OGUN 2011 GOVERNORSHIP,WHY IT SHOULD BE YEWA-AWORI.

Ogun  state is built on the tripod stand of three Senatorial Districts of Ogun East[ijebu and Remo], Ogun Central[ Egbas] and Ogun West[ Yewa-Awori], and since two out of these three have ruled as Governors in Ogun State on two democratic mandates each, then for justice, equity and fairness to reign, Ogunwest[yewa-awori] should produce the State govrenor in 2011.

Ogun State at inception of its creation in 1976,was created out of two provinces; IJEBU PROVINCE and ABEOKUTA PROVINCE. Later, these two provinces became four divisions of IJEBU, EGBA, REMO and EGBADO[ now called YEWA-AWORI]. The present acronyms for the four divisions or children  is RIYE. Ijebu people have been democratically elected twice as Governor of Ogun State in 1979 and 1983 through Chief Olabisi Onabanjo. The Egba people  were equally democratically elected as Governor of the State in 1991 and 1999 through Araba Olusegun Osoba. Similarly, the Remo people were democratically elected as Governor in 2003 and 2007 through His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel. The only child  of the four children of Ogun state that has not been priviledged as Governor are the Yewa- Awori people. Hence, it is simply logical and reasonable that Yewa-Awori  people should produce the state Governor in 2011.

The Egbados historically aided the emergence of chief Olabisi Onabanjo as Governor of Ogun State in 1979 and 1983. They equally played prominent roles in  the emergence of Chief Olusegun Osoba as the  State Governor in 1991 and 1999.Similarly,the Egbados unyielding support practically ensured Otunba Gbenga Daniel's victoryas Governor in 2003 and 2007.  The 2011 state governorship is virtually the only time to reciprocate the good gestures of the Egbados by the ijebus, egbas and remos by ensuring the states governor come from Egbados,i.e YEWA- AWORI people .in 2011.

The world does not tolerate a situation where three out of the four siblings of the same parents will eat and continue to eat all the food in the house only to subject their forth sablings to perpetual deprivation, degradation, marginalisation, oppression and starvation.E ni kan kii je ki ilufe, i.e no one should over feed itself to the point of explotion while others are starved to death. This further reinforces Yewa- Awori Governorship in 2011.
Since we all want peace to reign in Ogun State as wished all over the world, we hope the few priviledged in Egba and Ijebu will stop trampling on the most disadvantaged people of Egbado [ now Yewa-Awori] in Ogun state  and support Yewa-Awori governorship in 2011.

A weak leg of Ogun West may upset the tripod upon which Ogun state is built and the pot of our common wealth and ancestral heritage may collapsae. Yewa-Awori governorship in 2011 may be the cheapest strategy  to put the state on the path to sustainable prosperity, peace and progress. Other options may be too expensive.
Lastly, our lives in Ogun State should be guilded by the nobility principle of do unto others  as you want done on to you. 2011 , remains the most  viable date to right the  wrongs in Ogun state as YEWA-AWORI produces the state governor in 2011
