Although CBN has better allowances, FIRS has a better salary at entry level only. But when you’re promoted to the next level in CBN, you’ll be earning a better salary than an FIRS worker who is also promoted. So go for CBN




FIRS pays graduates 255K monthly with a 13th month salary and lots of allowances that almost sum up to the salary itself. I heard the FIRS salary has been increased to 298K - I haven’t verified the increase, though. FIRS entry grade level is GL-10. This goes down through promotions to the last grade level, which is GL-1
CBN on the other hand has quite a lesser pay for fresh graduates - N184K monthly, but with a single promotion, you will be in the real game! CBN gets you allowances like housing, wardrobe, feeding and others that barely double the salary itself. This depends on if you have your accommodation or they provided one for you; and also depends on the branch that you’re based.
I reckon CBN is better than FIRS

NOTE: EFCC Training is rigorous, regimental and infact people use to die while training while some will run. They were trained together with Army Short Service Course, so the training is fully military training. The training was normally done in NDA old Site Ribadu Cantonment, and the duration is not less than 13 months without going out, no use of mobile devices.

Every staff that want to join EFCC must follow through cadet training. Right now there is no any cadet recruitment going on in EFCC, when it started you will apply by writing an application letter attached with your CV to the nearest Zonal Command in your State. so EFCC use to post adverts on of the any of the Nations Newspaper about the recruitment. but for now nothing is happening for cadet recruitment.

if you want to Join EFCC to make money, you are wrong.

There administrative staff don't go for training, the training is only applicable to operation staff, the duration of the training is 12month

Don't be deceieved, i just finished talking with a high ranking staff in efcc, bawa called him personally to bring 4 candidates and he submitted their name last week. There is going to be a recruitment not replacement. Last efcc intake of 2018/2019 did promotion this February so they need fresh junior staffs.
Get another connect this one no sure.

PS: no one should pm me no get connect or slot to give you i too i am waiting for appointment but not from efcc.

Guy, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. My connect is from head of service and the slots given to them from efcc was about two month ago. He just told me that they are about to collect the cvs from them. Efcc will recruit soon. Look for another connect or tell this one to put more pressure.

Yes the commission is not too odd but do you know that since the inception of the commission, it was headed by the police apart from the present chairman who is a product of the commission. So as it stands now, some of the staff of the commission that are police are being repatriated back to police force.

However, they will fill their position by engaging another set of people directly from the commission.
