I want to use this medium to inform everyone here that has gotten the e-mail or know anyone that got the email about the VIO-DVLA job and medical test payment is a fraud, the whole exercise is a scam designed to fleece the unemployed population.
The purpoted claims of the letter are all false and have been debunked by officials of VIO-DVLA. They have at no time requested anyone to pay the sum of N1500 to any Riverland Hospital Account at any first bank branch, neither are they recruiting online.
The whole set up is a scam as it is standard procedure that medical test and physical fitness test usually come last after a successfull interview and selection process. It makes no sense to ask everyone to pay for a job they are yet to get or be interviewed for, unless of course there is a sinister scheme that want to decieve people into believing that everyone will be selected irrespective of your performance during the interview.
My cousine who recieved the scam mail has had his contacts in Abuja where the HQ of the VIO-DVLA is situated confirm it that it is a fraud.
NB: Watch out for their agents; they will come online to claim the whole thing is genuine and that they had confirmed, some will even cite instances where other coperate organizations did thesame, these are just a few of the many antics employed to hoodwink others. It is like a syndicated racket with agents all over the states. For instance, my cousin called one of the designated labs in ekiti state only to be told to come with a sample of his urine test in a rubber can when coming. What kind of a quack lab technician do that??
I felt I should create this thread to warn those of us that are gullible, desperate and in a haste to read between the lines before pathing with their hard earned cash to faceless and heartless scammers.

yeah you are right about that, many people will fall for it. You will be surprised how gullible some people can be. I just hope the MODs dont disappoints on this one.

I paid the money this morning and went to the designated laboratory on Toyin street in lagos, twas a real one, the medical test was truly carried out and the result was printed out,given to me wit the teller, didnt look like a scam @ all,
I dont know which of the staff the poster got his info from.

Why would you pay money to go for 'medical examination' even when you are not sure of going for an interview let alone getting the job?

Everybody that applied got a text for medical test, many did the test and NEVER heard anything from the company again. Going for medical examination will only make sense AFTER one might have gone for an interview and selected THEN medical examination will follow.

This is a shameful scam, they are making money through useless and worthless medical examination.

I will have no pity for any graduate who falls for this.

Best time to make some money through them is now.
Get the local police to pick them and let the gist begin.
Is this not the same way the travel scam of the decade started? That I am unemployed doesnt kill my senses of reasoning and rationalisation. We appear too desperate and infact stupid in this search for job. No wonder we are taken for granted by an equally stupid fraudster who cant tighten up loose ends.

Use your head my Guy, seriously, what is the difference between their states' affiliates and the HQ in Abuja??
Why do you have to go through their AbJ HQ using a personal mobile number to get information about the recruitment when you can easily walk into any of the state arms of VIO-DVLA and get thesame information.
Besides, how many government organizations do you know that render personal mobile phone numbers as customer care line, information line.
Another thing, some programmers have even commented on the possibility of their site being hijacked by scammers as according to them the their site was not programmed using a good script.
Also, my cousins in Abuja have been to their HQ in Abuja and the officials there denied any knowledge of such a test or online recruitment exercise. For those of us that are resident in Abuja here is the adress of their abuja HQ: go to VIO-DVLA office @OGUN HOUSE,CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT,WUSE ZONE 3.
Please let us know what their responses are there. Don't call any fraudulent personal number jare.

have you taken time to ask yourself what one's physical fitness has got to do with a job like VIO-DVLA, do you even know what they do?? This is not a job in the force, you know?? They are more of a vehicle licencing agency. So tell us in details you status of the so-called medical test? Were you certified fit for the test?? What and what did they test, i mean was it a blood test, diabetes test, hiv test bla bla and so on. What did they say was your status of the test??
What was your impression of the lab?? And the name of the lab techs that conducted the test. Guy use your head o.
