Mr Man, I am not here to derail this thread ok. Out business here is to pass genuine information to job seekers. I am not here to be arguing 3rd class or 1st class neither am I here to seek for job as I have been gainfully employed in a top notch agency for a very long time. Lastly, only fools argue. So believe what you want to believe. If you have genuine information keep sharing to those that may need. Peace
danqujigy:
Bros this type of policies doesn't work anywhere in Nigeria. NNPC, NDIC, NCC, NFIU and CBN employed people with 3rd class. Go and do underground investigations and comeback and tell us your outcome between you and your God you worship

Please I want to make something clear on this 3rd class issue. I am not against anyone having a third class ooo. The thing I am trying to point out is that some agencies made it part of their recruitment policy not to recruit third class holders that is why when placing adverts they state categorically what they want. I know of someone that wrote CBN aptitude test only to be declined at interview because of third class. DSS wasn’t recruiting third class holders until recently. I think they started last year with the first set graduating from training school. People will just come here and be peddling connection connection. A policy remains a policy shaa.

Yes connection does work everywhere, even in the United States of America referral works wonders. But people make it as if without connection you can’t make it. This discourages people which is not good. This same NNPC recruitment people are shouting connection here but we have seen people that got without knowing anybody and there are people who did not get despite being children of somebody. There is no harm in trying your luck who knows where your destiny lies. What God has written for you will never escape you. For those that believe, keep trying and praying it is God that gives.

People got NNPC job on merit. Please stop peddling what is not true. We say testimonies from people that got without knowing anybody. A member of NNPC Board submitted list in the last recruitment exercise and only 1 person got from that list and it was based on merit. Well, first class is not a guarantee to getting any job automatically. So many first class graduates fail at CBT or Interview stage. Please change your topic
Aliyumichika:

thats the criteria,bt guy even if you graduated with first class with cgpa of 5.00,once u dnt hav connection jst 4gt

@Aliyumichika this is my earlier post. Where did you see FIRS here? Please comprehend first before you comment on any post. Thanks
Modikko:
Some agencies don’t accept third class, like CBN, NNPC, NDIC. Check the last NNPC recruitment criteria and see. Even a 2:2 graduate needs masters for NNPC

God bless you. People think some of these agencies are loose with their recruitment policies. Any doubting thomas can try their luck and please don’t forget to come back and brief us here.
NekkyCee:
I think he's right with regards NNPC. I had a discussion with a senior management staff last year. He disclosed that for anyone to be able to assist any candidate get into NNPC through a recommendation or any other means, that candidate must have at least met the minimum requirements. Someone was willing to assist a friend of mine that applied last year but because he didn't make the CBT, it didn't work out again.

danqujigy:
Thank you for calling me a liar. I know of someone who didn't submit application and he is working in one of this agencies. He is a third class holder. I am sorry to say that I am 22years old in Abuja and I will tell you how things are done in these agencies and not you telling me. Employment adverts my foot

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Monthly Net Salary Of Federal Government Ministries, departaments, Agencies And P by Modikko(m): 1:06pm On May 31, 2020
That is a pure lie. CBN, NNPC third class? My friend you are lying. Yes OND are junior cadre. Every organization has a mixture of it. I never talked about OND. Its not by force to comment on what you don’t know please
danqujigy:
Bros there are alot of people with 3rd class working in CBN, NNPC, NFIU and NDIC. Agencies only include classes of degree in order to reduce applicants. Even OND certificate holders full these agencies.
Any class of degree you have just make sure you have A class connection then the job is yours

Most times State Governors are our problem in Nigeria but everyone keeps blaming Mr President. Just look at this nonsense. As a State Governor you are meant to ensure that you protect your state and enforce whatever policy that works. But no, they are only after money that gets into their pockets. Look at how they are even grumbling with State Legislature and Judiciary Autonomy. Better start holding your State Governors to account for everything within their domain. Good governance start from home

Boss Modikko and those who know, abeg can an English Education graduate work in FIRS? second class upper though. Abeg I need answer so to check if I can have a valid connect.

[Wquote author=Modikko post=90134046]As regards this ES PEF, I have read so many comments from people here. To be honest, I know the man personally. Frankly speaking the man “no dey help at all” since he became ES his relatives have been pressurizing him on job up to now nothing. The man is almost serving out his tenure in few months. I know his blood brother who is hustling to survive because the man refused to give him job. It may not be that easy as people may think. But as people suggested there is no harm in trying.
On a lighter note: If anyone has a strong connection FIRS are collecting CV but not through individuals. So don’t ask me how can you submit CV. It has to be through a highly placed connect.
Somebody asked about NDIC earlier on the thread, but that person is being economical with the truth. NDIC was actually supposed to recruit this year but COVID19 came and spoilt show. I don't know if they will still go ahead with it. Few people were called in January and some are yet to do their documentation. NDIC does not advertise, it is purely through connect. May God Bless us all
