Politics / Re: The Right Time To Ditch The US Dollar In Nigeria - BRICS by Minsk24: 9:15am On Feb 26
Brics Should stop noisemaking and get to action , u cannot usurp us dollars without providing an alternative, countries trading with their own currency is a stupid move that will not see the light of day. ..why will china want to accumulate Egyptian pounds that it is not sure of its volatility and will find it difficult to interchange....brics must get to work and work out a new currency....
If they cannot bring up an alternative, let them keep quiet, i dont even see the importance of this organization so far...

Ok i can now see your problem .....Black or dark skinned to you automatically means Negro. There's nothing new in the article you linked, popular opinion among scientific community is that the early man came from Africa, and that all humans evolved from that man. What that man looked like no one knows for sure, was he dark skinned? was he half ape half man? no one knows for sure, as a matter of fact it is very likey that lighter skin tones evolved from darker skin tones with time......but this is not same thing as saying the White race is an off shoot of the Negro race, as far as I can see there is no genetic, linguistic or anthropological evidence to back that up.
You are very intelligent, this is a very logical response, remember before modern man, there existed a variety of humanoid species on Earth, coming here to say albinos from Africa formed other races on earth is just so ridiculous

Thankfully, we now have strong academic research teams investigating the OBVIOUS CONNECTION between Edo Benin and the Edo Period of Japan. I suggest that interested folks with a working brain unlike this dunce above save the link and keep an eye on their research, because their findings could be explosive:

“Several literatures exist on the history and culture of Edo (Benin) and Edo Tokyo (Japan). In these works there is nothing to show that at any point in history, the two cultures had a common appeal, culturally or politically, to warrant an established link : there is no account of the immediate circumstance of past relationship between these two relatively distant communities. But it is observed that both cultures share similar lexical construction, monarchical system and mode of dressing, religious worship and traditional architectural design. It is as a result of this observation that this study is making a (pioneering) case for possible relationships that may have existed between them in the past. We shaped insights into hypotheses and set up research design in quest of the additional variables, which we are sure would bring people out of doubts and enable us to describe out points with sufficient precision to diagnose and predict. Using historical, ethnographical and comparative approaches, this study draws on the example of correlation, probability and logic. It examines several hypotheses that explain the cultural correlation and proposes its own logic to show the possible relationship and the dynamics of cultural systems between the two Edo peoples. Our findings may, perhaps, shed more light on aspects that are not clear, to the generality of people on the culture of these two Edo peoples”

Please what is similar between Japanese mode of dressing and architecture with benin people? Kai, u never cease to amaze me...
Japanese architecture that is similar to Chinese, Korean and other surrounding people in east asia, similar dressing with same people, and u are bringing benin, benin get architecture?
What is the similarity in the monarchy system abeg? Please state it
And the crazy fact is that, The word EDO in Japanese means "mouth of bay" or Tokyo
The edo period was the period of the tokugawa shogunate....how does this relate to edo people abeg?
The tokugawa shogunate was founded by tokugawa leyasu, his picture and origins are known in japan
Make i also knock ur empty head, the Edo period was characterized by an isolationist foreign policy, so how did they maintain communication with the benin empire back and forth?
I must put sense into ur brain today

THANKS. WE’VE HEARD YOU.

ILLITERATE.

BYE BYE.

GET LOST.

I am not going anywhere, i must cure your craze today, how benin empire will leave expanding around west Africa and go across the world to conquer Japan, Japan a massive sophisticated nation with millennia of history will have been overrun by benin empire...
How benin empire constructed an armada that would have sailed around the world, conquer japan and ruled it to the 1800's and we dont have any concrete proof...
We dont see the impact on benin society, we dont have documentations either in benin or Japan, the benin migrants that ruled japan disappeared into thin air...
Do u know how wealthy the benin empire would have been if really they controlled Japan? America had to send its Navy to force the edo shoguns to open up the country for trade...
All these black history channels on YouTube and Facebook that are creating false black history,i just wonder what the aim is....
And if u talk about linguistic similarities, such things are common all over the world...
The people of plateau state have similar words with korea and Mandarin ...
You have this similarities across the world with cultures that had limited interactions...
These similarities probably might be tru trade and cultural exchange, but not conquest especially for benin...
There are similar words in igbo and Yoruba, but none of these ethnicities conquered each other...
With DNA, there is no proof from reputable sources and it is impossible for a big change to happen on Japan genetic pool without large scale migration...
Wake up and stop trying to boost your self esteem as a black man with lies

Use your head and stop being stupid.

First of all we don't know HOW they got there.

But we KNOW they were there.

If you watch that video and still doubt that they were there, then something is definitely wrong with your head!

You are not well!

1500s to 1897 is nearly 400 years by which time the West African kingdoms had been weakened by the slave trade and the various wars and disruptions resulting therefrom. So mentioning the British Invasion of 1897 is ludicrous.

No European power could defeat Benin in the 1500s or 1600s at the height of its power.

U carry video that has no factual or historical evidence of conquest and u want to use it as fact, are u not ashamed of yourself?
How else would the naval fleet have gone to japan if not going tru the south Africa? There was no suez canal then...benin empire never had a history of huge naval fleet ..
The british invasion is important to this discourse, if edo people invaded Japan, then it means that Japan was part of the benin empire, meaning that there would have been back and forth correspondence between japan and benin...and since the edo period ended in 1868 before the British invasion, it then means that the benin people still had control of japan before the americans forced the edo shoguns to open up the country....
This story is so stupid walahi.... because someone brings up rubbish in a YouTube video and cites unverified sources, then u believe it?
For over 2 centuries, Japan was part of the benin empire and we dont have indisputable proofs today?

Who the hell said the Edos were their ancestors?

Nobody said that!

The video was saying that the Edos sent some bands of fighter troops there, and they eventually seized power at some point and began the Edo Period which lasted 2 centuries.

Nobody said the Edos were the ancestors of the Japanese!

Watch the video properly and understand what they are saying!
Edo sent fighter troops all the way from Africa to go and seize power in Japan? Una get sense at all? Chai Japanese people don suffer..
All this in 1608, even edo people dont have such record, do you know the kind of naval fleet that it would have required to undertake such mission? This lie too much, rostikol and co, i pull cap for una
Edo invaded Japan, after the sengoku period, united the different factions under one rule and ruled untill the 1800's....so during the isolationist period of Japan under the edo period, it was edo people that were shogun?
So edo people invaded Japan with such huge fleet but had no fleet to repel the British in 1897?

The Edos probably arrived there a century or more before they actually seized power.

Illiterate with inferiority complex.

Oh sure, everything in video there is just a ''coincidence'', because you have no brain.

Thankfully, the rest of the 5,000+ people worldwide who saw the VERY OBVIOUS CONNECTIONS, appreciated the video.

Of course you know more than them with your village dropout head.

Guy are u this dumb? Japanese that have more than a millennia of history? Then u are saying people who arrive in the 1600's are their ancestors? It is plausible that edo people came to Japan, it could be for trade, and then cultural exchanges happened, but to insinuate that edo people conquered Japan or are their ancestors, i dont know what to call you ..

My brother, I have heard about the Moors, but your assertion is categorically false. Which Black Africans ruled Europe fore centuries? West Africans? South Africans? East Africans? How did they rule Europe exactly and please provide your source and evidence. What exactly have we contributed to the modern world? Who are our philosophers, scientists, historians, mathematicians, etc who are studied by experts all over the world? Even right now you and I are debating in a foreign language. Is there a website wherein West Africans engage in their native lanugage? Do Africans get educated in their native languages? Do Africans practice their native religions with pride? I don't mean a minority but as a whole we don't do these things.

Culturally, we have been dominated by the American way of living, the American/European way of governing, American/European manner of dressing and this is why we millions of Africans desire to "japa" to foreign nations. Technologically, we produce nothing. We are a laughing stock amongst the comity of nations because we contribute nothing to the development of the world, especially when it comes to research in the medical field, semiconductors, military apparatus, economics etc.

There are millions of Africans with foreign names. Have you ever met a white European named Segun, Folasade, Chinedu, etc? But we ruled them for centuries? Don't you find it curious that whenever a Black man has to defend himself he brings up history from more than a millenium ago? History that has nothing to with us because our direct ancestors knew nothing about sea navigation to the point that they would have built a boat. Our recent history is littered with slave trade, colonization, corruption, and moral decay. It is what it is.
Bro this people have been severely brainwashed, they self-service on the arab/berber conquest of the iberian peninsula and over exaggerate the facts...yes it was the ummyad caliphate that conquered those areas, over time the berbers (amazigh) took over governance as the abbasid and co weakend...

Exactly, all the features that White people found in a person to consider them "purely Caucasian" are found in African albinos: blonde air, pale skin with freckles, blue eye, eyebrow with blonde air, etc

This is a very popular WWE wrestler, Brock Lesnar. He is considered by many as the Whitest among the White people, tell me the difference between him and African albinos?
How is this whitest among whites? Who is coining up such term, u people speak ignorantly as if white people all have particular kind of skin tone...u can still differentiate a white person from an albino with ease ..
U have white people with different appearance all over Europe, the people of Northern Europe have different skin tone from people of the iberian peninsula...u can also spot a difference between Slavic people and Caucasians in asia...
This albino theory is nonsense....so how come no recessive DNA from black people survived in the albinos that migrated...their hair started getting curly, with pointed nose and distinct features...

Good idea to an extent, but u cannot just ban import, not every product can make economic sense to be produced in Nigeria, Nigeria first has to tackle insecurity and create a good business environment... the government should observe specific sectors where Nigeria can have a competitive edge in manufacturing and make necessary long term plans including more massive education for the youth to increase talent pool....
Simply put, manufacturing must be well planned because we have a globalized economy now, u have to carefully find out sectors that u can have a competitive edge ...
