Oando is already heavily indebted. For the purchase of Agip, they only placed about 10% or less in equity; the rest is debt. Even if they get the refineries for free, they will still have to spend millions of dollars they currently don't have. It's better not to commit to too many things. They should pay off the humongous debts first before pursuing other money sinks.

In my opinion, it will not be a good idea. There is only so much that family ties can do before others start protesting.

No spoil the fun joor or else na vawulence remain

Wetin concern me sef. OANDO to $1 na him be my own.
Someone said something close to my price the other day..
He said #3k grin

If you have good 8-9 digits, you might want to start considering these infrastructure funds' managers if you haven't. Its just plugged to essentials of our economy. Its just a sit back and watch your money work.

That is a good dream, I doubt if you will see it at sub 20 in the immediate. ETERNA is now the lowest oil and gas stock and once improvements come with q3 and possibly maybe DANGOTE refinery pms lifting
arrangements. Enterna will move by combination of three factors: improvements, announcement & sentiment concerning where others dey

Let's keep watching

MARKETJJC:

Really? Senior as long as Oando is matching forward, ETERNA is Oando junior brother, also announcement from eterna is in pipeline and third quarter results will come with improvements

I won't sell mine because I want to add them to my dividend stocks...

I'll buy more if I see it at my usual entry which is always sub 20

Please make the detail analysis so we all can learn and benefit from it. It may be useful and applicable to other scenarios or stocks in the future

This is why I still appreciate someone like Bovali for the transparency in her detailed analysis of Oando's historic financial performance. Her analysis could have helped a lot of people. I disagreed with her only on the idea of limiting investment appraisals to only past financial ratios whilst totally ignoring significant (or major) post balance sheet events that could potentially impact future prospects, performance and earnings of the company.

The struggle to make some wealth, the NGX and life itself will not end even if Oando is no more in existence (delisted), so we should not let the controversies about Oando stifle us out of anything that could be of benefit to people, generally.

I won't because I don't want to sound as a hater of anyone's joy

I will talk about another stock when the time is ripe

Pressure from Oando haters. I didn't see their antics initially but I know better now.

I am even buying another 10,000 units of Oando this morning. Oando has no business being a stock under ₦100.

We have evil people in here.... I don't just know why they are against #teamOando, maybe is their innate hate for the president or his family.

This is wrong to say... Try and remove emotions in the game of wealth and you'd get it easily but if not eh...

I doubt if there's anyone here that hates any team... You are only warned to be cautious in your dealings with any stock whether it's Aradel, Eterna, Prestige etc or not

Don't throw caution to the wind while you still have it

The way people are hyping Oando and Aradel now is exactly how BUBBLES are formed in the stock market. The news about Aradel buying Olo and Olo West oil fields was out some 2 to 3 weeks ago, and is now being recycled as breaking news. People should be careful because bubbles do burst. This is just a caution. Please don't read me wrong. There is a famous Buffet saying to be afraid when others are not.

If not that I have decided not to talk about Oando again... I would have made a detailed analysis of what this will lead to but let Mr Time do the talking

If no news about the food any moment soon... Any further loss from sugar/salt might not be funny in the price correction further

@designking

The Wealthng platform does not look legit.

1. The prices of certain stocks are 'outdated' e.g. TOTAL is currently 388.9 (NGX: 618.30), OKOMU is 292 (NGX: 417.70), OANDO is 16.4 (NGX: 69.95)
2. Some stocks are still listed e.g. ARDOVA, UNIONBANK.
3. There is not place to fill in CHN, CSCS, BVN, NIN
4. They do not have an official bank account. Payment is by FLUTTERWAVE (if you know, you know) cool
5. They do not appear to have a regulator...

The good news is that you are yet to buy (I really hope so).
My advice is RUN! smiley
