies of your documentation, as all documents should be uploaded to your online application, unless your are from one of the countries where we require transcripts sent directly from your university or we require verification from a national agency. English documentation should also be sent by post.

*There are a lot of questions answered there that will be of great help to those applying to NTNU.
