Travel / Tourist Visa To Nigeria by nkenwanyi: 2:39pm On Sep 15, 2011 |
Hi, has anyone recently obtained a visiting visa from the Nigerian High Commission in London by post? I am thinking of visiting Nigeria in January with hubby and little one and they both require visas. I have checked the NHC website and there is no reference to a postal application though one of their staff told me on phone that it's acceptable. I would like a confirmation from anyone who has recently processed a visa by post. Many thanks! |

D-reloaded: To the best of my knowledge, Virgin Nigeria is Nigeria's national carier. You can check the media to confirm this. |

Hi all! Could anyone pls help me with the historical prices (at least for the past five years) of all the securities quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange? I have tried to access the NSE website but it seems as if the website is down and I need this data urgently for my dissertation. |

@amogo you can now go home and sleep. I have come to the conclusion that you are a certified lunatic. There's no need asking you to get a life cos I know you wouldn't. I hope this matter ends now that you've achieved your purpose. |

for the men, I would pick Olu Jacobs, Lanree Balogun, Sam Dede, Bimbo Manuel, Bob Manuel Udokwu. And for the ladies, Joke Silva tops the list, with Edith Jane Azuh following suit(I'm surprised no one has mentioned her name here, she's one fine actress) and of course, Monalisa Chinda |

@ dapsins69 This goes to show how childish and immature you are. No wonder you are yet to enter the university at the age of 22 when your mates are already working in banks and oil companies. You can't even take out time to fill your application form correctly but you can open your stinking mouth to abuse people on Nairaland. let me catch you talk to anyone again in that manner and you will have me to reckon with. |

@D10 Do you remember me? I 'm also trying to settlle down and men, it's not been really easy. I am in Leicester and the town is really beautiful, the people are also warm and friendly but I miss home like mad. Have you gotten a part-time job yet? The worst part of it is having to trek to almost everywhere in the biting cold. And I hear is going to get worse in a couple of weeks time. |

@ Paribus You have nothing to fear. In my case, they didn't ask me any questions. The only problem was that they kept me waiting from 8.00am to 3.00pm while other applicants have long gone with their visas(or refusal letters). The ECO finally called me around 3.00pm, after apologising profusely for keeping me waiting he admitted he has no single question to ask me so I should just hang around for a few minutes and pick up my visa. We were about twenty that came for the interview, only three were refused Visas. That goes a long way to prove that if your case is genuine you really have nothing to worry about. Generally they asked the other guys the following questions: Why the Course? Why the University? What is your relationship with your sponsor? What facilities does the school have? Why UK? What is the Course Structure? ETC. They also asked one particular applicant who happened to be an engineer the meaning of one engineering term like that. The guy thrashed it out and of course, he got his visa. Like I said, you really have to ask for God's favour which I believed played a major role in my application. I was nervous and sweating over nothing(can you believe I used the convenience like five times while waiting in their office?) . You too will see that there is nothing much to it soon. |

Hi Everyone, Just to let you know that I got my students visa yesterday immediately after my interview @ BHC Abuja. And to the rest of us that are still in the waiting game, I just want to assure you that God will also do it for you. Just believe that nothing is too difficult for him to do. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. |

@ D10 Don't worry, they will issue you a visa without an interview. I understand It's only when they need clarification that they call people for interviews. Be of good cheer, the word works! |

D10, Please do not let the anxiety kill you yet. You are too young to die. No matter how long the application stays, the most important is for it to be successful at the end of the day. I hope you understand me. I am still waiting to hear if you have collected your package as you are expecting it today. Good Luck and Cheers! |
