Phones / Re: 5 Reasons Why Android Still Beats The Iphone by Nemesisobaara: 10:41am On Oct 05, 2021
It's very easy to identify people who are unintelligent and ill-mannered. What happens to arguing maturely without insults? How many of una here don count 700k buy phone? Some of una buy for street at dash away prices, but, once you see argument like this, you begin dey insult people instead of driving home your point intellectually make all man reason with you. IPhone or android or even both, shebi na satisfaction we want, e no warrant insult. I have both phones; if I feel one of them gives me more satisfaction over the other, that doesn't mean I'm not tech-savvy neither do I deserve to be insulted for penning my opinion about them. If you are for or against an opinion, you state your facts/arguments and people go learn, no be to dey insult person wey you never meet before. I'm just saying; it's not like I have interest in this thread anyway.

Phones / Re: 5 Reasons Why Android Still Beats The Iphone by Nemesisobaara: 2:36am On Oct 05, 2021
You all screaming iPhone is better and stuff. It's all depends on what you do with your phone. I have been on iPhone since the inception of iphone 4, today I use iPhone 12; but, I still had to buy infinix note 10 two months ago, because I missed the android. There are so many apps I needed, but my iPhone demands that I pay for them. This apps are as free as a bird on Android. I cannot argue on the area of security of iPhone against the android, but the truth is, the android is much fun compared to the iPhone. Abeg trash that ideology that anybody talking in favour of android is broke and can't afford an iPhone, that's bushman mentality. It all depends on what you want. I cannot have an iPhone and not have an android at the same time, but I am sure that I can use my android alone an still do everything I want if my iPhone is out of the picture. Everybody thinks your are doing well once you are clutching an expensive iPhone, whereas you, yourself knows you only getting the hype but not doing much with the phone.

My brother, just defer the admission. It is allowed right now. Site Covid-19 as the reason and apply for new COE. Or you can apply to your school for reduced study load. Enrol fewer courses.

Please I want to relate with you. I also want to go to Australia this year for further studies. It would be nice to chat you on WhatsApp. Inbox me if you are okay with that. Thanks in anticipation.

These days, person tell me I be idiot, I go just reply thank you sir/ma and waka go front, sharp sharp.

Great Ife!
In my opinion, Professor Wale Omole was not a cultist. He just happened to be an alumni who wanted to show students activists of those days that he himself has aluta spirit in him.

His main grouse was that the Students Union was not paying homage to him, even though he was releasing funds to them as at when due. This is my reading of the situation then.

After the events of 1999, he was removed as VC of Ife. Beyond that, he still went on to enjoy a successful career as an academician.

Afrika had no jazz ooo. Afrika was an atheist and he was strong-headed too. He really didn't care about his life.

To your last question, I believe there were other fraternities in Ife during our days in the late 90s. Recall that during those years, UI, PolyIbadan, LASU and Unilag were hot spots for fraternities. I believe most chose to operate underground then because of Ife's strong student unionism. NBM in Ife was unearthed by a series of freak incidents. I will relate the story tomorrow. My wife is using side eyes to glance at me . ... Maybe she thinks I'm chatting with a girl.

Men I would have fallen for same scam. It was only network issues that made me not to transfer 1m to one Diamond Bank account officer. I wanted to fix deposit 1m for 2months, she agreed the bank will give me 6% I was skeptical about it but still asked if there's any hidden charges, she said no. She gave me her personal account to transfer the sum. I almost did if not network issues. Thanks for the info.
you welcome bro..Good thing the transfer did not go through

Please I want to share my experience with diamond bank to you all, this piece of information can save someone else from becoming a victim of the recent scam going on in diamond bank. I went to the bank to deposit some fund. As I walked into the banking hall I met my account officer who was cheerful as usual. He didn't waste time in telling me about a certain new fixed deposit account which he claimed would rack in an amount a bit bigger than the usual fixed deposit account I had with the bank. He went further by asking me to withdraw the funds in my account by filling the withdrawal slip and handing it over to him so that the money can be fixed. At first I was skeptical and asked if the fund can be accessible whenever I wanted it and he said" yes, anytime". Being that this advise was coming from an accountant in the bank, somebody who shud uphold an integrity, I filled the withdrawal slips for #600k and handed it over to him. He said the fund is to be deposited in a certain account that already contains several other customers. After two months I went to the bank cos I needed to do some withdrawal and the accountant was giving me excuses.Telling me the money was deposited in one marketers account and not available at that moment.. This continued till four months of persistent calling and same story. Now I reported to the bank manager and he was nonchalant about it and kept telling me the case has nothing to do with the bank..The bank showed no concern at all.. Am just saying this so you all can be careful...A lot of people I know have fallen for this and have not gotten their money till this minute..Stay away from diamond bank.. You can google to see other people that have lost their funds to diamond bank accountants..well a word is enough!!!

Help!!having a hard start issue...so far I hv changed the the kick which was damaged as a result of too many attempts to start the car. After replacing the kick my mechanic managed to start the car by jump starting it with another battery and took the car to his workshop. o want to know how much is kick sold in the market and the sensor cos I know I allowed my mechanic to rip me by buying the kick for 15k and sensor for 10k which I later confirmed to be much lesser in price than the above.

@Harbioollah; (1)pardon my asking but did you right the diploma exam?...
(2)your 'senior lecturer' in dept of microbiology is telling you the common gossip, or should i use an appropriate term 'rumors' that are flying round the school. Although that rumor has a point but the acting V.C will make no gain ridging the admission for selfish interest. The admission of prospective candidates is done by the Admission Unit, 3rd floor of the senate building. The acting V.c cannot favour the whimps and carpices of those politicians, professors, senior lecturers and influential people because he also has people competing with him for the titleship of the V.C. They will go to every extent to find faults and errors that the acting V.C has made to get an upper edge. To be on the saver side, the acting V.C is making sure that the admission process is taken with extreme care and precision, which accounts for the delay. The reason the cutoff was high has become clear to me. I got to know that there were actually people who made high scores, especially for medicine and surgery. Although, most people in the list did not meet up with the cutoff mark(for med and surg addmission list), but they poped out from the cathement area, and that is why u can even see a person with (oyo cathement area i suppose 68) in the admission list.
(3)there is a common misconception, people think that the cut off mark is based on the general performance, but NO. It is based on the number of candidates that the department is setted to carry, that is if medicine and surgery has a carrying capacity of 120, then they will pick up the 120 best, and the score of the least person in the list becomes the cut off. That applies to supplementary list.
(4) the addmision capacity tends to increase every year, last year, it was appoximately 158, this year, the merit list is 98, that gives room for 60 and above number of candidates, since admission capacity neva falls.
I hope God helps each and every one who is putting there hope in the supplementary list.
@sucess full diploma students; congrates, in about 2 to 3 weeks time, head on to where u submitted ur form for ur admision letter...keep watch, d admision list will soon b out. If u are at least 6 marks away from ur cutoff, u will b given admision in the supplementary list. By the way there were 14 supplementary list last year, not 12.
@tizzie; i am praying for u. I hope u will get admitted...but all the same if u have not checked ur score for the diploma, there is no harm checking.
To all prospective Akokites; may God help u, i wish u good luck. To all Prospective idi-arabites; the competition is tough...but i pray u sail through.......
@all; i hope to hear u guys jubilating, when you see the supplimentary list....
pls i scored 58 while my course cut off is 59 (building),am not in any catchment area. .hope i stand a chance
