kettle84: As far back as 2014: http://thenationonlineng.net/lagos-onne-ports-host-big-vessels/ As you can see, the port can receive big vessel, trying googling more on Nigeria ports. The question is, why are people not using it as much as the Lagos port? 3 Likes

kettykin: Please educate us, how are we destroying your property at your home. How many Yorubas are in the SE to start with, what is the ratio of Yorubas in the SE compared to the igbos in the SW? A reasonable estimate will be for every Yoruba that losses his way to the SE, there are 10,000 EQUIVALENT igbos that found their way to the SW. what is the ratio of mass transit buses such as izuchukwu, young shall grow, ekenedilichukwu, peace mass transit to mention a few, dropping off igbos day in day out in the SW compared to very few Yorubas that wander to the SE? So who is really doing the destroying of the other persons land/property? The answer to these question will put things in better perspective for you. Secondly, i have been to Onne port in PH and lived on Intels Camp. For a fact, the ports in Rivers are closer to the SE than the SW, why are igbo importers not using these ports? Also, on Oil companies, astute business men always put their money and capital where they feel safe and they know their investment is safe. Do you know how much funds we budget to ensure safety in the Lagos-Ogun axis every year. Do you see Yorubas turn to militants and kidnappers of foreigners? No. The answer is a capital NO. because we understand the importance of having a friendly investment environment that people from all race and tribe will feel safe investing their capital without fear. Most of these oil firms relocated back to Lagos in the last decade due to the rampant kidnapping and killing of expatriates in the SS and SE. Why the Bleep do you think dangote is investing billions in a refinery in Lagos? its is called investment friendly environment. No militants, no OPC, no disturbances, no kidnappers etc. Even your rich tribesmen feel safer in the SW than the SE. this is a fact and its undisputed ![]() 8 Likes |

Habakus: I totally understand your point and i disagree, did you take a statistical sample to arrive at your conclusion. If i go to war with a person and came back to his land to meet my belongings intact how can i turn back and say that person is jealous of me, does that make sense to you? Success in their chosen field, i will ask you a question, what success is peculiar to any group of people in the world. There are successful people in every tribe and race just ad there are hateful and spiteful people in every tribe and race. i am a success in my field, why will hate someone else because they are also successful. In Nigeria, what do the Yoruba tribe lack that they will hate another set of people because of their success. we should learn to stop using sweeping statements. I know a Yoruba Landlord that reduced rent because of recession and i have heard some went on to increase rent claiming things are more expensive like they gonna buy cement to build the house over again. we should stop calling people names or tag an entire group something they are not because of a few bad eggs. The Op landlord could just be as bad to any other person whether yoruba, igbo or hausa. A bad person is a bad person period. 6 Likes |

Revelation1: Excuse me, I AM FROM OSUN STATE and i am yet to meet a criminal from Osun state. The worst thing that has happened to me is when two igbo armed robbers robbed me of my car at gun point driving home from work. you need to cure yourself of tribalism 1 Like 1 Share |

Habakus: I totally understand your point but you are the one not ready to accept haters, wicked people, tribal bigots exist in all tribes, places and office. Let me share something happening to me right now. I live in a house with standard flats and BQs. my neighbor who is igbo rented his BQ to a young guy who is a tailor. what if i tell you this tailor guy has never greeted me in the over one year he moved into the house. i have caught him several times looking at me with that " who does he think he is" kind of look. Maybe because i am single and living in a flat alone he is jealous or just pure envy. I have come home several times that this guy will be standing beside the gate and instead of him to open the gate for me, he acts like he is too blind to see my car. will it be ok if i say igbo people are jealous and envious people because the guy is igbo? Now lets go back to the period after 1970, AFTER THE CIVIL WAR. Do you realize there was no case of abandoned property in the SW. igbos came back to Ibadan, Lagos etc to meet their property and even got their rent paid fully to them while in the SS igbos were not allowed to go near their property again. Google abandoned property after the civil war and show me one single case of igbo property taken over in the SW. when people say Yoruba people are accommodating, it is not gain saying. 5 Likes |

Habakus: I don't know anything about carrying placard asking people to leave the SW. Wicked people are everywhere that is my point. I know an igbo man that deals in merchandises who never employs any other person apart from his igboid people. What about the hundreds of part sellers littered all over SW that don't support anyone else except the people from their villages. Ordinary sales girl or boy posiiton they will travel all the way to their village to bring someone to work for them. I can go on and on. my point is discrimination is not limited to any tribe, least Yoruba of all tribe. There could be exceptions but its not our way of life. This is why i am ever careful how i group people together and what i say. Go check those businesses they hardly go far. 11 Likes |

The first car i got was stolen by two armed robbers from the east. That is a personal experience. The moral of the story is, there are criminals everywhere and from every tribe and they don't care whether you are igbo, yourba or hausa. I will advise more igbo people relocate to the SE. 25 Likes |

bigerboy200: Its definitely a tough one to make. Now you see why the system will crash sooner than later because if all members become scared and no one is providing help. Then the system dies from within, GH exceeds PH, which is a fundamental flaw in every pyramid scheme. so to avert this, every member must go back and provide help, this is a reset and avoid being scared. Whatever you do, use your spare money. or better still count your losses and leave. 1 Like |

9jakohai: I did not state anywhere that i want you to like MMM, neither am i promoting the scheme. I am just giving a balance opinion on what i understand about the scheme. Like i said early, a pyramid scheme will collapse sooner or later because of its inherent weakness. That being said, there thousands of Nigerians on the scheme, who deserve explanations regarding the scheme. What i don't understand is the gloating on people misfortune depending how you look at, cause i know people who cash out on this scheme. If you did not invest in the scheme, then you should be the loudest voice here cause really it is not your business. You can give your opinion and move on but calling people names doesn't cut it for me. shallom. |

bigerboy200: Hate to break it down to you, that is what it implies. It is actually inevitable considering the system is a pyramid. To get liquidity back in the system all members must reinvest until the public confidence is restored. |

9jakohai: This phrase "you people", what the Bleep does it mean. I am trying to understand your comment. Secondly, MMM is a pyramid system. IF IT HAS REACHED ITS PEAK, the system can have a reset using the method adopted now. Finally you said "Better wake up....and get a legitimate job. Paul has run out of Peters to rob", what gave you the impression the person you quoted has no legitimate job? |
![]() |
This is actually the right decision. you cannot all ask for help at the same time. If everybody asking to GH move to PH the system will stabilize. |
![]() |
My investment banker ( the lady operating the MMM with my money) just informed me that on the GH portal, you to provide help to get help even when you have marvros you have not cash still in the system. In other words, if you have money tied in, to get your money under the new system you must provide help first. I think this will created the needed liquidity in the system because if everybody cliecks GH and nobody is providing help. where will the funds for the people clicking GH come from? kapish. 7 Likes 1 Share |

sade1994: I know an Ijesa man, a third generation Ijesa man in Lagos with 5 Houses in choice areas that doesnt know what Ilesa looks like. He has no relatives there and if he goes back, he asked who he will be going to see. When a Yoruba person leaves, the chance he will back is very slim depending on if there is something to come to.. Yoruba people make a home where they are and hardly move back to their roots. Hence you hardly hear Yorubas insult their host. 4 Likes |

Nwakaumu: I see comprehension is an issued here. In Lagos here, go to Oshodi you will surely find mud houses there within the market. And is Lagos not in SW my region and Lagos last time i checked is the biggest city in West Africa. On the other hand, i will not make a comment about your lies about the SE. Yoruba people say "eyan maji ki pa da nu iro" Shalom 1 Like |

sade1994: It is deeper than that and its multifaceted. The village is apparently abandoned and the sons and daughter have all moved to other places. You don't go back to a place where you have no connections anymore. In Kaduna, i met families with houses in Northern Kadauna without a bungalow in the SW. Once there is no connection back home that is it. Here in Lagos a matron working in London, because her family have all relocated to the UK, came back to sell all they own in Lagos and now she has left. How will that person ever come back home. 3 Likes |

Nwakaumu: Lol...... well i am in the city with the fifth biggest economy in Africa and there are still mud houses here. By the way, i will be very proud if i was from Oshogbo or any other place. I am happy for you the condition of your village. i have been told it is paradise ![]() 2 Likes |

Nwakaumu: What is this one saying.... too many kids on NL. I am in Agbara in Lagos now and there are villages here with Mud house. Before Onne camp in Rivers the whole village on the trip from the Airport are all mud houses. WTF is this one saying 6 Likes |

I served in Kanke in Plateau... Similar situation. This person needs to travel more to understand there are worse cases than this all over Nigeria. A village of less that 50 PEOPLE. 1 Like |
