But you are the one here 24/7 on west African forum. What is the reason for your hate/love relationship with west Africa? You say you don't want west africans date somali women but you are posting pictures of somali women and tell how beautiful they are so you are in fact advertising for your somali women. Do you want west africans to enjoy somali women or what? I don't get you logic.

Ajuran:

no obsession, just shocked at your obsession about somalis/ethiopians. I never saw such obsession and inferiority complex.

One of the best tribe music in Ethiopia though I have sometimes reservations about how some northern habeshas act as western tourists among southern tribes in their own country. The two habesha girls on the video give you a hint about what I'm talking about. They are known Amharic singers and it is only because of them and their little Amharic lyrics in the video, that the music of this hamer tribe is even heard in the main stream Ethiopia. Here is another video that shows you how the habesha girl acts as foreigner cheesy cheesy

somalia11: 1982 First Nigerian Woman Pilot: Mrs. Chinyere Onyemaucheya
ethiopian didnt have a female pilot back then, those are stewardesses. i got this thread straight from an ethiopian forum

So you think Ethiopian Airlines with its more than 60 years existence and with its own internationally certified pilot training school, which graduates not only Ethiopians but also many pilots across Africa every year (including women), never graduated an Ethiopian female pilot until 2010? Are you serious? LMAO cheesy

Below is the original Amahric news about Capitain Amsale BECOMING CAPITAIN (not pilot) and in that news it says I qoute: "It is not news that Ethiopian Airlines graduates Ethiopian female pilots and currently there are four women pilots working for the Airlines. What makes Amsale unique is that she is the first female pilot to be promoted as Capitain." The news also says that she needed more than 4000 hours of flight working as pilot for years to become the first Capitain.

On the second video you can watch the interview with the first Ethiopian women pilot, who graduated in the 60es. So get your facts straight!

BTW, Asli was not a captain and she is technically Ethiopian (you know she is from Ethiopian Ogaden region) grin

So, Here you go - "nnati" = Mother "Abati" = father "nkula" = dîck. cheesy

So if you know anything Amharic, why do you write these words like you wrote? Who the hell writes "nkula"? And why do you write "nnati"? All three words are written in a wrong way and you are for the second time writing them in a wrong way. No one who knows Amharic writes like this. Can you write them properly? And From all the daily bbc news, an Ethiopian from Jimma remembers a west african scammer BY NAME? Am I missing something or are we dealing with a west african anyways?

You said bring it on. Let's bring it on. Can you please translate the following Amharic phrases?

Semira22:

How?

All the scam news we here over here are perpetuated by Nigerians. There's is even one particular one that happened in the US involving Nigerians. They cloned the signature of one Ethiopian government minister and transferred some funds from the US to Korea, but as God will have it, they were caught as they were about to withdrew the money in Seoul.

I have never heard of Ghanians in scam, maybe they use Nigerian name to do their scam I didn't know. The only time i heard of Ghanian name( koffi Adoboli) not sir of the spelling, was 2yrs ago or so, where a Ghanian defrauded a British bank.

Ok, You are an Oromo from Jimma though in your profile your location was Addis Ababa. An Ethiopian from Jimma who knows west african scammers by name. Are you serious? You are from Jimma Ethiopia but you know a Ghanian scammer by the name( koffi Adoboli) and we should believe you? I can assure you even Ethiopians who live in Addis or the west never heard this name. You must be the only horner that knows west african scammers by name. You must also be the very few Oromos from Jimma, who are proud to be habesha. I understand there is many oromos who are proud to be Ethiopians but a proud Oromo Habesha from Jimma? Maybe from Showa but from Jimma?

So can I ask you if you speak affan oromo?

And what are the meanings of the following words that you wrote?
"nnati" "Abati" "nkula". Especially what does nkula means?
Please explain.

Somali11, you are clearly confusing two fundamental things. What we usually call pilot is anyone, who has a license to fly an Airplane but this is not the official term. What we usually call pilot is called officially first officer or copilot. Though he can fly an Airplane, he is not the captain, who is alone responsible for all the decisions made during flying. The captain is something different than what we usually call pilot. The captain is the boss who has "a normal pilot aka copilot" under his command and is in charge of full responsibility of the Airplane. To be a captain you require years of experience in flying with thousands of hours of flying.

Amsale is the first Ethiopian woman CAPTAIN, NOT the first Ethiopian woman who can fly Airplane. So don't compare her with Asli, they are in different league. Asli was NOT a capitain since the term capitain is only found in commercial flights.

The first Ethiopian woman "pilot" was Assegedech Assefa, who flew in the 1960s. Remember Ethiopian Airlines was established in 1945 and Somali Airlines in 1964. When it comes to Airlines and Aviation, it is a futile attempt to even think comparing Ethiopian Airlines with most of Sub Saharan African countries let alone the horn of Africa with literally no national carrier.

These are Ethiopian Airline and its pilots:

Sorry to disappoint you guys but I have to intervene and save you from this lier called Ta_Xasa. He is just presenting you some non existant fantasy world. I know horners very well especially the Eritreans and the Ethiopians. I've lived many years with both of them. You have to understand that there is all kinds of politics going on between them and some political forces are creating new history and new identity just to server their political goals. The "history" this dude Ta_Xasa tells you is absolutely unheard even to people, who know history very well because it is 100% a made up "history" that is being pushed recently by the Eritrean government. The whole aim is to indoctrinate the Eritrean population that they have much in common with Egypt and sudan or even with nigeria or any country for that matter than their close relatives in Ethiopia. But if you know about the dominant peoples of Eritrea and Ethiopia, the so called habesha, you know they have almost everything in common be it language, religion, traditional wears, customs and many many things. It is even hard for the habeshas themselves to differentiate between Eritrean and Ethiopian habeshas so that when both of them see someone from Eritrea or Ethiopia, whom they are not sure which country is he is from, they usually ask first whether he/she is habesha instead of directly asking whether he/she is Eritrean/Ethiopian. They think the term habesha is more unifying than dividing, so they both use it. Read more about habesha people here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habesha_people

The extreme Eritrean government supporters are even going far to tell their people not to call themselves habeshas. But many ordinary Eritreans reject this notion and still are proud to be habesha. Google for the word "habesha" and you will see both Ethiopian and Eritrean results.

The whole crazy idea that Eritreans are more related to Egypt than their close relatives in Ethiopia, whom they resemble most, is simply a political motivated propaganda that is being propagated by the Eritrean government recently. It is even very foreign to many ordinary Eritreans. The worst fear of the Eritrean government is that many Eritreans some day will have some kind of political union with Ethiopia because of their many similarities. If you ask any ordinary Eritrean they tell you that they are the same people like the Ethiopians. But Eritreans are also aware of the sacrifice they paid for their independence and do not want to be united with Ethiopia. So the fear of the Government is not realistic but it is getting paranoid. Go to any Eritrean or Ethiopian restaurant in your neighborhood and you will know the food is almost the same. Ask any Eritrean on the street whether they are habesha and they will tell you they are.

Sorry for destroying this fantasy world built by the fake guy. But until the italian invasion of the current Eritrea in the 1890, the habeshas always lived in one country having almost everything the same their habesha cousins in Ethiopia. Don't believe what this dude Ta_Xasa tells you and be exited as if you have come to know some unknown history. It is just a propaganda. Use your common sense. If a politicalized Eritrean tells you that he/she has more in common with Egypt and has nothing in common with Ethiopia, then you know that this is just a political BS and has nothing to do with reality. Just ask ordinary Eritrean and they will tell you they are the same people with the Ethiopians.
