Aljmusa300: You are displaying a crude sense of entitlement! Are you aware the Buhari appointed other non-oil producing states to the same NDDC board? Isnt this what should give you more concern than your next door neighbour being in the same board? Why are you more comfortable fighting an Urhobo man being in the board while northerners were also nominated to the board by the president for the first time since establishment of NDDC? You lot need to take a hard look at yourselves and be ashamed for yourselves. 1 Like |

Junk! This is a total disgrace and shows a reflection of who we truly are and how we percieve each other. Its either North vs south; east vs west, this ethnic vs that ethnic etc. This is a supposedly Ijaw nation fighting an Urhobo, from same state! We will shout xenophobia, racism bla bla bla...Now we come back home and fight our own brother's success! Shame! 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Chimookigwe: Exactly what it is. Trying to make the lady the victim. |

I knew I would see the word 'black female' in the rebuttal; wasn't disappointed at all. It's soo easy to predict what the content will be. Playing the race card was not enough, they had to combine it with the gender card so as to be seen as the victim. Btw, the sun does not owe the management any explanation, neither is it mandatory to get clarification from them before publishing their report. The said lady is a police officer and not a celebrity so who the Sun needed to contact was the MET, her employers and not her management team or whatever wrote that crab. 25 Likes 3 Shares |

Don't bring innocent children into this world to come and be suffering!! You never mention of working anywhere, neither your gf. After spending that 300k on impromptu wedding, you still need to pay rent and feed the family. Raising a baby is not a joke. |

First of all, this certificate should have been presented to INEC as the prerequisite for contesting, not to the courts. Secondly, is it just me or is the president's name spelt in 3 dimensional ways? 2 Likes 1 Share |

ElsonMorali: Lol...your advise is dead on arrival. NYSC has the right and discretion to issue, suspend, withdraw discharge certificates. Some legit corp members have their service year extended or outrightly dismissed from camp. It will take 4yrs for NYSC to respond to any law case from the lady. If she has money to waste Shaa, she can go to court. 4 Likes |

Let her go and get her transcript from the school, then forward it to NYSC secretariat at Abuja and follow-up. She will be given her certificate |

TIGRITIS: So structural stability is dependent on centre of gravity? High rise buildings and skyscrapers towering over 100m high must not be in existence then. I hope you didn't study anything related to sciences because that would be an embarrassment. post=80338281: Smh! 1 Like |

The Nigerian judicial system is tolerating this joke! This is business as usual. If they had read his charges, take his pleas and sentence him, he won't be taking selfies in court. There's enough evidence to nail him, coupled with his confessional videos. This case shouldn't have needed an adjournment. 21 Likes 1 Share |

LegalOpinion: Apologized for a crime he didn't commit? That's a new one. Meanwhile, from his apology video, it is evident he conceded to doing the crime. |

I don't understand our judiciary system at all. Did Abboh plead not-guilty to the charge? Dude already confessed to the crime. Why not read him his statement at once? Why the adjournment till end of July? So that lobbying can take effect and the case forgotten? And couldn't the police find a female magistrate to handle this case? |

That Awaziem dude was on fire! I was impressed by his performance. His crosses were on point, leading to the 2 ighalo goals. If ighalo didn't get 2 goals and an assist, he would have been easily my man of the match. 4 Likes |

Mk12: Since you can't easily identify goods manufactured in China or anywhere else, it means my concern are valid. Despite the fact you are trying to be childish with those tantrums, I will give you a free pass now. |
![]() |
Mk12: Are you going to.send delegates to the African countries to ensure the goods were manufactured there? Ours is a fragile economy with little support for manufacturing. It's a shame that all the efforts OBJ made to make us a manufacturing country is going down the drain with this single sabotaging effort. We need to guard our economy very well. The implications are rife; we don't have already power. It's going to be difficult now to attract foreign investors if they can easily site heir plant in SA and push Thier goods to Nigeria duty free! |
![]() |
As African leaders, our attention should now focus on implementing the AfCFTA in a way that develops our economies and creates jobs for our young, dynamic and hardworking population. Unfortunately, I don't see how this brings any development. How are you going to monitor goods moving into your country and ensure that such were actually produced in Africa and not some African countries serving as a proxy for European and Asian markets to flood Nigeria? |

uzohrome: Oga, exclusion of border taxes should not be seen as an advantage at all. Border tax, in the form of ETLS is as little as 0.5% - 1.5% of FOB charges. It's like a waiver to hell! I don't think you understand fully the implications of this agreement. |

Arelyn: The deal will not add to our export value; what we export is mostly crude and agric products which hardly lacks market as crude is regulated by OPEC and Agric products will always find a market. Our indegenous market is hardly striving, much more when competition with foreign goods becomes rife. 1 Like |

Arelyn: Flow of goods within member countries, how are you going to ensure that the goods flowing were actually manufactured in the originating country? We just shot ourselves in the foot! Goods will be moved from Europe and across the world into our neighboring countries and then by virtue of free trade agreement, gain passage into our country. This is a calamity in the making. Ordinary smuggling and the likes of dangote are whining. Now we have legalized movement of goods into our country from supposedly African countries. 3 Likes |

israelmao: How is there a merit in this? The effect of having Benin Republic and a porous border is already telling on our economy, you think there is a merit in this? Our manufacturing sector will bleed out; nothing kills an economy faster than importation of finished goods; this is what he just signed up for. 1 Like 1 Share |

folarinstr: They can arrange an airport shuttle bus to pick their passengers directly from the airport into dubai. My first trip to Dubai, Quarter Airways didn't drop us at Dubai. They had a shuttle bus pick us from the airport into Dubai. Meanwhile, sharja is very close to Dubai. I don't think it will take up to 30mins drive. 5 Likes |

Why on earth we let Herrera go remind a mystery to me. Check out own stars when he played for Ole and then when he got injured and missed the last part of the season. Dude may not be talented with skills, but what he lacks in that area, he makes up for in passion and professionalism. How we are given Rashford yekini an improved contract and neglecting the weightier matters of the law baffles me. |
