No more need for massive strikes on Ukraine – Putin

Most of the sites targeted by Russia have been hit, the president explained

There is currently no need for additional large-scale missile strikes on Ukrainian targets, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.

the Russian military is now pursuing other objectives, as only seven of some 29 targets designated by Russia’s Defense Ministry were not hit in a bombardment earlier this week.

“But these objects are being finished off gradually. There is no need for massive strikes, at least for now,” Putin said.

I personally disagree with President Putin on this. More missile strikes will bring those Banderites to their senses quicker.
But he knows best.

Why Western Countries Are Interested in Maintaining Energy Poverty in Africa.
"The West’s exploitation of Africa’s wealth is driven by two factors," explained Dr. Mamdouh G. Salameh, an international oil economist and a global energy expert. "The first is the old racist view that African people are backward and inferior to Western people and therefore can’t defend themselves or protect their natural resources. In a nutshell, it is doable. The second factor is greed and profit, which are the core of the Western capitalist system of taking advantage of poor and helpless people and exploiting their resources without letting them benefit the slightest from their stolen resources. That is how Western empires were built in Africa and around the world in the 19th and 20th centuries."
"Western countries have consistently ignored Africa’s energy resources for years declining to offer investments as long as they didn’t need these resources at the time," he said. "But in the aftermath of the Ukraine conflict and having introduced sweeping sanctions against Russia, the European Union is trying to curry favor with African hydrocarbon producers to reduce its dependence on Russia’s gas and oil supplies."

British Prime Minister Liz Truss has sacked Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng ahead of an expected Reversal of his mini-budget last month.

British media cited two government sources saying the chancellor, who had held office for just five weeks, had been shown the door after being called back early from a meeting with the International Monetary Fund in New York.

Another one bites the dust.

Residents of German Leipzig at an anti-crisis rally demanded that Ukrainian rabids and supporters of the escalation of relations with Russia leave Germany. And the protesting Germans designated the supporters of the Kiev regime with exactly the word that they fully deserved.

SpaceX notifies Pentagon it can no longer pay for Starlink services in Ukraine — CNN
It is said that around 85% of Starlink terminals provided to Ukraine were financed by third parties, including the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom and Poland.
US company SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, has notified the US Department of Defense that it can no longer pay for Starlink satellite communication services, provided to Ukraine, CNN reported citing documents that it had obtained.

"We are not in a position to further donate terminals to Ukraine, or fund the existing terminals for an indefinite period of time," the broadcaster quoted a letter from SpaceX’s director of government sales, sent to the Pentagon in September.

Breaking: North Korea fired about 170 artillery shells toward the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea on Friday, the Kyodo news agency reported, citing the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Earlier, North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan. The missile traveled about 650 kilometers (404 miles) at a maximum altitude of 50 kilometers before falling outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, some 370 kilometers from the country's coast, Kyodo reported, citing Japanese Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada. Hamada said that the missile flew on an irregular trajectory.
North Korea has carried out eight test launches since September 25 and over 25 since the beginning of the year. North Korea has emphasized that its test launches are being carried out in response to the refusal of the US and South Korea to stop joint military drills, which Pyongyang believes threaten regional stability.
