I have nothing against this Redmi devices o,but upon all the aggressive marketing strategies their users and agents employ on this platform,I still don't see people rushing to their devices in Nigeria, why? Is it because people know that they are also chinko like tecno and infinix? one day I might use a Redmi device as a second phone, not necessarily because of the bullshit their users and agents heap on this nairaland o,but just to satisfy my curiosity.
I have used a lot of phone products and I have never ever been over impressed by any of them that I why I don't over hype them, but I feel the only device to really hype this days is Apple.

I am a lifelong Android user who recently added an Apple device for the first time and while I do agree they are quite pricey and sometimes overhyped, boy those phones do work. I mean, they’ll do all you require of your phone without much fuss and you usually don’t encounter many issues using them.

Hate it or love Apple phones are great and consistent day in day out

Romance / Re: Ladies, Please, Stop Doing This Also To Avoid Rape !!! by nanakgh(m): 6:47am On Jun 07, 2020
socialmediaman:

There are ways to prove whether consent was given or not, that’s why we have interviews with exes, Cross examination, medical examiner records and Statements by both parties etc. in fact when legal proceedings start you’ll realize flirty text messages aren’t all the proof you need. Yes they establish a relationship, but no they do not prove there was consent at the point it happened. If people who are legally married and living together can be raped then it means some text messages won’t always prove consent

Read my submission again, never said the texts were outright evidence of consent. I only said it serves to support the guys claim that whatever sex that happened after the texts was consensual, and this can cast some doubt on the woman’s claim, especially where there’s no real evidence to back her up. Goes back to the final point of my write up. Helps to consider each separate incident on a case to case basis. Aside that, I actually do agree with you tho

No need for name calling, be mature and get the information I’m giving you.

The below from you shows you’re ignorant:

Rape can occur even when a lady earlier consented because she has the right to withdraw her consent at anytime and you’re expected to respect that immediately. It happens all the time. If you proceed after she says no, it’s called rape

You are right, but realistically there’s no way to prove consent was withdrawn in the heat of the moment.

The guy you quoted in that scenario will only use the intimate chats to support his claim that the the sexual encounter that followed those chats was consensual and that the rape allegation is just an afterthought designed to smear his image or extort him or whatever.

It’s a dicey issue, and a gray area even in law, so it helps to approach each different rape incident on a case to case basis.

Why do you think racism will stop? It will never, just go there, make some reasonable money, come back home and have peace of mind,

It’s like you live in my head. Who says these people will ever treat us equally? Go with God, make some good money and come and live till God calls you. It’s not about going to make there your home.

35 cl bottle of coca cola and pepsi bottles are sold for 1 cedis in Ghana and am in Accra and buy them everyday. Stop copying and pasting that old lie on that website. Ask any person living in Ghana to confirm that to you and. Also in Ghana we pay 18% Value Added Tax(VAT) on all products sold on the markets. In addition to other taxes such as national health insurance tax on all products and so automatically, things will be slightly expensive in Ghana than Nigeria, aside that 1 cedis is always 67 naira and it's fixed.Send 1 cedis to Nigeria and you will be 67 naira rich. There's nothing as higher value buh naira more valuable than dollars.

The fact that you buy a product made in example Nigeria buh exported to USA for 10 dollars in USA buh same product is sold for 1 dollar equivalent in Nigeria does not mean naira is more valuable than dollars. Ask yourself, larger production of such products locally and very little taxation makes a product less expensive that's why cost of living in UK is more than that of Nigeria or Gambia because they pay more taxes and more quality goods and other factors

Don’t mind the liar. A bottle of coke 3 cedis 80 pesewas. What a delusional guy.

i agree with you bro, nigerians are the most gullible and easily convinced people on earth yet we wonder why this country won't grow. There is no sane country where a politician that changes his party every election period is praised, only in Nigeria. if Atiku decamps to APC, the same people praising him now will start calling him names just like they did when he was yet to join pdp(Kola Ologbondiyan that wrote a damning article about atiku exposing his bad deeds suddenly started painting him as the saviour of Nigeria). The fact that a man like Atiku who is widely known to have massively benefitted from privatisation of government agencies is the strongest opponent to a president as clueless as Buhari is enough testament that this country will not progress. There are way better politicians that are ably qualified to lead this country than those over aged thieves. Atiku supporters think they are better than Buhari supporters not knowing both of them are dunderheads, if this country will move forward, we must look for people with repute, people who have led at different capacities and exceled, not people who have no known business that can fund their spendings yet their followers still shout "he is a businessman".

As a non Nigerian, but fellow West African, this was not only great to read (and sad too) but is synonymous with the problem most of us have with electorates and young voters in particular in our countries as well. Kudos.

Agree to disagree. Some people approach life with an everyone is bad attitude. Others choose to see the better nature of humans no matter the situation. So whatever you think is probably true and best for you.
