taharqa: No noticeable infrastructural work at Yola Airport? Chei!! Bros, the fact that you can say the above bare-face lie about smtin I know very much about (which I know little about), renders yr other assertion very suspect...

Sincere 9gerian:
Nonsense! You made categorical statements as if the federal ministry of works is telling lies. I got my information from the federal ministry of works and the federal ministry of works has no reason to tell lies in terms of project execution, either now or in the past.

From that link, as at late 2008 there was still CONFUSION as to how to repair the Yola-Numan road. Contractor was not on site and no work was going on. FERMA could not even carry out palliative repairs because the cost was much more than what they can carry. That is a FACT from that link. I think we should only say what we'r sure of.

On the Yola Airport, maybe you need to read the report below:

"The FAAN General Manager, Public Affairs, Mr. Yakubu Dati, stated this at the weekend in Yola after inspecting facilities at the airport.

Yola Airport is part of the 22 network of airports that are being remodelled across the country.

“After inspection, I can see that the project is completed, what we have got left is just tidying up and cleaning up the facility for commissioning” he said.

According to him, the “Yola airport is one of the airports designated for perishable cargo operations and the reconstruction was from the scratch. The facility that we have before is hardly a quarter of what we have on the ground now. The new facility is to ensure that Yola has a terminal; befitting of its status”.

“The 1500 Yola Airport facility is ready. We are just awaiting the date for the commissioning” he assured"

Sincere 9gerian: Work on the Yola Airport has been going on despite the very high level of insecurity in the state. FACT!
Say what? Insecurity in adamawa? ROFL....

Sincere 9gerian:
People out of hatred and implacable bitterness just come online to vomit rubbish. Do you think the federal ministry of works would lie about a road project?

Read the report below. As at 2008, the contractor to which the road was awarded to had not even mobilized to site, not to talk of starting work. Let me bring out the relevant part of the report:

"According to Engr. Vanoka, the contract for the Yola-Numan road had been awarded PW Nig. Ltd, but due to one reason or the other the company had not mobilized to site. He said with effect from November the project would be given to another company so that they could begin work on the site in earnest. He said the cost of the Yola Numan Road is far above the scope of work that can be handled by FERMA"

I love good governance but i dont care for lies..Any nairaland living in yola can back me up surely. The Airport has nothing going on and Yola-Numan road has been good a while....Still dont know why FG is doing nothing about the Yola-Mubi and Numan-Lamurde-Billiri Road

SIR cum a lot:

Thanks I'll check my training facilites
I do you develop some of your wonderkid with a lot of potential ?
I had sanogo age 23 for two seasons he dropped from 4star potential to two star and I made sure he plays at least 12 games every one of those seasons am trying to avoid the same with Raheem Sterling coz he is the heir to my right wing my coaches have reported growth but not as exponential as I expected.
If a players gets to 22, then its highly unlikely to see exponential variations to his stats but its wise to target 17-21 yr old with first team action/proper loan

The Yola-Numan Road is a Lie...that road has been good since 2008/09...The Numan-Billiri Section has been and its still a disaster. Also there is NO noticeable infrastructual remodelling at the yola airport.

daywatcher: see how the report did not give details of how it was well preserved by a Nigerian..off course they will not because that will be portraying Nigeria in a good light.

Common don't be silly......It was found at a TV station where obviously it was aired some time ago...Can't categorically term that preservation
