Experience ke? What criteria did they actually use for shortlisting? I have a friend who has vast experience & international trainings/certifications in drilling that wasn't called but someone without experience was called for Production Operator role. Goodluck guys.

LOL,
I have done my best, infact I couldnt have done any better but when I think of the caliber of the present competition (fellow applicants) especially those on my group/day, "afraid they catch me".
hmnn, if you see smart, brilliant chaps from all the best schools in uk on all d top scholarships (shell, mobil, nlng etc). no one needs to tell you to pray.
infact I have prayed, vowed, prayed, sowed seed, asked my pastor to pray, vowed again and again, it almost looks like am trying to bribe God.
@tk4rd. you want make i pray harder, the next thing is dry fasting oh
hehheheh
dry fasting till NLNG sends the reply

Bro, hope you were not looking at the personalities that were in your group during your AC day because that might have a negative effect on someone's performance. My advice for you is anytime you are doing anything like competition , believe in yourself, work hard, believe that you are the best among your competitors, don't think/believe that your competitors are better or threat to your success and pray to Almighty God. Cheers.

No indigenous company would pay a fresh grad 300k after tax. Am not debating what they pay, if it's good or not. Am saying No company would pay that amount to a fresh grad. Anybody can come on here to say anything just as I am saying, there is a range for salaries of fresh grad, That's what it is.

Guy you dey learn work. I know of a small indigenous company( name withheld) that pays fresh graduate basic salary of more than N250,000 and field allowance of N30K per day. The guys stay a minimum of 2 weeks per month. So in a month they go home with a minimum of 700k. Go and do your research.

UpdateAll:
Happy Sunday to all NLNG hopefuls, grin cheesy grin
I have been on hibernation for sometime now and I have been reading every post here through the sidelines.
Occasionally, I will be dropping relevant info with regards to 2014 NLNG GT assessment. Here is an info I got from a very reliable person; the assessment center is on hold due to Ebola and as soon as WHO confirms that Nigeria is Ebola free, the invites for the AC will be rolled out and the exercise will subsequently kick off.
This info has been partly confirmed by Dplacement. No one should ask me for sauce; if you need sauce, check your kitchen. wink cool

Does it mean that NLNG did not believe/trust FG declaration of Nigeria as Ebola free ? Ok, the trusted WHO declared Nigeria as Ebola free today.

We were not born with the CAR and STAR method programmed in our head, we learnt it either from forums or reading articles.. Please allow him learn

Guy, there is nothing wrong with what @SolutionsGuy said. For Christ sake, we are all graduates and we don't have to be lazy. There are

internet and research materials for us to help/improve in ourselves.

@Jazz04, pls dont take what @SolutionGuy said/replied you as an insult but take it as a challenge and an opportunity to improve in yourself.

Wish you guys the best .

I slumped when I heard the news at 8am as I was about to resume work. then I cried like a baby...then drove with tears in my eyes to see my dad...and he was crying! I could have passed out. The worst was when as tradition demands I go and identify her (being her first son) at d mortuary. For the first time in my life my mum wouldn't answer me when I called....they say Jesus wept...I went beyond weeping o.
I owe every one of you my deepest gratitude...I will individually thank all of you when I am done
Thank y'all for encouraging me so far

Bro, take heart. The great people here and everywhere have said it all. Those are the challenges of life and it's always very painful . The Lord is your strength and will always make your family to come back strong. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
You don't really need to stress yourself by replying us individually because with the last statement , we know you have thanked all for encouraging you both physically and spiritually. Take care.

Hi all. There's no reason to be impatient. 15 wks elapsed btw the 1st and 2nd test so it could be worse.
@ MOBIL11, I think regardless of when the advert is placed, resumption is always at the start of the year (pls correct me if I'm wrong)

Sorry, am seeing this now. You could be right cos January or start of next year will make it a minimum of 15 months( recruitment process).

Babe, calm down and concentrate on other things so that it doesn't weigh you down. NLNG GT recruitment from date of advert publication to resumption normally take about 15 to 18 months. Next month will make it 12 months or 1 yr, so roughly we have at least 4 to 5 months left . I pray ours will not take that long. Relax, NLNG will call us when they are ready for us. Shalom.

I don't know why am always happy anytime you post anything here. For health and safety reasons, considering the number of people needed for
AC where there must be adequate contact, the interview date will be after Ebola disease challenges have been rectified. Hmmmmm, interview no be today oh !!!. Ebola why ??

But Dpress, what you did was not good either. Some people in that UAC thread fainted and had BP issues after you gave them such information.

Pls Dpress don't play with someone's emotion.

vantage7: Okay here's my attempt but it is based on one huge assumption: A person holding the torch midway on the bridge can use it to illuminate the way up to either end of the bridge.

Then,

Adeyinka (5) and Adesuwa (7) cross together at the speed of Adesuwa, with Adeyinka holding the torch, then when they get halfway, Adeyinka stops and Adesuwa continues to the end, which takes 7mins. Then, Adeyinka still holding the torch at the middle of the bridge illuminates the way for Audu to cross, and he does in 1min. Then, Adeyinka still holding the torch at the middle of the bridge illuminates the way for Amaka to meet him at the middle of the bridge, which takes her 1min (since it takes her 2 minutes to cross, so 1 minute to the middle assuming uniform speed). Then both of them (Adeyinka and Amaka) cross together from the middle to the end at the speed of Adeyinka which takes them 2.5mins (since it takes Adeyinka 5 minutes to cross, so 2.5 minutes from the middle assuming uniform speed).

So, 7mins+1min+1min+2.5mins=11.5 minutes = under 12 minutes

A few other iterations of the same approach will yield the same result.

Nice attempt but this can only work when the length of the bridge is short. If it was Third Mainland bridge, this cannot be feasible. In answering such questions we should look out all possibilities and make several assumptions before making a decision. If it was a short bridge then this works but if it was a long bridge 14 mins works. In group exercise , most times the end result is not actually what assessors are looking for but mainly the means to the end result.

airsaylongcon: So we are many that passed like this? shocked. You pipo should PLEASE stop this "I have been silently following this thread since Adam"... Iron sharpeneth iron, razor blade sharpeneth razor blade. Whatever you can contribute here is very relevant. Read up the material and light up the thread tomorow I beg of y'all

PS: I have exceeded my time limit and responded to all requests up to 8:20pm. I am NO LONGER RESPONDING TO REQUESTS FOR MATERIALS.

You are right on so many silent followers and new usernames. I can remember the great people that worked very hard to maintain this thread by contributing positively and sharing great ideas. Where were all these silent followers? Were they siphoning information without contributing? Did they come out of their shells because no one was contributing effectively? Chaiiiiiiii, the silent followers have taken over this thread from most of the people that laboured for this thread. What a life. There may be an atom of truth in what @mcpat said that most of the people that got NLNG job in 2007 were not active members.

Chai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, where was i when you gave an opportunity for us to ask questions? Infact , i have many critical unanswered questions with respect to NLNG recruitment. Thank you very much for you contributions to this great thread. Is like you are a "LAWYER" because of the way you answered those questions. We still need your presence in this thread.

DPlacement:

Training is dependent of job function. The engineers in Production were sent on foreign training immediately as the they would be unable to perform without the requisite training. Foreign training is available to officer level staff once in every two years after confirmation. Any exceptions will usually require justifications.

Most of the Graduate trainees attended multiple local trainings in the first year of employment.

Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, Caring.

If you get the job, your family will make you take it. You will most likely more than double your current salary before tax.

There was no gamechanger. I just showed up and performed. God is in charge!

1. Its a great place to work. NLNG is an employer of choice in Africa.

3. Competitive

7. 1998, 2004, 2008, 2015

8. The last one took place at Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.

10. Yes

drealaz24: I came back from night shift. i tried checking my mail before going to sleep, then I saw the subject NNLG GT RECRUITMENT FEEDBACK. my hearts race probably @ a thousand meter per hour. I couldn't open it , then rush back to the thread and starts reading successful and unsuccessful comments.

when I read the last comment, 'O boy' 'na to check mine now o' was the thought on the mind.

Using slow motion technique, i stroll to Gmail again, click the subject and immediately look away.

chai, it ain't easy!

I covered the phone with my Palm and started bringing it down in such a 'Mikel' motion.

My story would have been better or sweeter if I had seen or gotten 'a success mail'.

All the same, I still give thanks to God (Alhamdulillah) for everything. I wish those who got the success mail good luck and I pray God should provide for 'US' too a better offer.

Signing Out.

I forgot to say you guys are wonderful, have learned a lot from this thread. Thanks

You have finished Mikel. Better things await all. My BP was so high before I opened my mail irrespective of the fact that I know I did excellently well in the SHL Test. We are not better than those that didn't make it and nobody is a god here . @All, everyone here is good whether successful or not.
@Savant, I love the way you analyzed those questions on restaurant stuff. Keep it up .
