I agree with the guy talking about using a thinner wire to get high voltage at low RPM, but he failed to point out that you don't get the same amp as with bigger wire. As you achieve higher voltage with less RPM, so your amp keeps going down. So at the end, thin or thick wire will produce same watt result. Voltage multiply by amp. I'm not an electrical person, but I'm working on a project that takes me to learn about all these value. If anyone still think they can build a self powered PMA, let's have result figures from your wiring, your input and output figures. I thank all those who have contributed here, a few more people must have learned something.

I have been following this thread since weekend, seriously, were you people thinking #199 to a $ was right at that point?. I'm not supporting all the activities of our banks, especially in the area of exchange, but two wrong don't make a right. if only everyone can come together and challenge WHY every bank is charging almost twice the CBN official rate, but this ur case.........I doubt you will get far with it. you can always pay back what you owe gradually at your own time, they can't force you to pay, but not paying at all and abandoning your account might not be a good choice, I don't know how strong this BVN thing can be. This international transfers normally attract fees. These fees are either paid by the sender, receiver or both the sender or receiver shares the charge.
Guy the first time this thing happened to me, the company i work for online sent me money for me to find out that I was meant to pay the transaction fees alone. Man I Open my eyes for the card company "Payoneer" the explained to me what the company the sent the money did with one Telex message i saw it in black and white.
I would just advise that you ask UBA for that information if they will give you but GUY conatct the sender to find out if you where meant to bare the charges for the transfer except they have told you that from the begining. After you have settle this then you can know the rate which has been up and down this period.

I thank you for your response, I as you would imagine, I was very hash with UBA CC when I called, still they called me back later at night to confirm they received 15 Euros less of what I was expecting, they also told me that no charges was applied from them. It was from them I was hearing about an intermediary bank for the first time. I also mailed bet365 for explanation, to which they also said the funds must have pass thru an intermediary bank who will not do business for free. According to them, they bear the charges of their bank directly and not a third party bank. I guess that settles it. Thanks again.
