Just noticed some quirk in glo that those customer service people could not even explain. I wanted to activate Always day on my modem but even though they deducted the money, I was informed it will be activated once I connect. Yet it refuses to connect through the regular gloflat Apn. I called customer care, 121, and 444 yet nobody had an inkling into what was wrong. I now remembered glo has been offering data bonuses for any big denomination card loaded which they insist cannot be used on laptop and tablets. Pronto I created another account this time with glosecure  and like miracle it connected. Never even knew I had a bonus of above 350mb. Just in case anyone has similar experience just go through this routine. Customer care ar too dumb to know, besides it baffles when glo give out data bonuses without letting the beneficiaries know. Curious

That would have been heaven wouldn't it? But no, itz not. I got hold of a big file and before yu say zilch the 350mb was milked. Glosecure stopped working and I got an sms that my bundle has been activated. Connection? Gloflat.

to check ur free data balance dial 124 , then press 1 . as for me i have 9.8gb free on my glo sim(the one am using now) and another 250mb on my second sim.

One dross in 444 says if yu load #500 yu'll get a bonus of 25mb. dont know how true that is. But 1k recharge guarantees 200mb. Beat that!

Honestly, its been a long time now I recharged #1000 at a go. My last recharge was #500 last week.
It is Ok. But, how I wish Glo will text you about your freebies, it would have been better. For now, FREEEEE browsing continue.

But, the free data bonus seems to work ONLY on glosecure or, am I missing something here? Anyway, if you need the Glosecure settings, text 'glosecure' to 1234 now.

Your previous is the correct one. Username and Password is (gprs) on Glo Direct settings. I have been using glo now for a very long time, so I know what I am talking about.

It works real cool. I am using Opera Mini 4.3 on LG GX200. Which browser are you using?

glo direct acess point. Apn=glosecure . Username =gprs . Password=gprs . For those that der data digits are 6numbers. eg 975634kbs. Its just mb, not gb. Anyway i stil got my 9.7gb intact.

Dial again and make sure you listen to the end. If you do not hear of data that means you do not have. You probably must have been reacharging with units under #500. Sorry bro, the bonus is only for 'big' cards

@spiff,change ur connectn setting to glo direct and try browsin a little wit ur phone. Check if ur airtime wz deductd. I hv browsin free on ma bb witout bis for more dan 1 wik nw and I hv nt loaded upto 500 @ once since I bought d line. Also hv diald 124 severely and no data bal.

1000kb = 1mb
1000mb = 1gb
1000gb = 1tb and so on and so forth.
So, your 7557633kb is equal to 7.5gb. Enjoy your big data bonus yare!
