Does anyone know how I can add pictures when making a post/comment on nairaland? I tried copying and pasting to no avail, I also tried using an attachment which worked but the pictures didn't show after posting, except the attachment is clicked on. I noticed some posts do have pictures in the body of the message and have always wondered how this is done. Kindly let me know how to work around it please, cheerz.

you need to use SMF's image tag:

(img)http://htttp://full-url-of-the-image(/img) <<--------------replace '()' with '[]' to see it in action.

and voila! done.

Hmmm, perhaps 'www' then? coz its what I'm using for my signature image and every post I need to add an image.
But he's got the tags though, so whichever works for him.

then upload the picture to a free image sharing site like tinypic and use the url to share it.you can't upload picture into your post directly to nairaland because they don't allow it.you can only upload it using the attachment on nairaland.but if you want picture to appear within your post, you have to use url pattern to upload it.

its very easy when u enter ur post , just immediately after the submit button.. U see choose file on attachments region. Click on the choose file. It will take you to ur gallery in ur computer den u pick d picture u want to upload den just submit.. Thats all
