Supporters of the movement for the actualization of Biafra, have taken to the streets in Central London demanding the release of their Nnamdi Kanu. Kanu, head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) group and director of the London-based radio station Radio Biafra.

Kanu was arrested in Lagos earlier in October, and in the wake of his arrest, there have been series of protests in the Southeastern region of Nigeria and other places around the world.
There were claims by the Department of State Services (DSS), that Kanu was released on bail, but his supporters claim that he is still being detained and is yet to resumed his activities on Radio Biafra.

A married couple died while having sex in a luxury hotel hot tub in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Charles McKenzie, 67, and Dorothy McKenzie, 63 traveled to Mexico for their daughter’s wedding but died while having sex hot bath together two days before the ceremony.

The pair’s lifeless bodies were found by their daughter who first thought that they had been killed by an electrical fault.
However, a postmortem examination showed that Mr McKenzie died from a heart attack, while his wife drowned moments later under the weight of his body.
Besides, there were no signs of forced entry or disorder in the room and a version of the violence death was rejected by police.

Tragedy stuck at the police training school on Oba Akinjobi Way in the Ikeja area of Lagos when a corporal, Elias Agi committed suicide by ingesting poison after missing out on promotion.

The Punch reports that the corporal was found dead around 7.30am in his blue Volkswagen Passat on Tuesday, November 10. He was attached to the state command of Safer Highway Patrol and was one of the officers undergoing a corporal-to-sergeant examination.

Agi reportedly passed the examination but missed out on the interview due to the fact that he resided at Badagry which was far from Ikeja where the interview took place. In frustration, he went into his car where he took the drugs that eventually cost him his life.

Police officials have arrested an evangelist who allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl in Mararaba, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state.

Sani Mohammed, a spokesman for the state’s police command, confirmed the story to newsmen in Lafia on Monday, November 9.
