Chatgbt response to Bola Tinubu Scandals

Bola Tinubu, also known as Asiwaju Tinubu, is a Nigerian politician and the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) party. He has been involved in several scandals throughout his political career. Here are a few notable ones:

Alpha Beta Scandal: Alpha Beta is a consulting firm that was contracted to collect revenue on behalf of the Lagos State Government. The firm was alleged to be owned by Tinubu, although he denied the claims. In 2020, a former Managing Director of Alpha Beta, Dapo Apara, accused Tinubu of using the company to siphon funds from the Lagos State Government.

Bullion Van Scandal: In the run-up to the 2019 general elections, a video surfaced showing a bullion van entering Tinubu's residence in Lagos. The van was alleged to have contained large sums of money, which was seen by many as a violation of electoral laws.

Certificate Forgery Scandal: In 2020, a group known as the Nigerian Youth Democratic Party (NYDP) accused Tinubu of certificate forgery. The group alleged that Tinubu's claim of having a degree from the University of Chicago was false, and that the certificate he presented was forged.

Imposition of Candidates: Tinubu has been accused of imposing candidates on the APC in several elections. In 2019, the Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, was denied a second term after Tinubu endorsed another candidate.

It is important to note that Tinubu has denied all these allegations and has not been convicted of any wrongdoing.

Tell me more
Sure, here are some additional details on the scandals involving Bola Tinubu:

360 Million Naira Fraud Allegation: In 2009, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) accused Tinubu of misappropriating about 360 million Naira belonging to the Lagos State Government during his tenure as governor. However, the case was dismissed by the court due to a lack of evidence.

The Lekki Toll Gate Shooting: On October 20, 2020, the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos. Tinubu, who was alleged to be one of the sponsors of the attack, was accused of having a hand in the incident. He denied the allegations and claimed that he had no control over the army.

Political Dynasties: Tinubu has been accused of promoting political dynasties in Lagos by imposing family members and close allies on the state's political landscape. For instance, his wife, Remi Tinubu, is currently a Senator representing Lagos West, while his son, Seyi Tinubu, is a prominent businessman.

Tax Evasion: In 2020, SaharaReporters, an online news platform, published a report alleging that Tinubu's television station, TVC, had been evading tax. The report claimed that TVC owed about 5.6 billion Naira in taxes to the Lagos State Government.

It is worth noting that some of these allegations are unproven and some have been denied by Tinubu or his supporters. However, they have nonetheless generated controversy and criticism, with some observers raising concerns about the transparency and accountability of Nigeria's political system.

Meaning of Scandal
Rumor or malicious gossip about events or actions.

DO NOT BUY VOTES and get RULED by vote buyers for 8 years.
Make a wise choice

A Yoruba adage says when you want to catch a monkey you act exactly like the monkey.

In a country where there has arguably never been an election winner without vote buying, the leader that will change the status quo must have also bought votes.

It is a case of - When in Rome act like Romans

So many people know that Sowore is a better candidate in the Nigerian Presidential elections, but because he will not play the game of the politicians who will provide money to feed the hungry masses in exchange for their votes, he is therefore only likely to win in the wildest dreams of a regular dreamer.

When in Rome act like Romans
And thank your Heroes like Tinubu for his sacrifices and generosity.

Who did better for their states as governor Bola Tinubu or Peter Obi

As an AI language model, I cannot provide a definitive answer on who did better as governor between Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi since they governed different states with different needs, circumstances, and political landscapes. Both Tinubu and Obi implemented policies and programs aimed at developing their respective states and addressing the needs of their people.

Tinubu is credited with transforming Lagos State into a megacity and introducing several policies aimed at improving public service delivery, while Obi is known for his efforts to reform the education and healthcare systems in Anambra State and improving the state's infrastructure.

It is worth noting that governance is a complex and multifaceted issue, and the impact of a governor's policies and programs can vary widely depending on a range of factors. Ultimately, the success of a governor's tenure can be measured by the outcomes achieved, and the verdict of history on their legacies.

Therefore, it is up to individual voters and analysts to assess the records of Tinubu and Obi as governors and determine which of them performed better in the context of their respective states.

So because I mentioned Fashola and Ambode makes it contradictory? You must be delusional o. They are good people and they knew what was right . It is on record that Tinubu was governor for 8year ....8good years without accomplishing anything, yet you want to divert the praises of Fashola and Ambode to him for that ? If yes, then you must be daft

Is Osinbajo also good?

Tinubu still has a pending case in Chicago. And as for building the "largest economy " is false . Why ? Because Lagos has always been the nation's capital and it generated most of its revenue from the seaports. All Tinubu brought was thugs and cultists to Lagos. If not for Fashola and Ambode that came cleaning up his mess, Lagos would just been another stop-over for Èwedu and Àmala

One thing is for sure, if Atiku wins the election Lagos and most Southwest states will continue to progress with things like Lagos Mass Transit and the likes due to the kind of continuity and leadership Tinubu presents. It is in the best interest of the South East to bring power to the south and Tinubu offers the best chance for that.

If truly he was a drug baron that outsmarted the almighty USA who declared the biggest war on drugs at the time then you have to respect his power of organisation. He has channeled his energy into nation-building and built the biggest economy and most populated city in Africa.

Peter Obi could not even contest talkless of winning an election at ordinary PDP primaries.
In a scenario where Tinubu is not in the race and it is just between Obi and Atiku how does he want to win the presidential election?

For Sothern power, Obi should step down and Endorse Tinubu.

I think a Yoruba Museum should have a Yoruba name and not a colonizer's name.
Give this Yoruba museum center a Yoruba name and not John Randle
I have never seen an European museum with an African name and I don't think Chinese people will give an African name to their museum

Which name do you think gives pride and makes more sense?

Politics / Tinubu Is Better Than Obi - Its Not Bad Leaders by NSNA: 11:39am On Oct 01, 2022
Compare the achievements of Tinubu versus Peter Obi and it becomes glaring and clear that Tinubu is light years ahead

Nigerians are in the habit of supporting the wrong candidate and then crying when they get the result, just like the way they got rid of Jonathan with his world-class team for Buhari

Now many are campaigning for Peter Obi who is a Billionaire that does not like to spend against a man that creates wealth, a great team builder, and someone who developed Lagos with tax

This is not about sentiments, Tinubu is better.

The only case for Obi is that he comes from a marginalized tribe that has been treated unfairly in Nigeria
But with a country as diverse as Nigeria there are several other marginalized tribes.

Nigeria should not make the same mistake twice or will have self to blame

The level of senselessness in Nigeria government can be greatly underestimated sometimes.

How hard can it be to run a national airline.

All you need

1. Investors with experience (20 percent)
2. Popular brand - Nigeria
3. Demand - Nigerians(most travelled people in Africa)
4. Focus on most lucrative routes
5. Staff - Pilotes, air hostesses and good agents.
6. Website to by tickets
7. Advertisement and PR (server Jollof and people will talk about it)
8. Re invest profits to expand the business
9. Master local flights within Nigerian states(No need for bilateral agreement with foreign countries
10. Employ smart people to further develop the company and so on and so forth
