One thing about visa application is that there is no hard and fast rule. I applied for my mum before I landed and her application was approved.

Did you submit before July 31st? If yes, then you don't need to do biometrics. Just submit your passports.

Go with PPR letter, 2 copies each of Int'l passport + original passports of course, VFS consent letter, 2 passport photographs each, imm008 form, family composition form if any change. 16,610 per passport. Go early, be there when they open up at 8am. After the usual security checks at the gate, go to the 2nd floor first, get your tally slip and move to the first floor for submission. You'll be called according to the number on your tally slip. Pretty straightforward if you ask me. Go with the exact amount. No change. You will just dash them the change if you don't.
Akinsnow89:
Hi @ newmum0615
Hope you having a great day
Please i need info on submission of passport.

Thing is, you don't need your old passport. Only the current one is required, except you started the process with the old one and changed it midway into the process, then you may need to upload both. Someone shared a story of how her application was rejected because the VO saw only the old passport and somehow missed the current passport in the upload section. I had a valid visa on my old passport and still didn't upload it.
Ifeoma77:

Education; include degree certificates too.
Employment; perfect
POF; you could add an introductory page summarizing all the different sources of funds. You could also add XE or Oanda conversion page. These are not compulsory sha, it's still good the way it is.
Passport; old biodata page is also required.
Marriage; perfect
PCC; perfect
LOE; as the spirit leads grin

Pray tell, why are you providing travel history for your parents and siblings?
Xbature:
Hello house, while filling my ITA form update to submit i saw this question under travel history. the question is
"Provide details of any trips ------- has taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since his/her 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.
Has ------------, and if applicable, --------------- family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since their 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. (required)"

I answered NO, though my spouse has traveled for training before (Which was already stated in the part of my spouse personal history), and also my parents and siblings have traveled in and out of Nigeria, and it has appeared some where in the application. My question now is that should i state all this their travel waka or i should explain in LOE that though me have not traveled o, but my siblings have and some of them are residing out of the country.

Any answer will help. I just tire and i wan submit this thing and then move on abeg.
Thanks.

This information is stated on this thread almost everyday, yet people will still ask. Have you read through the thread at all? Or at least page 1. Have you ever come across the acronym ICES?
JadonOVB:

Pls, which EVALUATION BODY can I use that doesn't require WAEC but with short duration as WES?

Do yourself a favour and evaluate only your MSc with ICES.

Wow. Congrats darling.
Sthill5:
I can finally share my first good news on this thread.

After a grueling 6 months of transcript and verification issues with OOU for my diploma attained in 2006, my ECA is finally ready. Completion date was September 19 but only God and WES knows why it took so long

Also my degree equivalent from the UK (British Computer Society ) was evaluated to be a canadian bachelors degree so I can now officially claim points for two certificates! So if you or someone you know has BCS qualifications in IT, they should evaluate it

Thank you newmum and happytbaby for encouraging me to go through the naija stress of evaluating my diploma. I spent almost 150k and 4 trips to ago-iwoye. Coming back home late at night with bad roads and crazy drivers. If you know Epe express way, you will understand. This is not ppr but its a breakthrough for me. Now awaiting IELTS tomorrow.

crystalllllllll:

Is it bad to ask questions? I for one hate it when people tell others to go read from page 1. If you can't answer their questions, simply ignore. If you can and you think the question has been answered some pages before you can do well to look it up and then answer with a link to that page. Imagine being on page 389 and dwelling on page 1 info. Things change sometimes and we all know that. Plus people are busy with other things in life too, not just Canadian immigration.

Take the soft copy only if you must. You can even use your phone to take the pic, the you resize accordingly.
I pray your PPR doesn't take 6 months to come. I had to take another pix when it was time for passport submission and would likely take another one for PR card cos the second one will expire by the time I land. You can always snap again and take the hard copy when you want to submit your passport and probably use it if you are landing soon after COPR collection.
Homguy:
GOOD day fam, I am at studio 24 and they are charging a a bill of 1,500 naira for soft copy and 1,500 for hard copy. Which is advisable? Do I pay for only soft copy or is the hardcopy better? I intend scanning the hardcopy though as I cannot pay for both.

If you have your funds in Tbills or FD, your average can be way lesser. It won't matter. At least, mine didn't.
Xbature:

Thanks @Ifeoma77.
I got to the bank to collect the letter but I’m not ok again o. For analogy sake and not exact funds, The average 6months is like 1m TD is like 3m, current balance is like 1.2m so I asked my account officer that sonsce the funds I need for the PoF is N4.1m can’t he just say average is that 4.1m since the TD is there?
My question now is that should I still use that letter that showed average of 1.2m and the TD of 3m, or i should just use my TD and I have a mutual funds too that makes it over what we need as proof of funds.
Thanks for the advice in advance. I really need to sort this out it’s the last stage. The annoying thing is that when person no get the funds na another problem na Wey person get am, explanation come plenty again?
