If pi had the value of most of the thousands of worthless crypt0s we have around, no one would be talking about it. It's by making naive folks believe they'd become rich by mining stuff on their phone that they're able to retain their userbase.... Maybe the arguments against it is thinner cos most folks have learned their lesson and moved are are not bothered.
I have never seen anyone with good knowledge on crypt0 who is stuck with pi... It's always new folks who are hoping to get millions from it someday... If there's one thing the last few years have shown, making a crypt0currency is easy- you can even make yours. Getting value is the hard part.
