Wow i guess i missed this thread...Is so much possible but inventory will be the problem. On the other hand, shopify can be used for dropshipping without paying at all, allows you to sell 50 products, no custom domain...etc.

Gee, long time. Actually 2checkout is responding to application from Nigeria. I did had a long discussion with them to approve my account with them. I provided all the docs they requested. However, they went ahead to request for my website Admin login details which I'm yet to respond to. I'm just wondering why they are asking for such info. Besides, they have a really long application process. I'm already considering using PayPal as payment gateway on my site.

Already I know how to create the PayPal business account to use as payment gateway ➕ the SSN/EIN issue. But I was referring 2checkout over PayPal. But since 2checkout is acting funny, I will have to use PayPal instead.

Not responding to many applications, but selected few. Their application procedure is hell. Anyways, ain't using them anymore but stripe, lately switched to shopify payment through stripe before I shutdown my store, been too busy of late, having accumulated tasks, is affecting my productivity...

Your EIN covers that but you did have to key in 0001 or 00000001 as the case maybe.

I'm currently having issues with which payment gateway to use, I have my store built and loaded with products already. I previously tried using shopify payments using my brother in the US ssn n bank details, I successfully sold 2 products of about $77 but then dey blocked my account telling me the bank details couldn't be verified cos it didn't match my credit card details. Can anyone help with which payment gateway to use? 2checkout is being a b*tch with their long process

2checkout is no longer answering new accounts from Nigeria. They havent responded to new merchant applications for a shopify store. I really cant say why it is so.

Just get a Payoneer Account, they will give you a bank account. Seeing that you already setup your store and is making sales already, using stripe payment might be a bit difficult cos you'd have to provide tax details for previous month(s) transactions. Get an EIN from USA IRS; hope you already have an idea of how to do so, fill up the SSA form, provide your tax details, ask them to fax your EIN confirmation letter over to you( usually 10 mins delivery tops) and fill up stripe account as a US citizen with the details you have above except address which you did have to buy or use fake one till you have money to buy. Finally, YCEE ft Reekie baby your shopify store...

I thought as much. That's how PP works. As soon as there is a change in IP address, they must ask for verification just to confirm is still you the rightful owner that is still accessing the account. Mostly is a phone verification. Looks like you didn't have a chance to verify it via phone? Or it was another form of verification they ask for?

SSN shit...gave them my EIN I got from IRS but they were adamant. Anyways, is a done issue.

I was able to overcome this problem of payment gateway after a very long research.
Today, I can dropship on eBay using PayPal Business account. 2checkout is also an option to use. Though they have a bit of long process
