For this thread, we suppose don get connect/contact for all these agencies. But how do we pay them? These are some of the things to be discussed here (though I know being in a group will be more feasible).

Glithronix:

Good afternoon, boss.
Apologies for my late response.
Well, for any good or bad roads, the government will always answer for it, whether at state or federal level.

You see this salary work vs e-hailing driving, me I no want dey put mouth. Cos the chairman that always fires catapult at salary eaners has his target audience and those ones know themselves. There are lots of people who earn millions in salary and there are those whose your 500k add-on is their 12/11/10/9/8/7/6 or 5 months salary. It is not all of us that would have that kinda opportunity that earns you such amount on a trip assignment. That chairman had already described his target audience and definitely, his catapult won't hit every salary earner and I don't think people should have problem with him.
Shebi na salary work I been dey do before I switched, I knew what I was looking for and the difference is remarkable FOR ME.
I am business oriented, not in the salary career realm at all.
This that I'm doing at the moment, is not where I'm going. I want to achieve 2 things here, once I gat them, it's a goodbye to the hustle. My prayers be say make nothing hinder me.
That doesn't mean that people that have been doing it for that 10 years you said have nothing else they doing. I know 3 of my friends who are house owners already from this e-hailing hustle and if you see them, you would argue they are drivers. They're property agents now.
All the e-hailing voltrons we're seeing on this thread, by the time they leave many people behind, that's when we go realize say everybody gets plans.
Your point is well understood as to those who chose it as a career job without any planned exiting alternatives. Those ones ehhhn. grin grin
Much respect, boss.
πŸ’―...

Please everyone let this argument die today. Make everyone choose what favours them. If u want to combine the two, good!

Let's share experience!!

Barbiturate:

Some fares used to be very cheap even in the former Rida App. Just ignore the cheap ones. I took a lady from osapa to MM2 for 7600 on Rida. About an hour ride. On our way, she got a call from another driver.....apparently she ordered 2. So she asked which App is mine, I said Rida. She shouted "Nooo Na" I asked what happened, she said she was supposed to follow the other driver on bolt, that it was cheaper...btw 4 to 5k. She said she didn't check before entering. I just ignored her and continued.

The problem with the new Rida App is that they restrict the fare bid for drivers.
Secondly, the new app doesn't show time to pick up. It only shows km or m.
That kind feeling, na to kickdown to reach ur destination and collect ur money.

You have touched on some of the issues that they're not looking at. They think these arbitrary demands will not have a knock-on effect on the whole ecosystem. Raise fares arbitrarily and shrink the customer base. Your 10 trips of 2k each become 5 trips of 3k each. Raise fares but landlords must not raise rent.
Regulators would not also look at protecting customers?
Reduce commission but continue to provide services to keep the app running. Is it only drivers that have been impacted by increased operating costs?
People talk like they have no idea how businesses are run.

Also, Rida and InDrive came in to fill that gap bolt and Uber have left, make Dem use those two nau

Wrong at the bolded all drivers should or be forced to go on strike.

Anytime there is a strike the union or members forces every other staff to join either by blocking entrance to office or go into office to tell them to join. Some go as far as pulling off electric supply.

Even doctors will stop new admission and monitor that others comply.

Crvrider and other drivers observing strike should begin to send drivers to 2nd rainbow, spoil the driver score and bonuses.
This happen every time (get your neighbors phone keep making request and frustrating them)
Make juicy request on inDriver and leave them to struggle for it and salivate
Remember last time union were making request and impounding cars of drivers too, just to frustrate them
I went to national Staduim to join the peaceful protest then before police came to arrest first 4 cars.
And? Finish it joor cheesy

This is to remind you not to just rant on a faceless forum, rather you should lead a protest to DSS office and insist that Peter Obi should be arrested, better still, you can find your way to Agulu, his hometown to effect the arrest.
Personally, I advice you go with the latter, by so doing you won't just be fulfilling your wish but also helping to feed the Crocs at Agulu lake, more details will be available when you get there..
cheesy grin End of Discussion!

Seriously speaking, our government should be ashamed of themselves (wallahi).
All roads are bad. Big-big pot holes everywhere.
Y'all know the numbers of damaged roads we will encounter on the entire island/Lekki-epe express way to & fro.
Imagine!
This rain is even exposing all the crap they claimed to have done on some areas.
Not to talk of a whole 3rd mainland bridge.
Omoh, shame dey catch me for this government I swear.
Make 3rd mainland bridge that's even recognized as the longest in Africa dey in that condition. Are they waiting for those damaged spots on 3MB to start causing accident before they fix them?
Shame on all the government officials. And they are driving through 3MB ohhh (to-&-fro).
Imagine how long it took them to fix the entrance to 3MB when you're coming from clinic road going to iyana oworo. They had to do it for campaign.
WTF is this government doing?
When did they do the express of Iyana Ifako to Iyana Ogudu bus stop? That road don get contour wey fit cause accident if you no hold your wheel tight?
I swear, this government should be ashamed of their existence.
All roads are bad and they won't fix them until accident starts happening.
Even street lights no dey for night for 3MB again?
What Thafuck!
Lekki-epe road..... Activate toll plazas and see the roads fixed. They will want the road to damage to the extent they will use the tolls collection as an excuse.

As for 3MB, the govt is not sincere. Wicked souls.

just tell me one thing that could be the problem between dav1002 and CheerfulGiver to the extent that the former came here to gaslight the latter attempting to shame him because he thought he hired him as a driver.

it's witchcraft I tell you cry
At least, he could have finished what he started than hanging the matter and accusing one without giving full info.
