Lol...story doesn't add up. Why try to drug you and fvck you in his car when you are already falling head-over-heals for him? You were already dreaming and fantasising about him as a husband material so it would just take him 2 more weeks of calls and gift showering before sliding into your panties?

Where exactly will he even park the car self? Inside the bush? Abi take you to his house and carry you inside like a bag of rice?

I hope some in that area have learnt their lesson that should serve as a deterrent for another 5yrs/6yrs, before the typical hungry criminals come to vandalise again for easy money, knowing that the NNPC and the security forces will forever be useless.

One tanker of fuel is over N4.5mil, that of diesel is over N8mil; the security forces in colaboration with some locals are the ones doing this bunkery. They escort like 10 tankers to that same spot and do their thing. Multiply 8mil by 10 and you discovered that in less that 2yrs, they will be back.

We are that evil and wicked in this country!

The Catholic Church does not dedicate children of non married couples.

Italo, is this true?

I believe some people will look at it from the perspective of the 'innocent' child that still needs dedication. But the priest should have called for a more private dedication, maybe go to the house of Linda with his crew and bless the child. This ceremonial dedication will certainly daint some laws the church holds in high esteem.

You never find your bearing, you dey shoot babies enter this country; are you and that girl that daft to afford protection? If you can't get a condom for N50, can't she get postinor, or keep an eye on her calendar? Babies aint trophies to be displayed on social media; neither are they social status. Hopefuy, you give her a Better life than you had, hopefully, you don't add to the poverty index of this country.

Career / Re: Tax Professionals Forum by MaziOmenuko: 11:03pm On Dec 09, 2018
Hello Jarus and co.
I need some insights into matters concerning withholding tax.

. I have browsed and read a lot about it but there are some grey areas I still haven't come to terms with.

I understand these are statutory, but aren't there exemptions? I tried to read more about tax in general and I understand that there are exemptions on VAT especially in terms of food stuffs but I can't see where the exemption on VAT is extended to withholding tax. Can I summarise that since there are exceptions of Vat on foodstuff, it can be extended to withholding tax?

Also, most importantly, if a vendor supplies , lets say electrical appliances;can he send in his invoice detailing cost of Procurement of applaiance as x naira, cost of transport as y naira, then service cost as z naira, so that the withholding tax will be on the service cost alone rather than on the net sum. Is it allowed?

Asides the basic info on withholding tax, there's really no much details available online on it unlike the value added tax where there is plenty information.

Hope to get some insights from you all.

Politics / Re: Buhari Will Not Steal Our Money, Says Osinbajo As He Begins Door-to-door Campaig by MaziOmenuko: 12:00pm On Dec 09, 2018
Our major problem in Nigeria is corruption; it’s not plans. There are so many plans. If you allow the resources of the country to be stolen, no plan can work. The difference between Muhammadu Buhari and any other president is that he will not steal and he will not allow stealing.

I beg to disagree sir! If this is all you guys intend to campaign with after 3.5yrs, it's a pity, a big pitty!

but there are no jobs to pay off the loans na.

Even when you get the job, how much are employers of labor paying? Fresh graduates in the payroll of govt don't earn more than 45k/month; other private firms pay average of 60-80k. Only a few pay better. Imagine if we pay school fees as much as millions of naira annually with student loan. How long do you think it can be paid off?

What is the point having something that doesn't work? Think!

Just like every other thing in the Nigerian space, our federal universities are a true reflection of the society at large. So why single out the education sector to be privatized where nothing else works? Can we also privatize the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police? While we are at it, we can also privatize governance in general instead of singling federal uni's?

Career / Re: Help! My Boss Is Taking Credit For My Work by MaziOmenuko: 9:03pm On Nov 28, 2018
I had similar experience in one of my previous place of work. Mine was that aside being selfish and canny, my boss was very overbearing. He was employed newly to head the department, prior to that, I was acting as dept head when my previous boss resigned. Upon resumption, I practically taught him everything in the department. Then he became very paranoid of me. He always felt I was a threat to his job.

I never disagreed with him openly except on one occasion in the presence of the MD when he made one silly suggestion which I challenged and after presenting our points, the MD took my side. After that, matters degenerated so much that he told me openly that I was eyeing his job.

I have read that 48 laws of power and is familiar with the phrase 'Never outshine your master', but unfortunately, I am not of that same school of taught. I don't have to swallow a popular phrase because it is a General believe. I made myself visible to the point that during mgt meetings, the MD always sends for me alongside him because he knows what I am capable of.

Long story short, during one of our yearly performance review and appraisal, he strongly recommended that I be sacked as I was incompetent on the job and not a team player. He ended up getting sacked for falling short of some basic management requirement.

What saved my job was not obeying one law in the 48 commandements; I was retained for having a good track record of outstanding performance visible for all to see.

Oga, make yourself visible. Next time you see an innovation that will move your company forward, prepare a very nice slide with PowerPoint and send to your MD. Tell him you need 5mins of his time to make the presentation.

Your boss did not hire you, don't let him decide when you will be sacked.

***I must add that my experience above is relative. It depends on your boss. I had a boss that gave me a project, a big one. When I was through, he forwarded my report to the MD and mentioned specifically that I was the one that did the job. He blind copied me in the mail he sent to the MD. I was overwhelmed. So it all boils down to the kind of boss you have. For such a boss, I would gladly obey the law of not bordering myself to outshine him.

Mobilize all ground forces and head to Metele on a head-on with the rag tags. We have been giving excuses that it's a guerrilla warfare; now the iswap are no longer hiding, why not mobilize and face them head on?

Unfortunately, our airforce is a dead rubber stamp. The Nigerian Army, rather than unite with the Airforce to get enough hardware for this war, sold the idea of having their own Airforce division within the army. The Nigerian Airforce kicked against this move with good reason but somehow, the presidency bought into this stupid idea.

The result is that both the Nigerian airforce and the army's airforce wing remained dormant and incompetent to coordinate air attacks.

Do we even many foot soldiers for this war if we had a strong Airforce?

I don't know about this Twitter guy but, if my father was just a mere Warrant officer in the Nigerian army, I'd be ashamed to show him off. A part of me will even be happy that Boko Haram took him with them.

Those that rose to General don't have two heads or three blockos.

Keep displaying your ignorance! A rank and file can never rise to the rank of a General. Before a rank and file rises to Warrant Officer, he is already getting to retirement as evidenced jn the aged look of his dad. The highest position his dad could get to is Master Warrant Officer and not all rank and file gets to that rank before retirement.

Having said that, there is no need looking for empathy in your post. Hopefully, you are just kidding around and hiding your imperfect life through sarcastic posts.

Hopefully, they will realize that paying those ragtags millions of euros as ransom for chibok girls was a dangerous idea. Paying for the dapchi was even a more silly idea. You are funding your enemies and they are murdering you in cold blood. When they run out of cash, they look for the nearest girls secondary school to raid.
