To clarify my own post (and for educational purposes not to misinform). My whole point was that editing a passpo is more technical than merely changing date.

A passpo comes with its own security and verification checks which anyone who chooses to edit must understand at least the basics before proceeding. If you do otherwise, though on the surface everything looks perfect upon edit, anyone with an understanding of these checks will still see your 'original' expiry date just by looking at it.

My suggestion, if you don't understand how to go about it properly, stay clear so you don't embarrass yourself.

Well, If you're thinking the edited expiry date didn't align with those security numbers below the bio data page, it actually did. He's aware the expiry date appears there too. Maybe there was an oversight that's why it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for others. Let's allow it rest, topic over flogged already.

I did something similar myself at the beginning of the year and so far have never had any trouble using it on numerous sites (though not Payoneer, but especially the ones that reject Nigerians anyhow).

Let me ask? Did you confirm that the Pass no, DOB and Exp date all match with the Machine Readable portion at the bottom?
A mismatch here, easily detectable upon simple visual inspection, is a dead giveaway if you know what you're looking at.

Above all, it is important you go get yourself a genuine Pass.

I guess you didn't read my first post. Passport is genuine, he only edited the expiry date - he changed Jul to Aug. That's all.

I have a master card which has expired, I never used it for once. I intend getting a new one but I want to know if I can still use the name and address I used before for the new one?

By name and address, do you mean creating a new account or ordering a new card with previous details used?

2 Options...

A. Close the old account and use same details to create a new account.

B. Maintain your account and order a new card with same details, as long as your address is traceable.

I am thinking the same. But nkhay is saying otherwise. I know people that forge US ID and use same to verify accounts on very strict platforms like PayPal, eBay, Amazon, and even Upwork.

No mind the yabaleft patient. He's been contacting me with different numbers to buy his cashapp funds he scammed from Innocent Americans, whenever I demand for proof of earnings, he'd say some nasty things and take off. So I stopped replying him.

He contacted me some days back and I didn't respond so, he resorted to slandering my name to make sure I lose clients. But he's late to the party as most legit nairaland traders are already grouped on WhatsApp because of scammers like him - Thank God some traders envisaged that lunatics like him would surface in the future, forcing people to partake in their cursed lifestyle.

They're now so confident that if you don't buy from them, they'll resort to threats and slander.
