As a tax consultant my thinking was that you would have asked him his total package then do the calculation to see if 5k is much or not...

I pay close to 13k monthly as tax so it's based on your gross income.

Anyway I suggest he request for the tax schedule or tax receipt for confirmation.

But if what u need is just a guess estimate, for 4bedroom & 2 detached single rooms, u can budget something around 8m(na guess ooo)....for raft like u said it will likely cost more...
