Hmnn. Not who will be the next Awolowo? Are you guys serious? You’re celebrating a notorious drug lord, the most filthy politician in the history of Nigeria, a man without known identity? Someone who has succeeded in reducing a once highly educated region to an Al majors level?

I really pity for you guys. What a misguided generation. Spit!!!

Bleep all haters of this great news from Abia especially the bitter souls from yourba and Bleep all tribalistic Nairaland mods of this traibalistic forum.

Bleep you all.

You can ban as usual.

The amount of hate and bigotry coming out of that region is enough to generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity. It’s really sad how they go about with so much hate.

It’s really sad.

Aba is currently one of the safest cities in Nigeria. Which cave did you creep out from for you not to know that?
Politics / Are Nigerians Facing Energy Crises Taking Advantage Of Aba? by MrEverest(m): 11:36pm On Apr 25
Aba seems to be the only good news coming out of Nigeria in recent times. Fast improving infrastructure especially in roads, aesthetics, sanitation and above all electricity supply.

While many parts of Nige are facing severe energy crises, Aba seems to be a safe island. I have seen remote workers, particularly freelancers who left Nigeria for Ghana simply because there is stable electricity supply there. Same with some companies that also left Nigeria due to abysmal power supply. Now that Aba has that advantage Ghana used to have over Nigeria, are smart Nigerians taking advantage of it?

If you’re a Nigerian who relocated to Aba or is planning to relocate or has seen anyone who did, please share your experience here.

The great city of Ibadan.. where civilization in Nigeria started from.

When Kano was already a trading hub, hebadan was still an evil forest inhabited by wild animals. You people should stop all these lies for God’s sake.

10 people tweeting from one estate in Abia.. Ibadan city which is the largest city in West Africa is bigger than the whole of Abia, Imo and Enugu States put together so what are we saying?.

Congo is also 20 times bigger than Israel in population and landmass, but Tel Aviv alone is richer than that country.

You guys have been parroting that Ibadan is the largest city in Africa since God knows when, yet when cities are mentioned in Africa, no one ever remembers your Ibadan.

FYI, having an unproductive landmass and population is nothing but a waste of space. Imo state alone still has a larger GDP than your glorified village called Oyo.

Aba is really moving forward, and that in a very fast manner too but if you've not been to Europe, you should check out pictures from there. Europe is a world on its own and the centre of modern civilization. It won't be that easy to compare any Nigerian city with any city in the best planned continent in the world (despite their wahala).

Poland, Czech, Slovakia and other Eastern European countries are still Europe, Aba skyline doesn’t look far behind some of the cities in those places. If Alex Ottih continues to be intentional and focus more on environment, Aba will be up there in no distant future. Most Igbo cities don’t really need much facelift to look presentable, unlike Yoruba towns that will require to be demolished and rebuilt afresh for them to appear decent😆😆.

Aba is no longer a Nigerian City.

Everything Aba is looking like Europe now grin grin

Watch out for Aba skyline in the next few years. People were busy building 4 and 5 storey buildings everywhere without electricity, and tenants had to climb all those stairs, imagine what is going to happen now that there is 24/7 light for lift to function efficiently.

I repeat, wait for Aba in the next few years!!!

Instead of the drug lord to work after criminally snatching a mandate that doesn’t belong to him, he is busy recruiting thousands of ebin pawa urchins to be posting and liking their rubbish on Nairaland.

Tinubu is indeed a curse on Nigeria, this man has destroyed a lot and continues to destroy this country just for his own selfish interests.

Good and reasonable African country ruled by a sane president, with sane citizens!

Imagine a single dam in Tanzania generates over 2000 megawatts!!! The country has to shut down several other power plants because of excess capacity!!! An African country ooo!!! Not in Asia, not Europe, not North America!!!

Yet another country in Africa, ruled by a drug lord criminal and infested with equally insane citizens can’t even generate enough to give themselves ordinary constant electricity. This same foolish country of subhumans has lots of natural hydro resources, vast gas and oil, coal, wind, sunlight etc. but they keep living like animals!!!

I didn’t mention the name of this utterly useless country but anyone who reads this knows that country.

Spit!
