JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of our online marketing efforts geared at increasing the number of subscribers for our digital services.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for all things marketing and technology, and be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You should be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
• Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
• Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
• Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
• Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
• To maintain effective relationships with existing clients in order to retain business.
• Present the Company to potential clients through face-to-face meetings, cold calls, and emails.
• Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website
• Collaborate with designers to improve user experience
• Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools
• Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
• Working with existing database to optimize results.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND
• Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role (2 - 4 years)
• Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
• Ability to write high-quality content for different social platforms
• Ability to spot consumer trends and behaviors through social listening.
• Expertise in image editing software, videography, and photography will be of advantage.
• Fluent communication skill
• Working knowledge of principles of SEO
• Strong attention to details
• Highly motivated, energetic, motivated, and inspiring
• Experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns and community management in a digital/PR/Advertising agency is an advantage

Out of the five previous participation at the FIFA World Cup, the Nigeria Super eagles have been grouped with the Albacetes of Argentina four time (1994, 2002, 2010, 2014) with the current event at Russia 2018 being the fifth.

The first participation at the USA 1994 world cup see the Nigeria team losing to the Argentine team led by the diminutive Diego Maradona after two Claudio Cannigia goal cancelled Nigeria lone goal scored by Samson Siasia.

Both team met again at the Korea/Japan 2002 world cup with a Gabriel Batistuta goal making all the difference. The story was the same at the 2010 and 2014 World cup held in South Africa and Brazil respectively, both team were grouped together with the Nigeria team losing 1 – 0 and 3 – 2 on both occasion.

Russia 2018 with be the fifth time both team will be meeting at the Mundial, will Nigeria make the difference this time around. That is the question waiting for answer.

Super eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has attributed work permit issue has the reason behind Super eagles captain, Mikel Obi absence for the international friendly match against Poland.

Rohr, who was speaking at the pre-match press conference, said “The only game we lost, when was the Captain (Mikel) was not with us against South Africa and hope it will be better this time” He said

He acknowledged that the team needs a leader and John Obi Mikel is their uncontested leader.

He further stated that it will be interesting to see, how the other young player will do without him.

“We have the second captain, third captain and the forth captain” he further stated.

23-time Grand Slam singles winner, Serena Williams is returning to the WTA Tour six months after she “almost died” giving birth.

Williams, 36, suffered a pulmonary embolism after her first child was delivered by Caesarean section.

The American says it may be time for women to “to get feisty and stand up”.

“Doctors aren’t listening to us, just to be quite frank,” Williams told the BBC as she competed in the Tiebreak Tens event in New York.

It is “heartbreaking” black women in the United States are more likely than white women to die from complications in pregnancy or childbirth, says Serena.

“It may be time for women to be comfortable with having uncomfortable conversations.

“I was in a really fortunate situation where I know my body well, and I am who I am, and I told the doctor: ‘I don’t feel right, something’s wrong.’ She immediately listened.

“She was great. I had a wonderful, wonderful doctor. Unfortunately a lot of African Americans and black people don’t have the same experience that I’ve had.

“Also there are some things we are genetically pre-disposed to that some people aren’t. So knowing that going in, or some doctors not caring as much for us, is heartbreaking.

“Because of what I went through, it would be really difficult if I didn’t have the healthcare that I have – and to imagine all the other women that do go through that without the same healthcare, without the same response, it’s upsetting.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, black women in the United States are more than three times as likely as white women to die during pregnancy or childbirth.
