@ earth realm let me explain this very well for the sake of newbies &others who are you tired of getting the
“ certificate error” message, bla bla bla, when
installing applications on their
Symbian phones. The reason is that
the application that you are trying
to install “hasn’t” been approved
by Symbian foundation. But most of
us know that most of the good
freeware applications haven’t been
“signed” yet so we need to sign them
ourselves. There are two ways to
install the “unsigned” applications.
First is to hack your phone. That
means that you need to fool the
phones firmware (by editing it) so
that it allows you to install the
unsigned application.
Second is install a Free signer and sign all your apps one after the other before installation.
Lastly the current version of helloOx 2.03 comes with an additional option to unhack at anytime. Goodluck.
