But wait o, reading all the posts so far, there is no case of:

1) GF/BF snatching

2) He wowed her with his money/flashy car

3) 2nd of 3rd wife

4) He was her driver/messenger/junior @ work and they fell in love

5) Overseas love via photos and phone calls until a few days to wedding proper

Just saying,

No, I would do exactly what you did. The gurl dey waka sluggishly and she expect me to jump down for her? Na her boyfriend get the motor? Even that boyfriend of hers is a silly nincompoop. Imagine asking you to come down of the vehicle because him gurlfriend never reach?

Popsy was a pastor in 'Deeper Life' church, Owerri.    cool  Momsy was a chorister. Popsy spotted this choir gurl and made the move.  smiley Momsy had no choice but to give in, lol .  cheesy cheesy.Remember, it was Pastor toasting her.

Hi guys,i have been wanting to open and run an IT firm for a long time now,but dont know how to go about it. I am into networking, but want to open a fully functional IT company, which includes; Software development, Programming, Autocad design, Graphic design, System Engineering and co. My problem is,i dont do any of these directly,so i dont know how much is 1. Cost of setting up, and 2. Estimate of output (profitability). I am thereby asking you wonderful and talented guys in the house to help me out. I have always believed in practicalising what you have learnt,that is why i want to start-up this firm,i cant do much myself, but i believe that there are Guys out there who can do it,they only need the enabling environment, for them to excel(who says we cant have our own steve jobs here). It is these set of Guys that i intend to work with. Plese house, help me out. Your response is highly valued. THANKS

The little I got from your story frightens me (I couldnt read the entire essay - the reason is obvious). I'll advise you to forget this gurl and move on with your life. It may not be easy, but God will give you grace to carry on.

I also advice: "Learn to seldom put emotions in your relationships". If you do this, you will have the energy to move on easily if (and when) it happens again.

In October 2011, President Goodluck Jonathan initiated the ‘YOUWIN’ programme with the aim of empowering young Nigerians who have good business. Many people on NL criticized the idea, but initially I thought they were just being hostile to the President and his economic reform team.
The deadline was supposed to be 4 November 2011. However, a few hours to the end of that deadline, the deadline was shifted again by two weeks to 18 November, 2011. I waited anxiously for this new deadline to know my fate.
I just logged into the website from work and observed that the deadline has been further extended to 25 November 2011. . Please I honestly ask ‘What is really happening?’

• Is GEJ playing a fast game on us young Nigerians?
• Could it be that young Nigerians cannot come up with convincing business ideas for this programme?
• Could it also be that this programme was not planned thoroughly?

I honestly ask these questions because I do not see any reason why the deadline should be shifted twice. In my opinion, it makes a mockery of the whole thing.
I need answers.

It has happened several tymes to me. At a time, I thought, maybe I wasnt fine enough. Anyway, I encouraged myself and moved on.

The best thing is to move on and find another person to toast - don't ever beg a gurl to like you (it's an insult). Convince yourself that the girl missed something by not dating you and then you move on.

One more thing: Get the 'dough' grin cheesy - not just because that's all they (them ladies) want, but also because it will increase your confidence level.
