@tunlex01 I appreciate.

tunlex01:

Your experience will most likely be reduced because of the B.Eng degree in Chemical engineering. More so, your business Analyst Experience is just for 4 years.
Anyone who has assessed with ACS can advise further.

Thank you @tunlex01. I am looking at going for ICT business Analyst through ACS. what I do now is basically on the analytical side.

tunlex01:

From your profile, I do not think you score will be up to what you quoted due to the fact that your degree is not relevant to your work experience. Your experience may be reduced to 4 years if it's Vetassess that will assess your job. What job are you nominating?

Also, SOL and CSOL have been renamed to MLTSSL (Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List) and STSOL (Short-term Skilled Occupation List). The former contains list of occupations that are available for visa sub-classes (189, 190, 489 and 485) whereas the latter is only available for State nomination visa sub-class .(190 and 489)

Dear all,

I appreciate the spirit in this forum. I am new to this forum and to the Australia stuff.

I have been pursuing the Canadian stuff for a while and in the process, I wrote IELTS and got band 7 across the board that will be expiring by July 2019.

I have used the calculator to run my score and below is how I stand.

189: 65
190: 70
489: 75

My background: I have B.Eng in Chemical Engineering and PGD in management. I have worked in the banking sector spanning over 10years with 14months as a professional in training. Within this period, I spent circa 4 -5 years as a Relationship manager afterward, an opportunity came and I moved to the Head office where I worked with the top level executives as a business analyst for 4 years and for over a year now as performance manager tracking the performance of business managers. I am also married with 2 kids. I am 38 years now to be 39 by April. My wife is 5years younger but she runs her show[Business].

My Issue: I do not understand what is SOL and CSOL. what do I need to do first cos am kind of confused with the terms I meet when I run through the thread.

I seriously need help.

Thanks to everyone.
