LWKMD! Very funny indeed! But seriously, I passed that road in 2009 I think and oh my goodness what a death trap!!?? Oh Lord, let me not pass that road again for anything! I read too that it was fixed after Diezani Madueke was reported to be crying, but alas it was NOT fixed or FIXED and got broken to the exact status before it was fixed?!

Well, me too I shouted to Nigeria not to vote this pinnochio of a man. . .he will NOT do anything but Nigeria want fresh air! The road in front of my house, just a middle class neighborhood, does not come close to the roads inside the city. However, that road is eons ahead of this major Nigerian road! I can reach speeds of 40-50 km / h which exceeds the limit for that road but how will you drive 50km/h on this government forsaken road? When will Nigeria stop all this phoney fresh air nonsense and get something tangible from this dead-walking government of this big-nosed president? But well if Nigeria keep wanting fresh air, we will just have to wait for how long it will last before they realize they are being scammed.

The true state of the road cannot be captured graphically no matter how hard you try.One visit to the Ore T-junction would leave you sleepness for nights.

I almost cried.Having travelled to Gambia some moths before (seeing their roads alone would make anyone sensible Nigerian shed tears For this country! I tell u, it's not all about lamenting and wishing a messiah would come set us free. The onus is on us to take action. Either forcefully or otherwise. Honestly if i were to find a group of revolutionist, i'll gladly sign up, We need change and a drastic one at that. GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

Cry not my beloved country!

Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Nigerian dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its greed.

I have a dream that one day on the high hills of Aso Rock, the sons of the Hoi Poloi will be able to sit down together with the sons of the bourgeoisie at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the Niger Delta, a region sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my children will one day use electricity, such that they will not know the true meaning of UP NEPA in their houses. I have a dream today!

I have a dream that my great and great great grand children will one day drive on roads in this nation where they will not be molested by hungry youths and endangered by crater-filled roads. I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, Up in the North, with its vicious extremists, with their governors having their lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in the North little Southern boys and girls will be able to join hands with little Northern boys and girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."2

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the Niger Delta with.

Benin –Ore – Lagos road today is in a state of calamity.

So, if the roads is in a state of ANOMIE,
If driving through the roads is engaging in a MACABRE DANCE, CULPABILITY is that of Government.

It will be SARDONIC.
It will be LUGUBRIOUS,
and it will be a state of DISMAL BISMER
if parliament does not rise this morning to fix CULPABILITY where culpability is.

OP, I feel your pains, sorry. But, most people here were Jonathan's anus lickers before the elections. They turned tigers and tigeress, ready to devour the opposing camps. Now, we are all a direct beneficiary of Agendaless Jonathan's government. Thief Tony Anenih was allocated several billions of Naira to fix that road, during his tenure as Works Minister, he did nothing. The blind Jonathan's suckers of Nairaland, queued with him to bring Agendaless Jonathan, through their magic vote. The entire SS and SE people, who daily are victims of road accidents and death on this particular road, throws caution to the wind and lined up behind Agendaless Jonathan. The Christian community soon forgot that, the devil you know is far better than the Angel you don't know. Now, we are were we are because of your lack of insight. All the transporters plying that route should never complain. They were there with their eyes opened and allowed Agendaless Jonathan to pour sand in their eyes. Una never see anything yet, this is just the beginning. Welcome to your Fresh Air.

they show you a road in the north claiming it is lagos asaba road. who do they think they are fooling.

what we need is the award of the Ijebu ode to ondo, akure, ado, kabba, lokoja expressway, and they refuse to award the road for 40 years.

i was on that road about 2 weeks ago. the Ondo state end of the road is useless. We left Lagos few mins to 8am (heading to asaba) got to ore at 11.30am and we did not leave until 2.30pm. 3hrs on a distance of less than 10kms if the road was good.

Dude, Papabrowne is a very moral and upright person.
So, someone tells you the road is being fixed, even posts pictures to show roadworks and he becomes a "wicked soul?" shocked
Why is the average Nigerian so extreme?

Yes, the road is bad, but it didn't get bad overnight. So how sensible is it to scream so loud about a stretch of the road that is still bad? How moral is it to label a fellow human a "wicked soul" for publishing pictures of roadworks and repaired sections of road? Are you saying those pictures were fake, if so, where is your proof? Are you saying that there is no ongoing work to fix that road? Again, prove it.

Why do educated Nigerians take to extreme words, shouting and fighting? The behaviour is everywhere; it is in the press, it is championed by leaders of certain sections (like Atiku, Buhari, Babangida and Tinubu).
Dude, lift yourself above the crowd, I have conversed and argued with you in the past and you were always civil, so I know you are quite a decent soul.
