Maybe the strike already started today? i am burning fuel o.

BTW, i heard the GOVs used most of their funds to win their various elections, they can't afford not to pay back all those they lobbied and borrowed from, with this kind of NLC pay-rise, it's definitely going to slow down pay-back o.

NLC - please DO NOT cancel this strike oooo, my boss have denied me 5 days leave already, this strike will put him to shame; moreover people in my industry are always looking forward to public holidays it doesn't matter which form it came.
Re: Nationwide Strike Starts Tommorow by afrobaby(f): 2:48pm On Jul 19, 2011
Ofcourse, phcn will join, and guess banks will join too, that is the only way the strike can be felt by the govt. But come to think of it, is it minimum wage that they shud be fighting for or reduction in prices of comodity, they've not increased minimum wage, prices of things are already hiked, what if they now increase it, market men and women will also inflate their prices and inflation will set it, those who will suffer it most are the likes of us who work for private organisations, God help us o

Re: Nationwide Strike Starts Tommorow by trimwis: 3:02pm On Jul 19, 2011
This NLC are just wasting our time and also playing with the emotions of 9ja. what is the benefit if N18,000 in this present economy?

They should look for something else like ELECTRICITY, CORRUPTION AND BAD GOVERNANCE to strike against

If NLC want to make themselves relevant they should mobilize Nigerians to stand against the government over electricity. Picketing all this big generating companies like MIKANO then we will no they serious. lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
