Lots of families especially indigenes are relocating back home as we speak. Many of them now have their kids in Anambra schools. The state is on a rapid rise.

Politics / Anambra Emerges Tops In Transparency Rating by Myluv1: 7:11pm On Mar 03, 2015
Barely two weeks to its one-year anniversary, the pace-setting government of Chief Willie Obiano has scored another first in the annals of good governance.

In a report released by the Federation Accounts Sub- Committee on International Public Sector Accounting System (IPSAS) implementation, Anambra State was ranked highest in the South- East.

The South-East zone also came first in the overall ranking among the states of the Federation. With an impressive score of 80 percent, the fiscal merits of the Obiano administration’s commitment came to the fore.

Take her on a trip around to show her how Nigerian family support one another. Explain your situation to her and to your family too. Help teach them how to fish anew by means of capita... Do not jeopardize your happiness cos of your sense of duty. God will direct your footsteps.
You took it out of my mouth 100%.
@Op, it is unfortunate she did not understand the family situation in our African society. Now that is the task that must be embarked on- making her understand and deal with how we do it here. Even paying off your brother will not work because occasionally, other family commitments will demand you to part with your money again; that's the reality you and your wifey should deal with. So, for the sake of your marriage, invest heavily into making her understand how family relationships work in our society. She is now in Rome and should behave like a Roman. Trust me you won't be happy to see your family in need when you can help even if you had settled them with a million bucks. I feel for you.

Business / Re: First Nigerian-made Construction Equipment In 18 Months – Muonagolu by Myluv1: 1:27am On Feb 20, 2015
However, having agreed that this is feasible, we looked round to see where we can set up this industry and we penciled down some states and Anambra came tops.
As a matter of fact what made Anambra to emerge as a preferred destination for us to begin establishment of this assembly plant is the government’s four point agenda for development and its aggressiveness in tackling the security threat in the state. It is so exciting that up until 11pm yesterday we were still in an office holding meetings and I was impressed that things have really changed in the state.
Back in those days of insecurity, no one could have contemplated that because as early as 6pm everybody would have gone to bed for fear of kidnappers and robbers. But to the glory of God that things are changing fast here courtesy of the Willy Obiano led government.

Politics / Re: Buhari Is Running Away From Debates And Must Be Rejected Come Feb. 14 - PDP by Myluv1: 11:22am On Feb 03, 2015
“We have been informed that General Buhari and the APC have decided not to participate in the NPAN-CHANNELS Television-organised debate after they had earlier agreed to take part in it.

“We had thought that having withdrawn from participating in the debate organised by Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON), they would have availed themselves this second platform.
“Now that they have also turned their back on this, it is now very clear that General Buhari is incapable of engaging in rigorous live television debates on the issues of governance. It speaks about his intellectual laziness and his loss of touch with contemporary issues of development and statecraft.

“We would like to reiterate that the APC has something to shield about General Buhari. He has campaigned in some states of the federation attacking President Jonathan’s handling of insurgency, corruption and economy. Now there is a platform on which both candidates can engage each other on these issues and he (Buhari) is running away.

“It is a disgrace to the APC and their candidate that they would treat everybody with contempt. The organisers of the debates are interested in promoting a robust culture of debates so that people can listen to the candidates and make informed choices on the basis of their arguments.

Championing ? really What sectors exactly. What are the numbers Which sectors other han oil have attracted FDI and how much?? How much have these sectors contributed to the Treasury and ho many new jobs. We cannot be bamboozled by breezy brainless bluster. Soludo talked specifics . Where are the jobs That have been created by this government. We borrowed money from Chinese to build roads and awarded the contracts to Chinese who brought in Chinese labourers. We have Filipino welders all over the Niger Delta . on the Offshore FPSOs we have FRENCH COOKS because we have a clueless government that do not get it and fail to protect our interests. Yes some people may spout empty platitudes that the majority cannot decode but some of us do. Some of us understand that when a government asks its citizens to pay 1000 naira for a job and then proceed to hold a farcical screening exam that something is very very wrong. Then to compound that some of them die and are BLAMED.That is Iwealanomics and it is not about prosperity. We are not mocked

Remarkable:

I'd always wondered why GEJ's achievements were not being documented or not given due publicity, despite the strides it has been making nationally and internationally... whether it is from Transparency International or Aviation rating bodies.

Maybe they didn't want to be accused of "doing its job"... but if I were him, every road built, every bridge constructed, houses built etc... pictoral and video evidence would have to be made available... this country is a sick country, so if you don't accentuated your achievements, people will think you aint doing sh*t... the words of some psycophants usually goes blah blah blah "and he has nothing to show for it..." I often ask myself when I see such comments ... "nothing?" ... like "absolutely nothing? do they really mean it? and believe GEJ has not done a single thing since his presidency?"

Truth is, GEJ has accomplished more than any president in the history of Nigeria. I stand to be corrected - the progress he has made, rivals that of any other president, line up his achievements against that of others and you will see what I mean.

This election is GEJ's to lose; going by his achievements, he trounces his opponent hands down. No wonder they had to start terrorizing civilians.
You are sane bro. Apparently a good population of Nigerians I have encountered on and off this forum aren't. Reason why all these rogue politicians are still having a field day. They already know for sure that there would be lesser and lesser room for further embezzlement by the time GEJ's cabinet goes far with its programmes; that was why they rushed to join forces to wrestle power from Jonathan.

1. [s]Cleansed Nigeria of corruption as head of state.[/s]
2. Reduced inflation rate from 40% to 3%.
3. Prosecuted and jailed hundreds of corrupt politicians, officials and business people.
4. Reduced our debt.
5. Diversified our economy focusing more on agriculture.
6. [s]Stabilised Naira (changed colour of money to stop illegal printing and theft of our money).[/s]
7. [s]Rejected IMF loans and its ruinous dictates.[/s]
8. Recovered looted funds from looters.
9. [s]Refused to Devalue Naira or raise fuel price.[/s]
10. [s]Captured Exiled looter Umaru Dikko in the Uk[/s]

You only pointed out what you think are lies. You can only tell a lie from the truth by investigating it. so, you can't tell me that because you have not seen a board, then there is no board, you can not also say 1.3 millions jobs were not created just because your mind tells you it is unbelievable. Your mind is not where truth dwells guy, truth dwells in the evidence, so ask for the evidence before concluding.

The truth will set you free.
